I took a ride over to the west coast of Florida to fish for Mangrove Snapper in Tampa Bay. I fished with my buddies @groupermvp and @RyanMorie around the Skyway bridge and pier. We started out the day by cast netting pilchards for live bait. We then headed over to fish some rocks near the main skyway bridge. Mangrove Snapper have a minimum size limit of 10 inches in Florida, and these snapper are plentiful in Tampa Bay waters. I cooked the Mangrove Snapper with the skin for a pan seared snapper recipe!.

How was the red tide?
Hey I just want to say I randomly met Brooke and Viktor out shopping yesterday and they were super nice! I didn't realize how big a fan I am until I met them because I actually got super nervous and started blabbering about I don't even remember. Anyway it was nice to meet you and I wish you the best of luck in the future!
Can confirm, every meal I've had at the blue table was delicious! 🔥
Thanks brother
Glad you got to meet our local skyway nemesis! I usually don't fish around the bridge anymore due to those dolphins. I am so amazed how they don't get hooked. They would go from one pole to another picking our bait off. Looks like they have learned a lot in a year or so by their patience and waiting until you have one hooked. Unbelievable.
I wish everyone on UA-cam was a kind and genuine as you guys are. Great work you’ve never changed since day one.
Welcome to Tampa Bay! Glad you got to know our flippered friends at the skyway. They are almost impossible to fish around somedays!
Every time I see someone cast a net, I imagine myself trying and falling right into the water with it!
I think the samething.
Lol I’ve seen that a time or too
Jajaaaa or leaves some teeths on the net
I haven't fished since 2017 when my husband and best friend died of cancer. I gave away all our gear, I regret doing that. I miss fishing so much.
If you still want to go out out, the misses and I love meeting new people and bringing them out. Orlando Florida (Saltwater - Cocoa Florida/Merritt Island), give us a shout anytime ❤🎣
Those dolphins are insane!
Vik, you mention dolphin being smarter than sharks and sticking around, man I swear when he released that fish he was playing with you and WANTED you to reel it in so he could chase back down.. They are incredibly playful aswell lol. You know for sure if that was DMFD he would dive in after that rocked up fish, especially with flippers around 🤣🙄
If not DMFD, BlueGabe would!
I really enjoy your videos, I’m a Florida boy living in Massachusetts, when I watch you and your lady it brings me back to my Florida life. Thank you both, God Bless
You get the anglers mvp from me. You fish with so many people and actually catch them. Even catch fish when normally they don’t. You’re like a lucky charm.
Those dolphins were killer fast. Great video. I love the variety of trips you film. As a native Floridian and lifetime fisherman I look forward to seeing familiar places.
If you wrote a series of recipe books I would buy them or if you had a restaurant I would go often to eat there your dishes be looking deliciously and mouthwateringly good lol
Mangrove snapper are second only to snook as the best eating fish in Florida! My mouth was watering even when you started catching them. But then this recipe really made me hungry! Great stuff, as usual.
I'm telling yall. Unless i catch a 14 incher+ he's going on the grill whole everytime no debate. Doing a whole fish is just the way to go.
MVP crushes em. Great collab!
That looks so fun, those dolphin are relentless though! Sharks, dolphin, sea lions,we all have our enemies 😂
It is a great day to have a great day
The Dolphin shot was cool.
Can’t wait to live everyday fishing in Florida after the GameStop squeeze

Beautiful presentation
Let’s go !!! You’re in Tampa !! Been waiting for you come this side of town !!
I love fishing there
In North Carolina at least Dolphins, (or Porpoises whatever you want to call them) were a huge problem on the piers, but lately (like in the last 5 yrs) sharks have been the issue. It doesn't help when the pier allows people to sit and feed them....and they do it like 30 yards from where people are swimming. I'm looking at you Bouge Inlet Pier. Gotchas are freaking expensive. If anyone tries fishing in the Atlantic Beach area, go to the other pier. It's worth the 20 minute drive. It's called Oceana pier. Less amenities, but they treat people better.
Fish on !
This is awesome my friend. fishing
Looks delicious, great job!
Thanks for another great video!!! I’m new to offshore fishing and I’ve learned so much watching your videos. 😀
I love the dolfin show.
🔥 welcome to the bay!!!
That dolphin that let go of the fish was probably just playing games with you. What a troll. Never had this problem myself, but I usually surf fish.
(jean RalphIo impression)Tampa bay dolphins are the wooooooorrrrrrssssst
Good stuff fellas. I haven't fished the skyway since red tide started. Good to see the mangos were minimally affected.
That skin looks and sounds heavenly. The skin is healthy too!
The dolphins are relentless at the Skyway lol
Looks great!!!!!!
I spent a month in Tampa (I live in MI) and fished that very spot. Brings back fond memories, especially the mangoes!
There are artificial reefs and rock piles up and down the bay. You can catch keeper gags and red grouper inside Tampa Bay! There are dink red snapper. It's just a matter of time before you'll be able to catch keeper red snapper.
Cant wait for Alaska BB!!!! please get a big halibut
AWE! you and Ryan More were in Tampa!!! Wish i could have hung out with you guys!!!!!
haha liked it when ya asked by biting the fish and immediately seg wayed into that dolphin strike lol
Hey Vic what's up bro. Can't wait for those mexico videos . I'm from Oaxaca Mexico. Me and my two sons are really huge fans . Love your videos and God bless.

Yessir, my hometown is in this video. Great video as always.
Super aerial views!
Great recipe, only one I use.
I live in Brevard and I get bait at the snap of a finger any time of year! Don’t listen kids
What up Juno 💪💪💪🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥!!!!
Wow
I would love to try this one day!!!
Good job guys!!!
Fish with the skin on is normal where I’m from. Food looks good as usual. If outdoor chef life is still in Alaska Do a collab.
Had to correct myself. Food looks amazing as usual. 🤙🏾
Great content! I like watching your catch and cook videos because you always show off some good looking recipes.
2:51 there was a scorpion in that baitwell.
We went across that bridge Sunday!
No way Jose!
You guys are in my backyard cannot believe it!
Down here in Naples we call the dolphins “gay sharks” because they’re as annoying as shark but put on a show for the tourists. Yeah I know, not really PC, but it’s been a nickname for them for years. One guy said we should call them tax collectors, but depending on water clarity, you might not even land a single fish when the ‘fins show up.
Who is this? I fish pier Daily
Cap i live there
@@masonbailey9736 no cap here
As someone on the east coast I CAN confirm that we got more sharks than dolphins
Savage, Vic. Bite the tail off. Where's Joe Rogan when you need him. Love you and Brooke. Alaska a super bucket list trip. ENJOY.
Great video, we are near Tampa so now I know where to take my son fishing!! Be safe in Alaska and catch tons of fish!!
My first time in the keys i was amazed by mangrove snappers. They live everywhere. They just thrive. And they eat better than almost anything. Its almost cheating.
Fabulous as always!
Dolphin solution:
. You have to get pinfish and either throw the large pinfish where the dolphin is or have it on a small hook as a diversion to buy you some time to reel in catch. The pinfish on small hook requires team work but will give you more time.
fish chicharone (spelling lol) yum
lmao not vic being a burglar
I really enjoy watching your channel! Thanks for the great videos with information! Nice work!
How do you make sure not to hook the dolphin/what do you do if you do?
Awesome. Thank you for the post!great job! Hey, should you "bleed" em? Does it make a difference?
Come to Japan! Great video as always.
I've got a video on my channel where they follow in and play with a greenback on the end of your line. No will to eat it it's literally like a cat and a string hes just having fun. The dolphin out here are savage. Shout out the skyway world's longest fishing pier! Tampa Bay home of the champions.
Them some little greenbacks. Went this past spring and at fort desoto they were about the size of your hand.
Man we have just much dolphin as yall do here on the east coast on the panhandle and I mean in Pensacola Fl
So cool to see a this video filmed where I live. Great video man. I wish I could have met you
We have bait all year round to
“Mango” mangroveeeeee
Be nice when it stops raining and water clears up here in Jacksonville Florida
Flounder is the best fish to eat snook is great to but I'm not dealing with regulations need more than 1

A snapper appetizer.... a "snappetizer" if you will.
All that plating detail lol I would of been finished by now lol
Nice
Awesome content brother 🙏!!!
"This is a whole fish recipe"
*fillets fish*
I was able to taste your cooking by licking my iPhone! 😳😳😳😳
I honestly did not think leaving skin was bad I usually do that all the time
Should of hit the rockpiles by the south side, endless rockpiles
best eat fish like red bass black drum spot fish croker fish nice fish blacken it bbq side steak fire slaw
how about doing some east coast peir fishing videos?
Red tide down, I haven't paid attention to the news.
So they did get a quick flip,..
😂 them dolphins are a pain !
Leaving the skin of the fish is kinda weird? How was it? Brookie, .. the skin of the fish are really good , we dont really take the skin off , we just remove the scales and the guts, and cook it... Great vid man . Godbless
