Mia, good to see another video from you! Hope all is well in Cali. I enjoy watching people's day in the life (I mean one of the biggest trends on YT haha). It's interesting to catch a glimpse of your life as a software engineer. I've honestly been living under a rock because I didn't even know you had a corgi! Corgis are cute and it's nice to meet Kas!

1:15 - First meeting was at 7:30 a.m. for you? Dang, the earliest meeting I've had was 8:00 a.m. haha; interesting you guys use Zoom for your meetings. I had a previous job that also used Zoom for meetings but my current job uses Teams.
1:34 - Yeah, makes sense. When you work with people overseas, it's inevitable to do early (or late meetings sometimes) to account for the time difference.

3:46 - 3:49 - I have tried Playwright before and it is a bit of a learning curve but it's cool to try different frameworks that are more or less industry standard. Playwright is pretty cool but these days I don't get to work with it a lot since my current job uses C# and Selenium for the automation framework.
5:12 - 5:15 Interesting to see that daily scrum for you is that long (seems to be common from what I have heard); for me, it's somewhere between 10-30 minutes (30 mins being the max). I believe the team I meet with to do scrum is about 15-20 people and we don't go over 30 mins.
6:04 - 6:07 I love corgis; one of the cutest dog breeds (followed by Shiba Inus); you got a cute dog there :)
7:40 - 7:43 - Is your keyboard custom made? I notice the heart key on the top left (probably acts like a Esc key I assume). It's pretty cool

9:55 - 10:00 Yup, they say gym is the best therapy for the body and mind. Great to see you hitting the gym; most people would go after work but for me, I go before my work shift to kick start my day and get a dose of energy. To each their own of course :) Health is the new wealth!
