If until six years ago the citizens of Skopje could buy second-hand things from the Buvljak market under Kale, he has been transferred to "Tehnometal Vardar" in Madzari for several years. Everything can be found there - from worn clothes, white goods, to delicacies, dairy products and cookies. From the sellers we talked to, we came to one conclusion - people in Macedonia do not have money to waste and always try to spend cheaper.
"I have been here for two years. Everything can be found in this market. I sell light bulbs and such electronic items. If a store closes, they call us and we take them at a cheap price and if it costs 100 denars in a store, you will find it here for 50. I also worked in the Administrative Court, but now I am only busy with this. As for living, I can not say that one lives from this. With force. Since the crown started, there has been no work, previously there could have been a turnover of 50 euros a day. It can be seen that people do not have money. "But there are also quality things in this market," said Muhamed Rushiti, a salesman we spoke to.
Most of the sellers share the same trouble - the lack of money made them come here and at "plus" 40 degrees and in minus temperatures in winter, to take home a penny. But happiness does not always smile on them and they go home with empty pockets.
"There is no big profit here. We go to the bins and sell here. Someone gives me a gift and that's how we live. I used to work in Macedonia Tabak, I do not have a pension and I live only from this, I have nothing else. "People have no money, people bargain for 10 denars," said Dukic Ramadan, a bankrupt who is the last to die.
Such markets are numerous in cities across Europe, and buyers are happy that there are such in our country - they can buy nice things for cheap.
"There are a lot of interesting things here that are functional. "The prices are favorable and it is nice that there are such places," commented the buyers.
This second-hand market is "open" every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday, starting early at 5am until the afternoon.
