A positive song that's very much needed today. It too has that sorta Rick James vibe to it. I always felt this song should've kicked off the CONCEPT lp, followed by REACH OUT...TAKE IT TO THE TOP...TAKING OVER...I'M GETTING OVER..COME BACK LOVER..JUST WHEN...UNFINISHED LETTER...HEART REPAIR MAN. Although SOLAR was going through a distribution crisis @ the time, this album, Dynasty's THE SECOND ADVENTURE, and even Shalamar and Lakeside follow-up efforts should've been given and shown greater love
i love the Concept lp, but unfortunatley "Theres A Place" was my least favorite due to its lack of balance compared to the rest of the songs. It was the B-Side to single, "Come Back Lover."
