Many of you had questions regarding Karan’s salary based on the graphic seen in the video. At Axis Mutual Funds, his package was 2 crores of salary and 2 crores of ESOPS during his exit from the company in 2018. His entry salary was similar to what he was earning at Goldman Sachs. We have taken the most he earned at each career stage for a more straightforward visual representation.
My father was a chief engineer in FACT(PSU) in 1993 and his salary was 9000 Rs and take home was 6500 Rs in 1993; So I decided to join a private company in 2004 ; But now my friend who joined FACT, take home is 2 lakhs and mine is 90K; My advice for youngsters; Please keep changing companies every 3 years and get 30% hike on every 3 year; I stuck on to the same company from 2004 and all my friends who kept on jumping are taking around 2.2L per month. You might fall in love with the company; but you are just an instrument for the company
I fully understand.... but assuming you fell in love with the company, that in itself might be the environment many people are craving for, without which they talk about quiet quitting, leaving 9 to 5, don't work for money and other such philosophies ... Not against what you said, but its a possibility i gather from your words 👍
Wow, Sharan, this podcast was truly insightful! I learned so much about finance from your interview with the millionaire. The questions you asked were spot on, and the insights shared were invaluable. Thanks for providing such valuable content that helps us all grow our financial knowledge. Keep up the fantastic work!
Brilliant podcast, best part was, we live only once, what's the point of living poor and dying rich. Keep it up and thank u Karan Ji, for your wisdom.🙏❤
Awesome. Sharan please bring more these kind of interviews 🤝." Money has to work for me" this is the the take away for me and I have been trying for this.
This is a good feedback and i realised the same. Don't manifest your thoughts and let speaker give chance to complete what's in there mind. I completely echo that
Super genuine person, Karan sir ! So down to earth and having achieved so much in your life !! Kudos to you 🎉 The host is so condescending. Interrupting and letting the guest not even complete!
Nice video👌 The guest speaker has good portfolio I would say for including gilt fund in it. Gilt fund is underrated, but people should have this since it is in their portfolio for security.
I think interviewing such humble, experienced and successful personas we need little vocal soundness and less aggressive but enthusiastic approach. That way we can extract more from the interviewee :)
Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got talking about investment and money. I started investing with $120k and in the first 2 months , my portfolio was reading $274,800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest my profit and gets more interesting. For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home 2 weeks ago and care for my family.
@rachealhubert74 Quitting may not be the best approach if you ask me. This is where an AI comes into the picture. I barely have time to trade myself as my job swallows up most of my time. It is really a surreal growth in his career and finally ending with 4cr in 2018 before retiring Karan Datta this man's journey is something else. Every young person should learn from his journey.
Good one though. And nice advise to youngsters. Saharan pls do make a video on how to handle the upcoming financial crisis in US which is definitely going to impact India.
Awesome Sharan, You're really doing great job, appreciate your efforts and wish you more success. Lets hope you'll be interviewed by like you in future for your success story
Which ever interview seen till now, his content revolves around the wealthiness of guest , no core content on what is the mentality of successful people during their struggle
Time of entering into an industry also matters a lot. Majority of the people who have entered the corporate sector in early 90s got benefitted by the boom of the Indian economy following liberalisation and globalisation.
Not making up to a million before retirement is unfulfilled retirement.!! I'm 54 and my wife is 50 we are both retired with over $7 million in net worth and no debts. Currently living smart and frugal with our money. No longer blaming FED for our misfortunes. Saving and investing lifestyle in the crypto and forex market made it possible for us this early. even now, we earn weekly
@MuhammadRoseJPIf you trade with an expert, you will make a lot of profit in trading such as Bitcoin and other crypto I will recommend expert Mrs. Theresa Walton.
She has been trading for me, her strategies are wonderful and she made me see binary and forex trade from a different dimension. I keep making profits weekly
Remember even though he may not liking his work compensation helped him to achieve financial freedom. What one will do if his heart says do something which may not be financially rewarding. Most important he comes under top 1% salary bracket not everyone has that kind of salary which is way above expenses and provides saving ample
8000rs /month in 1992 is equivalent to >50K today , how many freshers in India get 50K starting salary ? that's the main reason of early financial freedom , early high income and stock option.
Hi Sharan.. this video is very insightful.. thank you. Can you please enlighten as to where can we park our funds for emergency savings? As FDs also do not give a great interest rate now !!!
Pls seek advice from Sharan’s courses or take advice from the one percent club. Or take advice from an MFD. There are short term fixed income funds that can be used for emergency funds.
Thank you for this wonderful video! I have incurred so much losses trading on my own....I trade well on demo but I think the real market is manipulated.... Can anyone help me out or at least tell me what I'm doing wrong?
I strongly advise you against self trading, it's really dangerous and had brought so many investors down, you need someone with the knowledge and strategies, someone dedicated to the crypto currency market business, and I will strongly recommend expert, Mrs Eva

Add finance subject...in school.... Our Next generation need this🎉
Agree
They don't want poor people to be rich
Hence they won't add finance in school syllabus
