Refurbished 4/5 Thunderbolt 1000T Tornado Siren Test, 3 Min. Alert - Thomaston, GA 3/20/19

Recorded on Wednesday, March 20, 2019. This is a tornado siren test of the Upson County EMA's warning siren system. This siren is a 3 phase model (1000AT). This siren has a 6M blower. This siren is set on chopper terminal 5. This siren is tested at the first and third Wednesday of every month at 1:00PM ET (weather permitting, formally tested attack signal). Finally! I got a successful test of a 4/5 port Thunderbolt after second attempt to film it (first attempt to record it was back August 2018 and got a failure due to poor radio reception). It's also my first successful Upson County siren test after years of trying to film one of their sirens (most tests were canceled because of cloudy conditions). I met up with Peachtreesirens and Brendan Williamson. This siren was refurbished by McCranie Warning Systems. I think this siren was installed in 2017. I don't know where this siren was originally serviced at. This siren is located in Thomaston, Georgia near Southside Grocery (5775 Indian Trail, Thomaston, GA 30286).
