I have been following John his entire racing career, first as a fan and then as a fellow racer. I ran a fuel dragster while John ran Top Fuel then Funny Cars . I met and talked to him thru the years and is a great guy, family man and racer. Keep on keepin’ on John Force .
This is a great story on John Force. My wife and I dont make a lot of NHRA races but when we do it is to watch John. And John allways make his fans fell like he has known them for years. John Force is one hell of a racer and one hell of a person. Thanks John Force
i was never interested in drag racing till i saw a story on john force. now, i watch every weekend. i am very family oriented. that has also made me feel like he is someone i can identify with with. ty for the post, i will watch every second of what you posted.
Met John at Pomona one year in the pits.My son wanted to take a picture of John and I. My son told John it was my birthday and he shook my hand and acted like we had been friends a long time. Been watching John race a long time. He is a drag racing icon and a really nice person! I really admire what he has done in the sport of drag racing.Great documentary.Thank you.
John Force is incapable of being boring. He's also a tough son of a bitch -- the fact that he climbed back into a funny car at age 59 after that horrible 2007 crash at Ennis, Texas tells you all you need to know about his dedication to his sport.
Now, I'm pretty sure I never missed anything on TV from John Force...but somehow I missed the part of this interview when he said he was handicapped. Then I hear he had polio. Maybe I did miss this video? I honestly never heard that and I've been a big Force fan since he started having success.
Castrol makes lots of good Products but back in 1975 I tried to save money. I would buy a quart of Castrol two stroke oil at K-mart for 75 cents .. I would melt the rings in my 1974 Yamaha YZ-80 with GYT KIT .. I had to pay a lot more for a pint of Bell-Ray or Golden Specro.. Some times you have learn the hard way
David R Amen JF is the man I love his show on wheels &personally who else gets beat with a smile on his face. All of his records there untouchable (my humble opinion)He’s 63 yrs old still competitive, good health go for it John!
On one of these vids I asked where is Brittney, I never see her. Next vid, her championship run! Congratulations, Brittney, I know how hard it is to win in racing. To all the Forces, you are a great family, the kind that make this country so great. We need more like you!
just wanted you to know this is my 1st post ever on utube, and it will probably be the most important. First off john congrats on raising a fam and raising hell in the world of drag racing. i've always a racing fan cause of the feeling it gives u. my wife doesnt understand that electricty that runs through u when yur in tht car or at the track., iguess she nvr will. this story is so motivational n inspiring, u should make a movie or doc.. good luck girls (ash, court) run lik hell.... ur dad did.
as i knew he had a disability thiwas really my future goal was to race funny cars like him in future as im really have a few disabilities this was really wont stop me ever driving funny cars in future as a disabled driver and tuner thiswas really my futue hop in futue really see this day will come for me in future thiswas really my future career in funny cars as i admire John force as he was able to drag race when he had Polio thiswas my future hope in funny cars in future
Funny how everybody thinks John is a family man. He spent his life being a “gypsy”, his words not mine, on the road away from home. His wife raised three girls by herself, she gets all the credit for that as being a parent is a lot harder than being a celebrity racer! John is an extreme narcissist and this story explains why. Narcissism is triggered by a child’s emotional needs not being met. He lived in a tiny trailer house with several siblings while his parents focus was on work and surviving. Poor dude never got any individual attention. His narcissistic personality disorder makes him put himself before his family! If he wasn’t narcissistic he would resent his parents neglecting him and would have chosen a lifestyle that would have allowed him to be with his kids on a daily basis!

I nominate him for best American racer ever. There are others, but Force is in the fight.
John Force is truly a nice guy, I spoke with him briefly once a couple of decades ago and he was just like you see here.
