Joao Cancelo is a great example of how a players' fortunes can change very quickly in football. 12 months ago at Manchester City he was one of the first names on the team sheet he was in top form, but after the World Cup he lost his place in the starting lineup due to his dip in form and he fell out of favor with Pep Guardiola and they were happy to loan him out to Bayern Munich midseason where under 2 managers Thomas Tuchel and Julian Nagelsmann, he was in and out of the side and found himself benched for a lot of the big matches, not to mention that even before his issues at Manchester City, at the World Cup on the biggest stage of football, he was benched by his national team. Manchester City don't need him and as long as Pep Guardiola is their manager, he's never playing for the football club ever again and Barcelona he really needs to perform after all the issues he's experienced for club and country in a span of less than 12 months.
Ansu Fati's loan move to Brighton was shocking, but given his lack of game time for Barcelona in the last 18 months, he just had to make a move that would kickstart his career and if he performs returns to form and stays fit, he has a future at Barcelona and Brighton have been a great environment for young talent and those players grow and then move to bigger clubs. Leandro Trossard Ben White Alexis Mac Callister Moises Caicedo Evan Ferguson Kaoru Mitoma Levi Colwell etc and if he's given game time Ansu Fati will find his form at Brighton and the move was needed big time after seeing his development stall because of injuries and inconsistent game time.
Even though I'm a Man united, it seems as if Brighton can be a title challenger this season and after signing Ansu Fati they are sure give bug clubs a lot of trouble, the match against man united is going to be interesting
Kolo Muani didn't miss the goal in the World cup it was Martinez making a magical save 🤫
You forgot Sergio Ramos. He made his homecoming at Sevilla, the club that raised him as one of the best CBs in the world.
Outside of the window
Chelsea paying 45 million for Cole Palmer makes zero sense. I was surprised that Manchester City sold him this summer to Chelsea as after seeing Riyad Mahrez leave, we thought he would get more minutes and a much bigger role in the Manchester City team, but with the arrival of Jeremy Doku and City already having Jack Grealish Phil Foden Bernardo Silva and Julian Alvarez on offense, his playing time he won't get enough minutes and more importantly Chelsea overpaid for him, yes he played for Manchester City but paying 45 million for a player who was literally 5th choice and doesn't have a lot of game time in the premier league doesn't add up to me at all.
Many people believed that Joao Felix was being wasted at Atletico Madrid due to the fact that Diego Simeone wasn't a fan of his style of play and he didn't fit in at all. His loan move to Chelsea was underwhelming as he was unable to make an impact and improve his form hence why when Mauricio Pochettino took over as Chelsea boss, one of his first decisions in the team was to send Joao Felix back to Atletico Madrid where they still want to sell him.
After no big club was willing to pay his wages, he publicly spoke to Fabrizio Romano about his desire to play for Barcelona and it was his dream since he was a kid to play for that football club. Somehow they managed to sign him on a loan on deadline day, agreeing a big pay cut to achieve his dream of playing for Barcelona and he desperately needs to start performing since he's 23 years old it didn't work out for him at Atletico Madrid or Chelsea and he's on his 3rd team in a span of 8 months (2 loans) and he needs to kickstart his career there. Barcelona completing the Joao Felix signing raises a lot of eyebrows because despite the talent he possesses, he doesn't do enough during games, he's a very inconsistent player, he doesn't score a lot of goals, doesn't have end product, and he doesn't have a settled position on the field he's not a CF, a winger or a 10, there isn't a facet of his game that makes him elite and he's a player who managers struggle to get the best out of and hope at Barcelona we see a lot more from him.
Not only is this one of the greatest transfer windows ever it was only one of the best deadline days. Just fantastic no transfer window will ever be this dramatic and this eventful. Anyway, great video, Goal 90
Randal Kolo Muani wanted to join PSG and basically forced Frankfurt to sell him there before the transfer window closed. Paying 95 million for him after just one elite season at this level that's the reality of the transfer market nowadays and while he's not worth that much, he'll be an impactful signing for PSG as they have an all French front 3 of Kylian Mbappe Randal Kolo Muani and Ousmane Dembele, and Mbappe is definitely happy that PSG signed his compatriot. PSG also signed Goncalo Ramos on loan from Benfica which means that they signed 2 good young strikers this summer and you can argue that they should've added a top midfielder in their team to add a lot more quality in that department which will help them out in the big games, but for them signing Randal Kolo Muani completes this rebuild that PSG have gone through this summer.
PSG have bounced back from loosing Neymar and Messi
@@floydalexdavies7000 Their team is much more balanced now than it was months ago as they're no longer focused on bringing in big name players.
What a wild transfer window it was. What was quite entertaining one especially when players were snubbing off Liverpool to join their rivals 😀😂😃😅😄 .
I would like a Real Madrid home jersey.

Never liked kolo muani
Mason Greenwood managing to find another club after what he's been through is bad for football. He'll never play for Manchester United again after all of this and the reason is because having a rapist is a bad image for you football club and all of the noise is surrounded around the player and to me he's lucky that Getafe got him on a season loan because he shouldn't be allowed to touch a football ever again.
jao felix is so overrated and he has fake hype around him
