I'm currently living in Australia. Everytime I listen to this song it reminds me of my village and all the beautiful river , flowers, Himalayas. I'm pretty excited to go back to my beloved country after this lockdown gets over.

Sudarsan Da, the lyricist and composer of many of Mantra's songs, used to be, and still is, an inspiration to a lot of us, esp in the hills outside Nepal. A very good looking guy( m no homo) and an even better personality. BTW he was doing an honors in Physics ( yes nerdy and intelligent). He was, and is, a gem to our community...hope he comes back and pencils some more thoughts to make us reflect again. We used to sit and listen to his compositions long before Pragya added his licks( super talented but wish he was not SO Van Halen inspired, almost to the degree of plagiarism) and Bhaskar(good guy) lended his vocals. A forgotten poet, he deserves to be heard on a far bigger stage than what a trendy band once did..yes we the listeners are trendy{(not me personally...proof?...after all the best alcohol that I have gone around half the planet tasting...I still would prefer TONGBA and second is Old Monk). ..did you just call me cheap? }...and also wish getting a break finally as a good band would not get into your melon heads( yes MANTRA that is you). You could have build a legacy but just as any semi credible musician from the hills, you ended up like Lopchu ko peda..really sweet before that downhill into Teesta. My point is that, a voice got lost amidst the cacophony of a semi professional wannabe Rockband.
Now I’m in Uk I feel so nostalgic and I can understand how u feel from Darjeeling and Sikkim the same way I’m feeling now thank you mantra for creating such a amazing music Still listening in 2020
