- “Quinn’s Theme” also known as “Prom Queen” is a slow, piano track used for when the character Quinn Fabray comes on screen during Season Two of Glee. It’s First heard in Episode 16 “Original Songs” discussing her desire to be McKinley High 2011 prom queen. It’s also, heard later in the same episode when Rachel & Quinn are talking in the auditorium. Later used in Episode 18 “Born This Way” When Lauren is exposing Quinn’s past to her. Finally used in Episode 20 “Prom Queen” When Quinn is getting ready for prom. Later when Finn & Jessie gets kicked out of prom, Quinn looks worried as Sue takes the two out. Season Three finally hears the theme in Episode 19 “Prom-asaurus” when Quinn is caught by Finn standing up in the restroom, also , Rachel talks to Quinn about letting go of the past troubles with each other. Finally is heard in Episode 22 of Season 3 “Goodbye” When Sue and Quinn say Goodbye. Also used briefly in Season 4 “Thanksgiving” when Kitty is taking to Quinn in the hallway. Also include during Santana & Quinn’s Augment in the choir room. “Naked”
This isn’t the official version since it was made personal for the glee soundtrack. 4x08: towards the end of Quinn's fight with Santana right before she slaps her
Quinn is an interesting character. She's not one of the common mean girls in high school, they gave depth to her character resulting her to have vulnerability.
"They" is definitely not Ryan Murphy (The creator of the show), he wanted Quinn to be a one dimension mean girl and Dianna Agron was the one giving her depth
To bad she didnt get that much character development after like season 3 tho

Shame we got less and less of the original glee cast and more more of rachel berry as the show went on .. perhaps that's why ratings dropped

There is no perhaps. Its a fact. The more the show focused on Rachel the lower the ratings. Look at last season of it. It was Rachel all the time. It was also the lowest rated season. Murphy should have got a clue. But he was to incompetent to get one.
well it is her show🤣but i do agree he was using the side characters less and less, but i dont think it was just rachel it kinda becamse the rachel,klaine,and britanna show after s3. and it took out my fav quinn after s3 but that was just cause ryan murphy didnt like dianna

The theme fits Quinn so well. Soft, careful, and beautiful, but also melancholy. It's basically her.
Let’s talk about how good this theme is at encapsulating quinn. On the surface it sounds like a nice high pitch beautiful theme for the “perfect” girl, but underneath it sounds more sinister with a sadness to it. It’s also a slow theme and i don’t think this was a mistake, i believe this shows the fact that, if you pay attention, quinn is the most thoughtful character in glee and doesn’t make rash decisions unlike almost every other character. I absolutely love quinn, because of the depth dianna gave her! I believe she is the most developed and most realistic character in glee.
Such a shame she had so little screen time and solos 😔 quinn's my absolute fav

Thank you so much for uploading this! I didn’t realize just how long Quinn’s theme was, but I loved it the few times we got to hear it in the show. It’s such a beautiful yet sad theme, which is perfect for representing Quinn.
This theme makes me think of how Quinn appeared together and perfect at the beginning of the series, but then later on she went through so many struggles: having to give up her baby, her parents kicking her out-only to then find out her father was cheating on her mother and they were getting a divorce, getting into the car accident, wanting to get back together with Finn in hopes of getting her ‘perfect life’ back...Even though Quinn definitely deserved better, I’m glad that Dianna Agron did her best to give Quinn as much depth as she could with the scraps that she was given. I especially adore the scene where Sue and Quinn hugged because it truly showed how much Quinn respected Sue and saw her-in a way, as a mother figure, since her own mother never really cared much for her, besides appearance wise so they would be perceived as perfect by everyone. But Sue always cared. She was rough with her love, but she knew Quinn had it in her to be a better person and manage to get out of Lima.

@@gleencoremusic do you think your friend could put together Brittany's theme as well? Hers always made me think of a child, but there's a cutscene before she sings "hold it against me" that made it seem a bit darker because she wasn't always sunshine and rainbows.
I love Quinn and her theme! It sounds so majestic yet sad. She really deserved better.
So AMAZING to finally enjoy her theme! I love Quinn she's my favorite character and always loved how she was the only one with a background theme plus one that fits her so well, combination of sad and creepy which is the perfect mixture of such a complex character.

This song is so mysterious, just like Quinn, she was so unexpected with her actions, she could be so kind , but then completely change and backstab someone.. she was definitely one of my favourite characters, you just never knew what stunts she would pull..

That's because in the first season they used it whenever Quinn was about to do something "mean" as in against the Glee club/Rachel. Ryan Murphy wanted Quinn to be just a stereotypical mean girl but Dianna had so many dimensions to the character

@K90_ 2019 Klaine had a theme too. Its the one that plays when they run down the hall together in 2x06. It's more of a Kurt theme since you hear it a lot during Kurt scenes in s2

Is there a video for the sad music playing during Santana and Kurt's scene in the auditorium when she's crying for Finn? Also played in the final episode of season 2 when Brittany tells Santana how much she loves everyone in Glee club
What put this over the top was when they chose to use it. You'd never hear it whenever Quinn was happy or at least not being underhanded or manipulative. The theme itself kinda serves as a symbol of Quinn regressing to her original mean girl ways.
