How about trying some great complex songs of Planet X? - Clonus - Micronesia - Moonbabies - Quantum Factor - Ataraxia - Her Animal - Alien Hip Hop Or Virgil Donati - Pyramid on Mars - Running from Alien I partly transcribed few riffs but not entirely, very challenging
@@TarekThemAll - nothing personal, those songs just didn't do anything for me...not my thing... I've already done - Brass Liks - ua-cam.com/video/ZpaHa301L5I/v-deo.html and PAC Man - ua-cam.com/video/GOB9MNlGmOk/v-deo.html , I'd like to do another another Uzeb tune...haha, but that's not one of them. I wish I could play New Funk - but after 20 some odd years, I think it would still be out of my reach :( If you have a tune in mind from TOP, please let me know and I'll have a listen...thanks:)
haha...you couldn't request anything easier? :) ...the liks at the end and the syncopation throughout the whole tune!...this one would be a handful :) It's got a cool feel and I haven't done too many tunes like this before. There'd be a lot to learn...I'm going to add it to the "considering" list...thanks! :)
Sorry! I just listened to it again and yeah, it is a beast isn't it. Maybe save for a rainy day but it would be cool. Thanks for the reply.@@BassCovers
@@BassCovers On 0:48, you typed a "9" instead of an 8. The note C is correct, but the tab on that part is incorrect. Amazing work on the video. Thank you!
@@BassCovers I have to say I've been first blown only by the rythmn aspect...i suppose 415 is justified for vocal reason... anyway I appreciate what you're doing. very good and precise job!
@@yvesrossignol7235 Hi Yves...thank you very much :) Yes, it could've been for any number of reasons they altered the tuning. I see it quite often. There's no rule that says it has to be in 440 all the time ;) Enjoy...and thank you for your order too! Cheers! :)
I gotta disagree with your choice for tempo here. The pulse is half as fast with the basis for the rhythms being 16th notes, not 8th notes. The drums are clearly playing in "that" time.
Pretty amazing for her to sing and play a complex line like that at the same time.
it really is. She's quite a talent...
MAN SHE’S DOING IT ON A FUCKING FRETLESS
This is surprisingly easier to learn than I expected! Of course, if I only play the line without singing at the same time 😅
hehe :) I couldn't imagine singing and playing this!
Got a gig with this tune. Found your video. Thanks a lot for this great explanation. Made it way easier to nail it down. Thanks for the effort.
hi Alec...and thank you for the comment. I'm really glad you like it and helped...cheers :)
Thank you for your work!
My pleasure. Thank you for the comment :)

Great bro, thanks for the notation
My pleasure Richard, thanks for the comment :)
THANKS
cheers!

And yeh Nikko had very fresh ideas for Coltrane tunes.
Are you sure its 9th fret ( e ) in the end of verse against of 8th fret ( e flat)?
Hi Mika...I have no idea where or what you're referring to :) Please be more specific...maybe the timecode?

Amazing work on the video. Thank you!
Regarding the 25 cents, may it be because she uses an upright fretless bass?
I never thought about that, but yes, I suppose that could be possible? :)
thank you so much!! one of my favorites. what does an "x" mean on the tabs?
ghost note
It’s when you pluck the note but keep it muted with the left hand
I cant read sheet music and need help what strings shall i play
I'd suggest finding a music teacher in your local area to get you started. Good luck and have fun!
I love two things about this: 1/ your channel (paid you a Sub!) and 2/ how chromatic this song is!
Thanks for the sub :)
what do you mean by tuning down 25 cents? isn't it A=440?
hi Yves - to my ears it was A=440 less 25 cents...so A = 415. Judge for yourself. If 440 sounds correct to you...go with it ;)

what key is this

It's written in cut time. Half note = 88. What tempo do you think it should be?
Can someone tell me, how in the fuck she can sing and play this
lots of practice? :)
Greg Fairweather amen to that
