    8:05 I was just taught that the layers were. Mucosa, fibromusculocartilaginous layer then adventitia.
    9:09 this gap in the cartilage also allows for easy passage of the bolus (ball of food) down the esophagus on its way to the stomach.
    10:28 something I knowticed while studing the respiratory system was that the further you get into the bronchus the LESS gobles cells and hyaline cartilage you see but for exchange see MORE smooth m. and elastic fibers.
    14:27 Type 2 phneumocytes are NOT as frequent as the 1 phneumocytes!
    17:50 Dust cells also called coniophages!
    Great video! Thank you!

    ليش ال terminal bronchiole گلنا simple cuboidal مو هي simple columnar ؟ 🥲

    • @akram.jaffar
      @akram.jaffar  11 місяців тому

      Because the thickness of the epithelium gets thinner and thinner as we go distally. So from columnar to cuboidal to squamous when reaching the respiratory portion of the passages for example in the alveoli. The thin epithelium serves to facilitate exchange.

    Sir, if the smooth muscle of bronchus has a spiral course, it can not be a continuous circumferential layer in a cross section. Am I correct sir?

    • @akram.jaffar
      @akram.jaffar  2 роки тому

      I did not understand your question. Could you please provide more details? Why should the smooth muscle fibers have a spiral course?

    • @suwanihansika8379
      @suwanihansika8379 2 роки тому

      @@akram.jaffar Sir, Thank you for your response. Sir, you told that the smooth muscle in bronchus has a spiral course. Sir, I am asking can we see a continuous circumferential muscle layer in a cross section of the bronchus,if muscle layer has a spiral course along the wall?

    • @akram.jaffar
      @akram.jaffar  2 роки тому +1

      Yes, the can still be as a complete layer because although they are spiral in orientation in some place but they are present all around the circumference.This spiral arrangement permits contraction of the bronchi in both length and diameter during expiration. Good question.
