[Ep 3] Songbird in a golden cage || Redesigning Weiss || Hypothetical RWBY reboot

In this one, i'm drawing Weiss and slowly adding a bit more to our new world. I'm kinda disappointed in how it turned out, i have so much more to say about Weiss and her journey, that i didn't put in this video. Mostly bc it's tied to other characters and story additions that will come later. I kinda shot myself in the foot with that decision. Well, rest assured, following episodes only get longer and have a lot more to say on their subjects.... and things around them.

As always, i encourage you to turn on subtitles to battle my accent and slurring words.
This episode is mostly setup for our girl's later growth, but i hope you'll enjoy it anyway.
Next episode will take a bit bc i need to do a couple bits of animation for it... and somehow figure out how to record screen with audio from it without pulling headphones out for it.. i don't wanna save the whole episode just to cut out those few clips mweee

Honestly, your design on Weiss's dress is lovely and impressive. Seeing those amazing details and concept art make me wonder if RWBY could be amazing if they started with a manga / comic, at least to set up the worldbuilding better.
And yes, I can totally see Weiss being the model and even the mascot of the Snchee Dust Company for all their products, Dust make-up, Dust medicine, hell even her Rapier-Wand was made to promote company to expand their influence to others nations.
Okay but listen, another fact that Ruby and Weiss seem to share in common, is that both someone they look up and wish to honor their memory. Weiss looks up to her grandfather, Nichola Snchee and Ruby wish to be like her mother, so honestly this would a wholesome fact those two can bond over it and why they both use to red in their design.
It's been so long since I rambled about team RWBY, this reboot is a fresh breath of air. Thank you!
