I really like the way you present kitbashing to beginners! Just using basic clippers, knife, and glue without touching the more advanced greenstuff work. Love it, keep up the great work.

I've been doing research into painting and building since my friend group is getting into the game together and have each picked out our armies and I really love your content. I'm so excited to get my boys put together and really appreciate tutorials like this
I've got an old metal Warp 'Ead with the Eraserhead haircut (or hairsquig) I'm building a custom staff for him and in his off hand (the shoota support arm) a scratchbuilt servoskull that he found one day after a fight.
I’m new to 40k and just starting an ork army, this video’s amazing thankyou🙏. So can I build my gretchin and old boyz box and do these with the remaining parts? or will I have to sacrifice/set aside some parts for this before building the 2 box’s?
Yes you can! Just use the 11th body so you can keep the Grots legal. Though I did use the Runtherd body to make my Weirdboy, but I'm using those Grots for decoration anyway.
You can build a squad of 10 Boyz and your 10 Gretchin with a Runtherd. You'll just need to set aside either the body of the Runtherd or one of the 10 torsos and legs from the Boyz kit, and this will be used for your character. Then, choose which item/s from the Runtherd kit you'll use to make your character's weapons. The rest can go on the Runtherd as normal. Example: If you want to make a Painboy, then build your Runtherd as per the instructions using the electric prod at the end of the staff. Save the mancatcher to make a power klaw for your Painboy. You should end up with 10 Boyz, 10 Gretchin, 1 Runtherd, and 1 Painboy.
So I saw a build someone did of either a painboy or an apothecary where they took a pistol sliced off the barrel drilled it out put in some thin polystyrene rod and then clipped the end of that at an angle.
think the only character I made for my orks was an ork sniper out of a torso I had left from the boyz box and some legs I whipped up out of sprue bits, never got arount to painting him and now hes stuck in indiana in a tote while I live in the PNW

The Team Fortress 2 music over the Painboy really just WORKS honestly.

As someone who has had to repair a painboy model a few times, a good syringe alternative is a bit of paperclip sliced at an angle to give it a point.
Great video, it helps to get the creative kitbashing ideas flowing.
This is fantastic. Thanks for sharing the process.
I would love to see what you could do with the nobz kit!
banjo kazooie and rs music? based
Omg - love the Rhino as a replacement for legs! So going to do that 😁
thanks you for the video :)
I'm currently in my orktober project, painting like 60 boys, so this is really interesting for making characters ^^
While not a part of the kits, if you want a great option for a syringe needle, clip a piece of a thinner paperclip
Definitely using this for my Orks as I'd already planned on cannibalizing a bunch of the classic ork kits for their bits.
I cannot wait to try my hand as a mek
Just by watching this I know I won't regret my sub.
Ayo the Fossil Fighters music tho
Gork and Mork bless the 11th boy

Heat up a bit of spru than stretch it thin that use the thin part as a needle.

The painboy kit bash is glorious. You could always use a paper clip and a pin vice to make a syringe for his slugga.
Maybe one of the round barrel shootas with a spike would make for a better syringe?
