Dear Tak. Another question. This one about your spot seasoning. Once you are done with lightly smoking your oil for 15-30 sec. What do you do next? Do you raise the heat and start to wok in the existing oil or do you exchange the oil you used to season the wok and then raise the heat to wok?

Hello, thank you for your question. Something that I should provide more clarifications. I will do that in the future with a video. However, to answer your question at this moment, I will tell you what to do next. You will start cooking by adding the ingredients immediately to the wok. This will drop the temperature of the oil, and it will stop smoking right away. You should leave your stove at the highest setting as you cook until the wok gets too hot and the oil starts to smoke again. You can then decide whether you want to reduce the heat or keep cooking. There are different reasons for making these choices. If you want to char the ingredients, you would let the stove stay on high. There are some advantages in taking this approach, and I will discuss the finer details in regards to this decision in some future videos. This approach would have a significant impact on the flavor of the food. However, if you do not want to char or burn the ingredients, then you can reduce the heat. I apologize that I am going on much more than providing you with a simpler and more straightforward answer. The bottom line is after 15-30 sec of gentle smoking, start cooking immediately.

@@wokwithtak thank you for your extended answer! Just to be extra clear: after keeping the heat on low for 15-30 sec you raise the heat to the heat that suits your ingrediences and goal and start adding them and then you adjust the heat more, if need be.

Dear Tak. You say 8 ounces is sufficient for three people. That must mean that the dish you prepared is part of the meal and not the only thing you eat. Is that so? What do you normally eat together with the dish you prepare in the video?

Hello, for this meal, I cook three dishes: an egg and tomato dish and a pork dish with zucchini and yellow squash in addition to this dish. I cooked three dishes in less than 30 minutes using my FAST Cooking System. I did my first live streaming last Monday to demonstrate how to cook such a meal. I will do more future live streaming for the same purpose so that I could demonstrate the flow and logistic in cooking these meals. All my videos are dishes that I cook for our dinner. I usually take one of the dishes for my video. This is the reason that I could post a video each day. Thank you for your question!
