I'm over in Crown Point. went to Watts Bar in Tennessee last year, was able to get some good cats like that. nice to see them up here in the area. Ive went up to the St joe on Michigan side last year when it was real low, out of jasper dairy. maybe try the next one south sometime soon. Definitely have those trips, full week with work/family then finally catch a few hours and wake up and just go....forget the cord/gas/forgotten pole, tackle,bubbler batteries lol. often times still good day. wont catch/kill if not out there, that's the only certain thing.
You fish for big flats in Warsaw Indiana? I have yet to catch a flathead ever. What's best bait. Best bank fishing areas to fish at? I'd like to catch my first flathead just need a bit of guidance. I been fishing pike lake and the tippy River using green sunfish and gizzard shad as bait. Just not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Thanks for watching my videos bud. I use to fish salamonie reservoir quite a bit which is a little south of you. Great spots there to banks fish for catfish. You’re on the right track with your baits. What time of day do you normally fish? Are you fishing close to down trees?
@@fishingmichiana headed out to get on possibly tippy lake in a few hours. Hopeing to get some catfish and possibly a few carp. I know white bass are popping around 7am so may try for a few of those. A buddie has a 10foot John boat and we're using a weed eater as the outboard motor. Wishing I had a boat of my own to fish on or someone with a actual fishing boat. I been fishing alot due to going through a divorce. One of the only things that helps me lol
