Yes you can! I prefer fondant because if you use chocolate when you take it out of the mold the chocolate starts to sweat and melt and it’s harder to apply onto the cake pop. But it definitely works I’ve done it before you just have to work quick.
Almond bark and candy melts are not chocolate there is no chocolate in either of those. Never sell that as chocolate always be honest with your customer..
