I lived in Grimsby in the 1980's and it was the greatest fish and chip town. I hope that has not changed. The pubs were iffy but good people. The Barge was a top place even then.

Around 15-20 years ago Grimsby was a brilliant night out in when all the Riverhead was open (the big long building behind The Barge that is now partly a gym) you had Yates, Wethers, Walkabout Fused and Chicagos so you would just work your way along them but sadly they are all gone now.
