I originally thought that the assassination attempt was the worst outcome: that Trump and his followers would become more emboldened after the event. It seems to be turning out instead that it’s just impairing Trump’s ability to think strategically and is harming his public image.
Every time a conservative mentions inflation and the price of food I want to shake them and ask "Where is that money going?, if its up by 30% where did that go, who has that money now?"
Profit margins have stayed the same for food, the inflation is from increased money supply from things like the american rescue plan, the green new deal, interest payments on treasury bills, and the inflation creation act. If the money supply doubles but you keep your prices the same then you’re essentially cutting your prices to half of what they were before.
Not what economic papers i have read say. Also just common sense. Trump deregulated the banks. They can loan as much money as they want now for speculation. The rich are buying up everything and playing monopoly. Thats what us happening and trump is looking to create a obe man monopoly in america called dictatorship.
Dems did the smartest move they ever did in centuries by keeping biden until the last possible moment, making trump cocky, and then suddenly swapping biden with an alternative which is actually energetic and flipped the polls. That was crazy smart, if planned. 4D chess

@@nicholasjones3207 Yup. It's way more likely he's sulking because he's running against (and losing) to Harris now. He only started acting this way after Biden dropped out. It's not ptsd.
He's probably wishing the zipper did him in. Think about it, we would have gone out at the peak of his post-presidential powers, wouldn't need to deal with an impending prison sentence, and he would have been marketable as a martyr. Now he's living long enough for consequences.
non-zero chance that Trump debates Harris and says "you're fired", then gets confused (since more recent memories are the first to go) why she hasn't left the boardroom
Historically he hasn't fired many people in person. On The Apprentice they filmed two different things to do it. And in person he'd send his bodyguard Keith Schiller to fire people. Then he fired Schiller by using the secret service. Then he tried to fire General Kelly in person and Kelly just kept doing his job and forced Trump to backdown by just ignoring anything about him not working for Trump anymore.
Even if Trump stays in but loses, that'd probably be a slow death for the GOP. They don't have anybody to replace Trump and Trump himself is increasingly becoming a liability. It's an unenviable position to be in and I couldn't wish it on anybody better.

The first Jan 6th could have and should have been the end of the Trump era. But media, corporate America and Republicans who denounced him at first, all helped to slowly rehab his image with a sizeable chunk of the public. I doubt they would be able to pull this off for a second time.

His crowd sizes were his go-to narcissistic brag and he can't (quite) brag about that anymore. (Democrats are definitely going to keep showing how Trump has empty seats and she doesn't.) I think these 'press conferences' are just a pivot to something she isn't doing (yet) so he can still brag he's doing *something* that makes him 'ultra-special'. He and his campaign were totally geared up to take down Biden and suddenly Biden was gone. Kamala had immediate enthusiasm, crowds, and was relatively young so all his planned attacks were rendered basically useless which made him mentally flounder....and he's losing. Of course Trump looks tired. It's exhausting to stay humble when you are the chosen one & had the hand of God personally shielding you from a showering of bullets, more bullets than then world has ever seen before. Give him a break. You all would have such an ego.
You can't stand for anything if you live without a spine you wretch. For years Trump rallied, most likely aided by stimulants. For years all it was was "sleepy joe joe old joe dumb joe bad" and now when you finally have the roles reversed, you are begging for people to lay off your daddy. Also we're leftists not liberals, we have guns too bro. You aren't cool because you know what sidearm Gavrilo Princip had on his person when he died. I release you. I could make a similar excuse for Biden. He was a civil servant for 40 years. Youd be tired too. But this isn't about empathy. And I hate Biden too. Dont even really like Kamala. But her VP is what populists pretend they are to get into office and then cut taxes for their rich friends. Trump doesn't care about me, he doesn't care about you. Im glad he is hollowed out. And it isnt from PTSD. PTSD is all about extreme emotional/physical reactions to thoughts of the traumatic event. He is watching it happen. He realizes it is the highest level of acceptance he had. He might actually be fantasizing about it not missing. Because then he would be a martyr, and not thought of as a loser. People like you could say "well he would of won! but the deep state got him!" He is against his first effective opponent, and floundering. Trump is most likely going to lose now. Even if miraculously he doesn't lose, you still one day will realize you were acting against the democracy, and voting for the fascist. The germans have a slight excuse that Hitler was appointed. Not only did you vote for it. You cheered at the book burnings. And asked us to stop making fun of him. You heard him applaud Elon Musk for firing striking workers. Who is for the people again?
I can’t tell if this is sarcasm, that is the state we are in today - a vain sinful idiot believes he is the chosen one and millions of sheeple believe him.😄
A couple months ago I would have said the only reason Trump's running is to stay out of jail, but given the recent Supreme Court ruling that Presidents are kings, I have no idea why he's torturing himself like this. Sheer ego I guess.
Clinically, PTSD is having severe emotional or physical reactions to THOUGHTS of your trauma. H He isn't traumatized. He is reliving his finest moment. He is cherishing it. Its all he has left.
@@Acrylescent you probably already know this, but it's worth the reminder that if some medications aren't responding well with your body and brain chemistry, it's good to consider changing it
I wish journalists had some balls at these press conferences. I want them to start asking him the real questions like: "Do you think the guards at your prison will be nice?" "Will you be 'rolling' with a gang once you're 'on the inside'?" "Do you think those heavy metal doors opening and closing at all hours will make it hard for you to sleep?"
I honestly believe the “watching over and over again” is an ego thing and not PTSD. Like I think he keeps whatever sane parts are left in him sane by stroking his own ego with those “hero shot” clip.
That's genuinely sad. As a veteran who experienced many traumatic events both during my time in the military and in my current career, this makes me feel genuine empathy for Trump and I hope he is able to process these events in a positive way and experience post-traumatic growth... Is what I would be saying if he wasn't a horrible person who is, all too late, reaping what he has sown with his violent and dehumanizing rhetoric since he started carrying the birther torch during the Obama years.
ONG the return of a classic! “Windmills are killing birds! They’re being wiped out… extinct … birds because of these windmills. They can’t see them. They go to fast”
Birds getting hit by windmills actually has an extremely low death rate of birds. It’s not a completely insignificant number, but usually birds are smart enough to not get hit by a windmill. Especially eagles, hawks, crows, falcons, and other large birds that are typically endangered. In fact large birds like to use windmills, highways, city blocks, and other tight flying spaces for hunting.
I can tell he has PTSD because he won't shut the fuck up about the assassination attempt. I did the same thing after I drowned. It's probably worse for him though because he's a pathological narcissist, so he almost lost the thing he loves most in the world
There is also self-checkout theft, like "accidently" forgetting to scan an item. About 15% of people do that, yet they would never do traditional shoplifting and don't consider it as bad.
He was really riding on that high where people were patting him on the back and saying how much of a badass he looked in that photo. But now that's over, and things are getting too real.
A hallmark symptom of PTSD is avoidance. Avoiding the type of situation or place or anything that reminds of the trigger. For him, that would be rallies or open public speeches. This is very aligned with someone with PTSD struggling with a traumatic experience.
I swear to fuck, I hope this election isn't even close, in Kamala's favor. They should call him Hyperbole Don. Oooooh price controls, so scary! Drill baby drill does nothing to control prices.
33:40 "I think this is a different kind of a race, all we have to do is define our opponent as being a communist or a socialist" Bro thats literally the same strategy theres nothing different there.
I mean, if someone had tried to take my life, I might have trouble sleeping, I might be afraid to go out into the open. Probably the sane for Trump. I mean, he's a born billionair, has he ever felt afraid before? Like, really afraid, not just spooked.
Rallies used to be his safe space, now they're his PTSD trigger. Seems pretty obvious why he isn't doing the intensive campaigning like he should be at this time.
Trump might have PTSD about the shooting, which is why of course Elon Musk brought it up during their interview despite the fact Trump specifically said he never wanted to talk about it again.

The money is in the yams and the yams is the power that be.
Making him spend money on Joe ultimately crushed him. He got grifted. Aww.
Dems did the smartest move they ever did in centuries by keeping biden until the last possible moment, making trump cocky, and then suddenly swapping biden with an alternative which is actually energetic and flipped the polls.
That was crazy smart, if planned. 4D chess

Then he fired Schiller by using the secret service. Then he tried to fire General Kelly in person and Kelly just kept doing his job and forced Trump to backdown by just ignoring anything about him not working for Trump anymore.
