No, DTF is relatively new and we have been pressing Easyweed to baseballs for years. Definitely use the Magic Heat tape to hold your htv to the ball's surface and use upwards pressure, rolling/holding the ball against the heated platen. Hope this helps! -TRW Pilar
I am trying to recreate this for my sons baseball team and for the life of me, I cannot find a font or a size that will work I have a cricket explore air 2! any help would be greatly appreciated!!
+2redline Soccer ball would be tough but it will last a little bit. If you keep it as a memorial rather than playing with it, you should be good. :) TRW Nick
+LaTanya Ligon As long as the football is on a stand rather than being played with, it may work. :) We haven't tried this on a football yet. I can put in a word to try this though. TRW Nick
That rhinestone covered heat press, tho!!!!! OMG!!
a pair of kevlar "campfire" gloves would be a great way to hold these.

Did you use DTF Powder? I've tried this but seems like it's not sticking well

What temp should be used?
We drop the heat to about 290 F. Test it with your press on a practice ball, to see if you need to bump the heat up a bit. -TRW Pilar
Great! Where can I buy that tape?
veguecolep, Thank you for watching. This is the Heat Tape on the website. www.therhinestoneworld.com/Magic-Heat-Tape_p_1177.html

Wondering how this could be done faster - I bet this would work with a heat gun and some finger pressing (with gloves on). Maybe not.
It might? Experimentation is life, we love trying new things. -TRW Crystal
What temp to do have the heat press on?
USSSA 3Up3DownEvents, I was at 305 for 5-7 secs with the Siser Easyweed.
Could this be done using a regular iron?
Yess just make sure that heat is being equally distributed across the iron.

Would it work with a soccer ball?
