@@WilfredoPadinJr Yes like John 3:16 - no scripture in the Bible says God loves Moabites Canaanites Ishmaelites etc - infact the scriptures say nonIsraelites mean less than nothing to God
A little more beautiful thing Jeremiah was a weeping prophet looking at the devastating 70 years that was to unfold. 70 years later when the devastation was completed, we see another weeping prophet- Daniel, greatly weeping for his people. And the Lord answered Daniel by revealing the good plans that He had. It involved the messiah being cut off and He then being Glorified to bring in everlasting righteousness. This is generally called the seventy weeks of Daniel found in chapter 9. That's why to apply thus verse narrowly to one's personal life is to completely miss the wonderful plans God actually meant when He was speaking to Jeremiah.
Its always important to ask who was speaking and who were they speaking to and was I in the intended audience and what is the message? Was it given to me in 2024? Context context context!

I ALWAYS tell people to read this verse in context.
They also need to read the whole chapter and not just take that verse my itself
@@gracenmercy579 Precisely! 100%
I totally agree. Ppl take verses out of context all the time to make things fit there situations. Let us allow Gods word to say what it says.
Amen!

God's patience telling them over and over to change their ways, nothing he wanted them to do was difficult, just their hard hearts
