Angel Dust is good music sadly though I feel like people Just react to whatever has more views and mr.bungle been known to have a shock value to their music and I think people who do reactions wanna entertain us with their shocked reaction. I hope one day they actually react to some Angel Dust shit or even their king full a day or album of the year. But in my opinion I love myself some angel dust 😆🤘
impressive as hell that you got this shit the first time hearing. Bungle is insane genius but obviously an acquired taste. 3 albums to indulge , the first self titled is a mix of ska, metal, circus, funk. a very raw, often challenging listen. the 2nd, "Disco Volante" is more a Jazz metal infusion, a bit darker and more refined in its insanity and the 3rd is "California" which is Bungles version of pop. think beach boys metal. just forget what you think you know about music and all will be fine ;)
I've listened to this song so many times over the past like 15 years and never bothered to look up the lyrics that I couldn't hear. This video had me cracking up. 😂
Couldn't click any quicker on this. Bungle are fantastic. As is their vocalist Mike Patton. The guy was/is a member of the legendary band faith no more. He's collaborated with hip hop & electronica acts, and has a chunk of other projects that are all worth checking out because they are so different.
"Thank you to whoever did this to me..." Mr. Bungle is one of the most delightful mindfucks in music history. You'll never be the same after hearing this kind of crazy awesomeness.
The line about warm beer:"...it makes me fucking tingle" hahaha! Its "puke", not "tingle". All the samples there about "where's the beer...its gonna get warm..." and all that is from the movie Blue Velvet. The actor is Dennis Hopper.
Mike Patton was heavily influenced by a classical composer named John Zorn - who did some works that shifted style and substance super quickly and seemingly at random. He (Zorn) wanted to replicate the chaotic sound of an old Bugs Bunny cartoon soundtrack which would go on random tangents based on the quick pacing of the jokes and setups. So it comes from somewhere. And it's all on purpose. Pretty much all of Mike Patton's work deals with chaos, subversion, and unabashed silliness. He's a super music nerd who just likes to play in his playground.
@@qatsidan don't discount Trey Spruance lol Saw Secret Chiefs 3 with Deadcross and, I say this in all seriousness, they blew DC off the stage in a way I've never seen/heard. DC was f'n great, but SClll was a chaotic transcendent I've not seen before. It was like Trey got the call from Mike and went, um, okaaaaay and went through his rolodex of musicians M.A.S.K. style to build the best team for the task.
On this particular album this is probably the most extreme example of there music. The other songs are more structured, but all songs excellent. I would describe there music on this album as scary circus music. Keep it up man.
Damn son, you just got bungled!!!! I LOVE THIS!!!! Your genuine love for sounds shines through my man. With all off the bullshit on line these days it is inspiring to see you using it to expand your musical horizons... and yes M.F. Doom, is cut from the same cloth as bungle. I would say that Kool Keith ( dr. octagon), is another hip-hop artist that has a similar vibe to their creative process, especially the Keith album Sex Style.. . This is art, you know these guys never wrote a song to be popular or to be commercially successful. They just create because they have a compulsion. Mike Patton the lead singer has so many worth while projects, check em out... one of my favorites is a band called Phantomas, their album Directors Cut is a collection of Movie theme songs. Holy.... it's a Big Boy double quarter entendre with a side of Cleveland steamed clams, and a little death by chocolate for dessert with NUTS. What the fun!
Squeeze me macaroni as a primer. Jeebus, talk about going in dry. I have to say, the brow furrow says it all! Took it like a champ sir! If you'd like a little more gentle ride into Mr. Bungle, their album California is about as gentle an intro as you can get, and on par with Blood Sugar Sex Magic as front to back masterpiece. Keep loving music my friend!
You definitely got the point, right off. This is what Bungle does. Organized chaos that makes you feel like you're losing your mind. That's Dennis Hopper, in a clip from Blue Velvet, at the end, yelling Pour the Fucking Beer.
I listen on the reg, but that's so I can make sense of the chaos. It's perfect because it's complex enough to never get boring. As an advanced musician, I need this in my life.
Oh the fabulous Mike Parton! Loved this reaction!!! Check out the equally mental 'Green Jello' - The Thee Little Pigs would be a good start - and has a great clay-mation video too!
The movie Blue Velvet is sampled throughout this song and others on this album. Don't you F*cking look at me!' 'one thing I can't understand is warm f*cking beer,; it makes me fucking puke'. All Dennis Leary quotes.
You are welcome, my friend. So, Mr. Bungle’s first album is very much like this for the most part. Their second album is a lot different, and their third and final album is very much like beach music, think of Beach Boys plus metal and craziness. I fuckin listen to this shit on the regular. Then again... I’m fuckin crazy.
Also, try digging into the other projects by Mr. Bungle’s singer, Mike Patton. For some brutal metal, listen to his band Dead Cross. For some baby making, lay your girl down by the fire, and get to waxin music, try his band Lovage. For some straight forward rock, try his band Tomahawk. For some pop-type music, try his band Peeping Tom. Plus he has many other bands. I could rattle off twelve off the top of my head if asked.
FYI.... Mike Patton is the only human (male or female) alive that can sing in 6 octives. Not to mention in 4 languages too. He truely is nothing short of a music God. In your free time watch his entire concert called Mondo Cane. You'll quickly realize his genius. Then try his other bands. Tomahawk, Lovage, Fantomas and many more. He's the most requested musician to play with other professional musicians. Going down the Mike Patton rabbit hole is enlightening. Also, all the band's on the label Ipacac he owns are amazing......
Acid jazz carnival death metal with a profanely pointed sense of humor. Definitely an acquired taste, but everything Mike Patton touches is genius, and it all started with Bungle. I won't lie, I absolutely love this album and Squeeze Me Macaroni is a classic. Essentially an acid jazz freakout that reframes gluttony as pornography, with Mike spitting obscene tongue twisters about Betty Crocker and Ronald McDonald, and making the occasional Mike noise.
WANNA SEE SOME SHIT!¬!!!! STRAPPING YOUNG LAD - HAPPY CAMPER!! YES DEVIN TOWNSEND HIMSELF WHEN HE WAS A YOUNG LAD OFF HIS BIPOLAR MEDS!!!! GET ON IT!!!
Hahaha. Forget about Faith No More and Angel Dust, you went straight to Mr. bungle. Lol
Right into the shit hahaha
@@Spthomas47 exactly. And here I was avoiding suggesting Something from Angel Dust. Lol

Bass is killing it. Fuck, they all killin it! ....im hungry
Sort of like Zappa meets George Clinton if they were both on speed
Thats perfect
And while Clinton was still really fucking deep in the LSD.
So Zappa and Clinton meet like on a normal monday
"Carousel" also by Mr. Bungle would be a great WTF Wednesday too.
I have been suggesting this everywhere!
Hell yeah bro its about time listen to this crazy ass song. Mr bungle is crazy.
The next song Carousel is also crazy fun. Mike Patton is great at experimental music. LOL I own this album.
Girls of porn next plz
Thank you for doing this!

huge bungle fan and glad to see a reaction to them
Yes!!! Mr. Bungle has arrived!!
Been looking forward to Mr. Bungle. Now you know why.
Being lost is the point. Mr. Bungle is a celebration of silliness taken seriously and random association.

See the thing about mike patton the singer of mr bungle he has trained his vocal style all over the world his vocal range is mount everest status.
On this particular album this is probably the most extreme example of there music. The other songs are more structured, but all songs excellent. I would describe there music on this album as scary circus music. Keep it up man.
Fair play sir! I prefer "California" but it's all good and, as everyone says, congrats on "getting it" so well cos that stuff's intense
When this album came out, I could sing along with ever word of this. I've lost my skills now. Sad...
I got my cassettes taken for a week because my mom found the lyrics to this song.
"Its Structured in a way that makes you loose your mind" yeah pretty much Mr. Bungle😂😂
gold toward the end, good,
Mr. Bungle, one of my favorite bands of all time.
Tomahawk - God Hates A Coward

you gotta check out faith no more, mike pattons (singer of mr. bungle) main band!
faith no more - kidnergarten
This is their style, combining several genres within one song.
not MF Doom, but Mike Patton (the singer) collaborated wotu Rahzel and Del Tha Funky Homosapien
Bablo Biggins rahzel and del also make sense maybe even more for Del with the funk vibe
You're welcome, and the girls of porn from Mr. Bungle is another great selection from them.

Damn, MF Doom and a Bungle/Mike Patton collaboration would be freaking INCREDIBLE.

OH MY FUCKING GOD!!!!!!
You should check out General Patton vs the Xecutioners or Peeping Toms, which is another band by Mike Patton.
I literally have this album in my car in a cd player
You should check out other songs from that album. It's truly a classic.

Not to detract from Mike, but the Guinness World Records lists both a man and a woman that have greater ranges. Georgia Brown and Tim Storms.
