- I always get asked how I mix my skin tones when painting. Well, here you go! I tried my best to explain my thought process with this video. Honestly, I always end up mixing as I go, so I tried to organize this as best as I could. I hope you learn a thing or two about paint mixing and color theory.

Thank you for this video! I'm fairly new at portrait painting, and I have a question for you. In addition to mixing the correct skin color trouble, once I get it right, I never have enough mixed to finish my portrait! When I come back tomorrow, I can never get the exact same shade again. Do you have any advice?
