I think this might just be the most beautiful and tender thing you two have created, and Dan, it is so moving, thank you. I think of Steven listening to it too, and want to hug you both for the way you worked through an ending and made it a beginning with love. Last night I listened to the Jan Energy update and heard at the end that your marriage had ended, Lee. I had suspected it, but the confirmation triggered sadness, and I went to bed feeling rather sad.
I find myself grieving and crying as I listen to your song tonight for the first time. I'm not sure why. Was I living vicariously through you and Steven perhaps? I think I was hoping for "forever more" for you both even though a part of me believes your "letting go" is perfect.
I love the essence of you both and I'm sad for you both.

So many couples separate painfully but your song here shows there’s no need for that ( for holding on to angst for example, sadness will naturally be there but recognizing it’s for the better and just a change in paths can maybe help asuage it if only just a bit ) . Such wisdom shows through in this song and I bet so many know exactly what you mean by these words. I feel it’s just how life and love goes sometimes . I strongly relate to being kids once and changing , growing and healing as people . I think there’s a perspective shift sometimes when that happens and no one knows if their relationship will change in such a way as the two in the relationship recognizing they’re on different paths now or if they are simply overcoming a growth spurt .
