Not all Silvias/S-Chassis are made 'useless' or 'slammed'. Blame the USDM influence. And Silvias aren't picked to be drifted, they're already rear happy so it makes it suitable for drifting. Same thing with AE86s.

Truly sad to see the celica rpm limit at 8000. It does wonders to have it a little higher, such as I have witnessed in my celica t-sport. 8250 rpm limit truly does wonders for staying in the power zone. It really is crazy to see a cool celica like this with lower engine performance.
Ian Vital I'm not Japanese, but the most likely thing for it to be is the transmission Final Drive ratio. The only other things that use FD while referring to cars that I can think of are the 2007 Japanese Model Civic type R and the third gen RX7

It wasn't a pussy move. It's called smart driving. I do the same thing when my friend and I race our bikes on the local walking and biking paths. (concrete, not dirt) I block the inside lines and keep in line with him because I know my bike's slower and it's all over if he passes me. If blocking the inside line is a pussy move, then every professional race car driver must be a pussy in your eyes because they all do it.
maybe I shouldnt use "pussy move". I know theyll kiss them too to force em on a different line. it just funny. he knew what hr was doing thats why he giggled.
Mr. Iida can be a bit of a rough and nervous driver but he was a owner of a Panda AE86 Levin that had the TRD Group A 20v motor so seeing him home in a AE86 is normal for me. He was also part of the Mito Natto Racing street racing AE86 team along with Orido.

The BOSS S15 looks so good. And with that turbocharger inside the car it's one of the best and fastest cars in the Tsukuba circuit.

it has a close ratio box, so trying to strain it at 8250rpm all the time wouldnt make sense. at 8g in a rally the engine would last longer.
