they say they tried to make it not sentimental but in doing so, i would say this show was extremely sentimental because of how real their relationship felt
@@Karajorma it is rather sad that we can't have Carrie Fisher in anything anymore.. Tho I personally feel, they give her a nice send off in the 4th season...
I LOVE this show for the same reasons I loved Scrubs: there's no laugh track, because neither series NEEDS a laugh track; the writing is excellent and it's genuinely FUNNY. Imagine that.
Probably because every married couple has that exact argument at some point. Arguing that some particular show was the first to put it on TV sounds like the kind of thing that would also be a married couple's argument.
I can't deny that there are parts of Catastrophe that are well-written, but I can't get over the lack of diversity and how narrow-minded the characters are. The episode that was transphobic and offensive to sex workers is what tipped it over the edge for me, so I can't support this show any more.
IMO Catastrophe is one of the best shows of the last 10 years. Clever, quirky and never strays into conventional sitcom territory.

Rob Delaney is a treasure!!! So soooo funny!! Catastrophe is such a great show!
It's rather sad that they can't have Carrie Fisher in it any more. She was amazing every time she was on screen.

@@valastrix That's true. It would be touching even if you somehow didn't know the backstory.
Catastrophe is one of the funniest shows ever made.
rob is so loud and high energy and sharon just brings this sense of calm and composure
Hope so much they continue to work together! Possibly the best and funniest show ever! Would love to see the show continue in Boston!
LOVE THEM & THE SHOW!!!
PETER YOU BEAUTIFUL GLORIOUS MOUSTACHED MAN!! ❤️❤️😂😂
His name is ROB
So good and yet heartbreaking about Rob Delany's child's death.
all of sharon horgan’s shows are hilarious
only four seasons...sad. and with short episodes and short seasons its more like a miniseries. just wish I could watch these 2 for a longer series.
I binged this show in two days
Sharon Horgan is beautiful.
Now I want to see this show! Sounds hilarious. At least partly due to Seth's awesome interviewing skills! :). Thanks Seth!
Yianni Klimos it’s amazing
But the show ends. So is season 4 episode 6 the last episodes. This show needs to continue !

Just a heads up about the 'caps'; I'd use italics...but there ain't no italics to use on my keybd. So...yer stuck with caps. For emphasis. Ya know.
Catastrophe had an excellent pilot.
The entire show is really good
Catastrophe. Such a great show.
One of the best shows in Amazon!!! 💖💖💖
Couldn't watch it on Amazon Prime in India, so I watched it on Channel 4 rips!
In?!
The best show I’ve ever seen. Sharon Horgan is a genius.
Love you both soooo much xxx
Ugh will miss the show!
Sharon Horgan, is the wife you wished you’d married.
Watching this knowing this is what a grieving father painting over life looks like makes this a whole lot different.
Catastrophe kills Fleabag. How come the latter won at the Golden Globes?
@carol m I didn't like fleabag either. It also annoyed me that the lead writer made it so everybody wanted to have sex with her character, bit weird
Rob Delaney is the best
Love catastrophe and Sharon is soooo attractive.
rob is such a dilf now
Correct.
What show are they from? They never say.
Catastrophe...
season 4 of WHAT?!!!!!? hate this youtube editing of interviews...
Catastrophe
Catastrophe is the name of the series.
It must be more awkward for their loved ones that their show for the most part was them in bed together
both of them married unattraktive people. so that was their only chance of ever being in bed with an attractive person^^
5:18 the yoghurt debate convo was first done by Jim Gaffigan on his “Jim Gaffigan Show” a few years ago..and it sounds nearly verbatim.
Probably because every married couple has that exact argument at some point. Arguing that some particular show was the first to put it on TV sounds like the kind of thing that would also be a married couple's argument.
I think you'll find that it was stolen from me and my wife when we had that argument in 1956. [sarcasm]
@T BZ - earlier done by Gaffigan, maybe, but **first** done? Probably not.

What episode was that? 🤔
Then comedy isn't for you. The irony of you calling the characters narrow minded 😂
“...support...”? You mean “...watch...”
That has to be a joke : )
Doesn’t she hate everyone in the show.
