Rode this after being inspired by this video. This is one of those rides that feels truly epic. Had no idea we had stuff like it in Northern California. I'll be back!
I've only been on this trail once about 3 years ago and I really enjoyed it! Thanks for including the climbs on this video. It made me miss this trail A LOT! I want to check this trail out this weekend since the weather is slightly cooler.
Yes!! An absolute favorite trail for sure. The volcanic rock and pines and smells- this trail ranks in my top 10 favorites in the Bay. I hit one of the single track splits toward the bottom and ended up in that vineyard on the left. 😁🚵🏼♀️💨
Rode OHM for the first time today after heavy NorCal storms all week. First of the all, that is one fun ride - thanks for the video inspiration - but it really holds up to the rain as well as any place in the areas.
As soon as the weather calms down, and I can go do a few Mix Canyons to get back in shape, I want to go ride this. Found it on MTBProject and you recommended it here, so it has to be fun.
Man i just found your channel today- and im stoked to see some of the Northern California trails you have hit! Absolutely some of the best long rides in the area, just sad i found your channel after moving from Sonoma County 😂
Cool stuff. I really enjoy your older videos. It’s cool seeing the Bay Area and Bay areaish trails in your vids. I grew up out in Moraga California in the east bay.
Oh and if your looking into getting a new bike any time soon I would suggest the Norco Range or Sight! its a Canadian company which means its built to handle some pretty gnarly terrain yet still has amazing climbing capabilities.
+Liam Simms I rode the Range when I was in Whistler a few weeks ago and it was sweet! I have a video on my channel about it. Too many good bikes out there!
Congrats man!!! 1k subscribers now! it's gonna keep growing man for sure. Nice trail and pretty good for starters as well. Keep it up man. Too bad you wouldn't able to review your SB66.
Starting from about 10:35 would be a great FeiyuTech advertisement; their Gimbal was working great here. I am curious about your audio: is the voice-over recorded in the GoPro, or do you record it as a separate track back "in the studio". Congrats on 1k subs!
I just looked at the Strava and it says 8% grade. Even though the trail is kinda wild it's graded like a road, so it has a very smooth elevation profile. It's worth it, you just take breaks along the way!
Heck Yes!!!! I also heard of a hidden trail there called "The Rainforest Trail" don't know if you heard of it? but its right before you pass the bench on the peak of South Burma Trail.
+BK-XC I usually like to ride from my home in the Hula Valley up to the Golan Heights in the East or Naftali Mountains in the West.. loves the dishon vadi a lot like this track. Ride along the Jordan River. Rides in a minimum of two to four hours and more than an average of 50 kilometers. Especially loves Enduro. Sorry if my english is a little weak
Really enjoying your videos! Great content. How is the gimbal holding up for you? The shots look incredible when compared to a standard GoPro shot. Thanks for sharing your adventures, I look forward to seeing the next one!
+William Hodges Thanks William! The gimbal is doing OK. I have put a ton of hours and miles on it and it's starting to be a little weird. I'm hoping to do a long term review very soon.
Cant wait for your new vids to come. This one was great as usual.....bit scary I thought. Brilliant news that you've got 1k subs. I shall just keep watching as I have from the start. Think your Dads bike will soon be wrecked....you'll have to buy two new bikes then. Des P.
hey bro I love your vids! its amazing that you doubled in subscribers within 3 weeks!! Sorry to here your bikes were stolen : ( But you just have to move on and keep up the good content!
Thats why we are not making front deraillieurs.... Nice one! xD Whatever Sram..... Well i just started running 1 x11 setup and a have to say it's amazing!
Nice ride dude , I tried the 5010 today size L it's awesome , they wanna give £1500 part exchange for my 2015 tall boy so that's my plan , save a bit more and get me a 5010 ,,,,,!,,,,,,
It’s a great trail but it gets a bit sketchy close to dark. Last night I was on my way down. I was two miles from the trail head when I passed four guys Cheech and Chonging it going up with no flashlights or packs. I had just passed three interesting characters talking up high on a rock. Not sure what these individuals are doing up there after dark 2-3 miles from the trail head. Hoping they don’t start a campfire as it’s dry up there as my exgirlfriends cooch...
Good trail for beginners?! Are you crazy!? That trail is a perfect to instantly turn beginners off of mountain biking, or even worse get someone hurt. Just because it's out-and-back doesn't make it a beginner trail. Nice video otherwise.

Nice, I haven't taken that split yet!
really like that you included bits of the climb and not just the descent. enjoyed this vid. thank you.
Rode OHM for the first time today after heavy NorCal storms all week. First of the all, that is one fun ride - thanks for the video inspiration - but it really holds up to the rain as well as any place in the areas.
Yes! That really is the best part about it being so rocky. I've gotta get back out there.
As soon as the weather calms down, and I can go do a few Mix Canyons to get back in shape, I want to go ride this. Found it on MTBProject and you recommended it here, so it has to be fun.
It's really good! Holds up in the wet as well.
Same :)
This place is awesome I love taking the high line on the climb too. Check out some of the trails that shoot off the main one they're all a blast!
I have never explored the different off shoots! Gotta get back up there soon.
I have a video on my channel of one of them feel free to scope it
let me know when you come so we can ride together man!
Man i just found your channel today- and im stoked to see some of the Northern California trails you have hit! Absolutely some of the best long rides in the area, just sad i found your channel after moving from Sonoma County 😂

A prescient comment

Thanks! I just talk while I'm riding, the naked GoPro in the gimbal picks up everything unless it's really windy.
Congrats on 1000 subs!
Thanks, man!
Loving the videos and bike reviews! Any chance you might review the Yeti SB 5.5c?
+Brett Surber Looks like the Yeti demo fleet isnt coming back to California this year. But if I get on a Yeti the 5.5 is the top of the list.
I did this today, and I can tell you that is the best enduro trail in the area
Fun! Looks like a tough climb though. About how steep is it? I don't know if I could do a 1 hour climb lol
I just looked at the Strava and it says 8% grade. Even though the trail is kinda wild it's graded like a road, so it has a very smooth elevation profile. It's worth it, you just take breaks along the way!
have you tired Annadelle State Park? its really good for all types downhill cross country. I go there everyday of the week.
Yes! Definitely on the list to make a video about it. Love that Lawndale Trail.
Heck Yes!!!! I also heard of a hidden trail there called "The Rainforest Trail" don't know if you heard of it? but its right before you pass the bench on the peak of South Burma Trail.
Oh wow, no I haven't heard of that trail.
What a super fun trial!
Just the kind of trial that i like 😄
It's definitely one of my favorites!
+BK-XC
I really like hard long climbs.
And after that a quick technical down hill 😄.
I love to feel my bike absorbing the rough terrain 😄😄😄
It really is the best. What's your favorite ride in Israel?
+BK-XC
I usually like to ride from my home in the Hula Valley up to the Golan Heights in the East or Naftali Mountains in the West.. loves the dishon vadi a lot like this track. Ride along the Jordan River. Sorry if my english is a little weak
Your English is just fine, dude! That sounds awesome. When I plan my trip to Israel you're going to have to be my tour guide.
Really enjoying your videos! Great content. How is the gimbal holding up for you? The shots look incredible when compared to a standard GoPro shot. Thanks for sharing your adventures, I look forward to seeing the next one!

New Santa Cruz colors are out!!! What do you think???
Pretty awesome timing, brother! Stay tuned 😉
That looks stunning
It's one of my favorites!
awesome you are reviewing local trails in northern california.
Yep! Everything in my backyard.
I have a nice carbon cross country bike that I take on technical stuff at controlled speed. Not bombing downhill. Possible here?
Yep
Cant wait for your new vids to come. This one was great as usual.....bit scary I thought. Brilliant news that you've got 1k subs. I shall just keep watching as I have from the start. Think your Dads bike will soon be wrecked....you'll have to buy two new bikes then. Des P.

Hey Liam, thanks for the love! The growth really is crazy, but I think it means people are starving for these videos. I appreciate it, man.
Stuff-a-roni is the Calistoga treat. Ha! Did no one else catch that?

Sounds good! 5010 is SOLID.
No disrespect but your fork always seems to be so hard...
Good job on the vids!
Have you tried to substitute Honey Stingers with Bananas? Seems like right up gluten free alley..
Good call!

1000 subs!
Yeah baby! You've been here from the start, thanks dude.
+BK-XC wow that was quick reply np man

i crashed into that tree at 10:36 in the middle
One of the best!
It’s a great trail but it gets a bit sketchy close to dark. Last night I was on my way down. Hahaha, you have a way with words
Good trail for beginners?! Are you crazy!? That trail is a perfect to instantly turn beginners off of mountain biking, or even worse get someone hurt. Just because it's out-and-back doesn't make it a beginner trail. Nice video otherwise.
Haha, I disagree. I went up when I was a beginner and you just walk what you can't do.
But you're right, it's certainly not for someone who is a "day one" beginner, but more trying to stretch themselves from beginner to intermediate.
