They are trying to copy the Call if Duty Hub; the very thing i hate about Call of Duty; it just makes it over complicated and convoluted. It also shows their intent on making all their future Assassin Creed games not installable right off the disk; as you have to install it through this portal i bet, even if you iwn the disk version. If i can't own the game; they can't own my money.
@CrADrafgo I want tp stress it can be played offline, but only after you've installed it which you do have to be online for. But you're right, an online service isn't guaranteed, and if/when that ceases, you are left with a game you can't install, which is useless, which goes against the whole point of physical. These companies are essentially trying to fool people into thinking they own the game and ability to install it, but what they are actually getting, is a download disguised as a physical product. I actively avoid buying games that do this, as i feel that strongly about it.
The idea is cool but the result is kind of lame. For projects instead of making regular daily mission they should make sample missions for possible future AC settings, like that French quest in AC rogue, it's enjoyable for the players and can help Ubi find out which setting is the most popular
Okay… where’s Assassin’s Creed Jade? 🤔

I agree. If I can't play the game offline, I don't own the game. Why buy it then? Internet won't always be a guarantee.
