I have purchased the 2024 on pre order, and now that I can use 2024, this was my best decision to confirm that 2020 today is amazing, mainly with all the addons that I have (aroun additional 400 GB of addons). At this moment I have unistalled 2024 and my decision it to keep using my great 2020. In 1 year I will review this decision, but at this moment, as a FLIGHT SIMULATOR, 2020 is much better. 2024 is great as a WALK simulator (at least).
Yup, I am one of them. London Looks awesome in 2024. New York looks nearly same! but NY is still the most demanding scenery for my system, so i generally test in there 😃
I too bought 2024 on preorder. I a lot of ways I felt 2024 was a downgrade. I have a ton of money invested in Addons for 2020 ! I am currently awaiting a refund from Microsoft. I will probably wait about a year and then maybe give it another go but as for now I’m very happy with 2020
@@paulofernando7858 MSFS2024 has Career mode for gamers. For us simmers, at least for me, better hardware usage and according to Microsoft/Asobo they finally updated everything which means no old FS engine limitation. Downside is, I don't think it is 100% for release (yet).
@@AOZ67well, doesn’t seem the case when looking at this video. Utilising all cores in a much better way should resolve all these stutters and ultimately increasing the fps. Performance seems to be worse. I stick to MS 2020 up until I see heavy performance improvements.
@@KatharinaRudi I am doing another video since i am not satisfied with this video. Re-installed both simulators to make sure I have the out of the box default software. This time, i will add DLSS and Framegen for Max Preset as well. I have been using same MSFS2020 installation since the release (it has its own NVME drive). NOw It is so strange because in some cases MSFS2020 is performs better, looks better. In some other MSFS2024 is better. Sometimes, MSFS2024 performs better but looks worse... 😒
I have a intel core i7 rtx 4070 8gb vram 32 gb memory gaming laptop and im getting 50-60 fps at same settings but on 2k resolution. And msfs 2024 is running smoother. Idk what is happening..
AA is off in this video, without frame gen, or DLSS i dont think you can get that FPS even with 2K preset in New York (i generally choose NY as it is one of the most demanding scenery). I believe you will run out of VRAM? Please double check, and if you really get 60 fps over Manhattan with ULTRA and AA off then there was something wrong with my game when i recorded this. Anyways i did new video with fresh install both sims. Hopefully they will serve better than this. I would do some tests with 1080p and 2K but no point since my CPU is 5900X and i will be CPU limited. I just stay 4K where CPU matters less and generally limited by GPU.

Totalmente de acuerdo con UD 😊
2024 is great for GA and bush flying
@@g_pazzini I'm now enjoying the Career Mode. In fact in terms of graphics 2024 is superior and will be the future.
Thanks for the comparation. I think I will stick on my 2020 for a few years
Does it bother anyone else that they still are using the same 3D Scan of New York from 2014 which is missing so many new buildings?

The Picture of 2024 looks more blueish, 2020 is rather warm.
Yeah they changed the atmosphere lighting model... The new one is definitely more bluish. I notice that a lot on the clouds tint
wow...same picture quality almost double GPU usage but 10 to 20% less FPS

Why Microsoft lunch a new simulator, after so many hour with updates to fix issues in MSFS2020 ? I´m happy with MSFS2020 not CTR.
CASH GRAB
Whats the point of 2024 actually? All the stuff 24 has could be done in 2020.
It uses more of your system, so you can heat your room with your pc in the winter.

Упор в процессор.. Такое надо проверять на 7800/9800х3д

graphics worse, performance worse..
