The women of “Married to Medicine” are back and serving season 10 realness. The ladies are all looking to make a fresh start with new friendship dynamics and putting old rivalries to rest.
Dr. Jackie is busy balancing her businesses and, with a special celebrity patient in their final trimester, she is working hard while also making time for family and friends as the peacemaker in the group.

Meanwhile, new friend Dr. Alicia is pivoting her career from dentistry to a full-time mompreneur. With so many life changes and drama at a fever pitch, will the ladies be able to get past the pettiness?

She needs to do some volunteer work, get a job, or something. She expects him to work all day as a doctor and come home and entertain her. She needs to have people’s lives in her hand daily and come home to him, then she would understand him.
Or at least make dinner . My grandmother raised 12 children and had dinner on the table for my grandfather at the end of the day . And she found time to do a little job on the side when the kids got older. Shows you can do it all .
Everybody has different wants and needs in a relationship. They have 2 different ideas of romantic time. Her wanting to go out on dates when she’s spending time with her husband isn’t a bad thing lol. Marriages often times fall into a rhythm and before you realize it all of your feelings are gone. Money isn’t everything and if she felt lonely while her husband was working 72+ hours a week last year that was a real feeling. Regardless of whether she works or not.
Everybody marriage will not. be the same you always here this talk of "I can do it all" No one can do it all and sometimes the family don't get affected, Toya has a right to want her husband to spend quality time together, they both have to sacrifice. Eugene has needs and wants as well they both need to compromise.

Toya is the most self absorbed person. I’m surprised Eugene hasn’t collapsed from working all the time.
I love Toya but she is the epitome of a woman who is never satisfied. She is a stay at home mother who plays tennis, shops and takes care of her children but that still is not enough. We all know they struggle financially so perhaps the stay at home dates are Eugene's way of saving money. At least he is home. She needs to learn to be more appreciative of the lifestyle her husband works so hard to give his family.
For a doctor i can tell you that most of us our idea of a nice time is just to lie down in front of the tv with food and drinks! Just the thought of doing nothing can be a form of enjoyment /relaxation to us. Sometimes just the thought of lying in bed the whole day in our pjs is just what we crave. Toya needs to appreciate that man more; Eugene is an Angel!
Because she wants those she considers beneath her to struggle so she can enjoy her blessings. She is one of those people.

Not when one is a surgical doctor, who works long hours and is expected to be in lover mode when he gets home, while the other, sits around, ordering staff tj do things and then saying they’re doing something. That shit is bound to cause resentment and loss of romance. She needs to understand that, as the person with the less responsibility, it’s her job to keep the romance alive, especially when the husband is working to give you the demanding lifestyle you want.

My brother works full time and has primary custody of his kids. Raising kids is hard, but I know plenty of people that work (full time) and raise their kids. She's not doing anything special.

Hearing Toya, I do feel her but I also think that she has to evolve. Her husband has evolved since the early years of their marriage and I think there's a need to recognise where they are in their journey. Rather than expect the things of yesterday, things that were done because his time and energy was available, I think she needs to also adapt and be creative with the season they are in.
He seems tired even sitting there at the table. Doing a job where you are constantly exchanging time for money is relentless and I can't even imagine the type of hours he has to put in.

10 years of this nonsense with Toya! My husband and I were watching earlier seasons and I was saying if he were a Dr working all day or night, soon as he comes home I would tend to him, put him to bed, go hang out by the pool with the kids or go hang out with my friends... whatever I want to do. I would like to see Dr. Eugene and Toya have a few scenes of marital therapy sessions. Toya made some valid points. Sounds like Dr. Eugene really catered to Toya & perhaps she became "spoiled" as a result.
I think there are some other things brewing beneath the surface as well. Folks criticize Toya about being a housewife but being one IS work; just without a paycheck. Children need as much stability as possible & it's a blessing for her or any other wife to be "home" with and for their children.

Im a nurse and i work 12 hour shifts overnight, sometimes i have to pick up shifts and do OT. My s/o is very supportive, he does not complain, we live together so he watches my other 4 children that arent his and our baby that we have together when im at work and i watch her in the day when he works. Yes im exhausted having to work all night come home and watch our daughter and get my other kids off to school but we help each other. We take turns cooking, we serve each other, etc

I’ve been watching the old seasons and Eugene is still working hard. I wonder if we’ll get to see the children graduate before M2M comes to an end.

Also they both have different love languages. Eugene's love language is acts of service (always cooking and will do hair etc) also quality time.
Toyas love language is also acts of service (loves being a mom) but her main love language is receiving gifts.
Eugene took Toya's hair out and wanted toya to accept that as a date, but quality time is not her love language.
Now if somebody tell jackie she's a barren anorexic they'll be wrong. The lady has not eaten one time on this show, and I bet Eugene family can't stand Toya.

Toya should orchestrate the romance if that's what she wants. Like. . . take and keep the lead until he can lead again. Why is that a problem?

Toya isn’t wrong about wanting to keep their relationship alive. You have to keep dating your partner. Of course he’s not going to wanna go out every time he’s off but it seems as if he’s made not going out with his wife a normal thing.

This woman has been criticizing this man since day one of this show! It's like he can't ever do anything right! It is so sad to see her berate him like this season after season. Last year she talked about his pee pee's size. It was very uncomfortable to watch. He works all the time bc of her spending habits true, but he is probably just staying away from her.
This was a great conversation. I like that Toya speaks up without disrespecting Eugene, and that he “eventually” listens. Stepping out of the house when you’re always there is a necessity.
If Eugene don’t start standing up for himself, Toya will destroy his life, drive him crazy or to an early grave. I feel so bad for him however he is her enabler

Not at all, until she works just as hard as he does, she’ll never understand. It’s not that he doesn’t want to do these things, he can’t because not only is he exhausted, but he has to keep those boys in private school and accommodate Toyas lifestyle.
Eugene you need to separate from Toya for a good month because she doesn’t appreciate you. She works on this show for 3 months a year, makes a cute coin and doesn’t realize that the rest of the world actually goes to work everyday and is tired as hell lol
