"Mountains Remain": Excerpt from the 2024 MAD Festival

ID: Six dancers with and without disabilities move through several short excerpts inspired by Haiku poetry. It begins with four dancers doing a gestural phrase in five counts or seven counts in contrast to the eight count music. Next, the dancers are in partnerships in duets reflecting ink dripping down pages. This is followed by four dancers using movement to illustrate a haiku poem. The excerpts end with two trios in identical, transposed movement.
