Powerman is so humble sitting on all those experiences and rubbing shoulders with all those artists. This is truly how iron sharpens iron, because the great relationships in reggae music was what help build reggae and made it great across the world. No man is an Island, bring back the love inna wi music. Teach Dem, continue to reach dem. Powerman big up
I know of power man but never knew he was soooooo relevant inna dancehall. Jamaica have too much talent. I learn suh much from dis video teach dem! It's a shame suh many of the artist dat he used to par wid and mention drop out before time. Based on what he said he is very talented because alot of artist build a hype off his talent. On top of dat he get a lot fight from the great king jammings and steelie. Rough journey. Great video teach. What he said inna the last part about art and craft was very profound. 🤔
Respect for this Teach. I really love learning about and understanding the journey of what I called the “creative” artiste. People like Doolas, Powerman etc people that are writers and curators of style and who don’t often get the credit they deserve. Powerman was an innovator that was literally powering early 90s dancehall with his style and words and that should be known and respected. And I really always wondered why Power wasn’t bigger and now I know why. Big up for shining the light on this Teach. Would love to a Wayne Wonder episode along these lines! 🫡
This interview very informative and funny at the same time power man make laugh when him go to steely n whisper say a him name power man 😂😂😂😂😂😂 man say him parents did lazy dem only had 2 children lol 😆 😂😂😂 on a personal level power man save my life in constan spring 1 night thats how we became real friends

🇯🇲🇯🇲 Bigup Powerman, experience deep. The little maaga yute who did know the mic was going to save him from the pitfalls of the ghetto. Too bad whatever impact or niceness most young, deprave ghetto superstars many will fall by the wayside having in later years nothing to share but memories of what use to be ,could’ve been but never was. As Powerman so aptly put it a small pittance from a producer, highway robber like Jammys is only enough to “ give mama something” and buy food for the rest of the week. Hail up Powerman Bredda, mi brethren Noel (slim ting)days of the struggle were real, Station Road, Excelsior Biscuit Company was then the fork in the road to decided your music destiny.
Big up to the Big man power man nuff respect. Big up teach , it's so enjoyable to listen to each and every artists journey it's like putting each link to the chain mi love the history. Big up u and the team, keep putting in the good work Jah bless.
