I really love the ‘informal, 2 friends sitting and having a catch-up’ setting. It really makes us feel a part of your conversation and it’s very endearing. I’m looking forward to many more future guests. 👍
Celebrities... as people. People who react, well or otherwise, like everyone else. I once worked with a dear old Maori fellow, half-Spanish, who worked the clubs in the UK, sang with Sammy Davis Jnr and Shirley Bassey, and did a few movies. His greatest claim to fame, as he said, was that he came between Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor... when pressed, he would admit that, as Antony's captain of the guard, he stood *between Burton and Taylor* on set. Gerry, since departed, was a warm, lovely man who could suddenly Turn It On, double in presence, Shine(!)... and then be humble, quiet and lovely - which is how he described Burton. Not Burton the star, not Burton the voice, but the Burton who, finding the extras playing cards between sheds (and takes), would quietly ask to join in. Gerry had very kind words for the person of Burton, because he saw the person, relaxed with the person. These chats, Rob, give us a glimpse of people. And it's not only fun or lovely or joyous to witness, but it's important to remember that there goes a different 'me', another person, full of personal weirdness and embarrassments. As an actor (tiny in the scheme of things) and as a caricaturist, I love the moments of human grace that I've been privileged to glimpse. Thank you, Rob, for the opportunity of more. How lovely is that? - cheers, Nigel
I really loved you two on big fat quiz! Rob and Dave is one of my all time favorite teams. I still rewatch them frequently and you guys makes me laugh every time! You two are so talented :)
I always wonder this too! The 'professional' content isn't getting anywhere near the realms of some of the stuff I watch. They'll need to start sorting through unsolved murders!
Brilliant. These two just seem to act as the perfect foils and what great stories. Admittedly, Walliams is a little strange but a great writer and a competent actor. What a shame he and Matt Lucas have fallen foul of the Woke Police but we still enjoy their work!
Listen... Rob. I am not sure what industry you're in but you must learn to get the volumes right. I was struggling to hear this guest of yours (can't remember his name, I believe he's a swimmer). Oh, and we are not meant to see the clapper. Do you know anyone in showbiz who could help you? With proper guidance, you may just crack this.

why can't I find this episode on spotify?

This is the kind of banter we are missing tv these days
Two lovely funny, and very talented guys! So enjoyable to watch. Thanks Rob.

That's a really satisfying comment to read. Thank you for taking the time to write it, it was an interesting story.
Love these two together
Two of my favourite people. Thank you
Enjoyed the full episode on Spotify. Thanks Rob & David
Please do another of these with Steve Coogan. I feel like I haven't seen him in anything in a while and you two are delightful together.

I could do this for another minute... minute and a half 🤣❤🤣
David is awesome! Loved his autobiography and Little Britain!
So funny, "the naked James Bond" story would blow your mind, in a lovely way. Great stuff, thanks for sharing it Rob.
Rhod Gilbert would be a great guest
He'd blast through the poor sound
Rob! "you're vulnerable with your obesity." That's some rough teasing. You're both lovely men.
Fabulous! Thanks for posting 🤣
I reckon all the best performers on TV like Rob & David are good actors
I'm such a fan of you both!! I must admit tho, David is the ultimate spunk!!
Great episode again! But please have someone look into the sound levels - they always seem to be off :)
Love it😁 Was wondering when Mr Walliams would make an appearance 🙏
Worst luck
Rob - you have that bloody great microphone and yet the sound quality is always dire?!
Also - do a sound check with your guests....please!
Come on, it's fine.
@@g-r-a-e-m-e- No it isn't, it's shite.
Love this channel but the sound mix always seems off.
Dream team 🥰
Why is this full episode missing off of Spotify? I just found this podcast and can't find this one!
Love this video
I'D GO OUT WITH DAVID IN A MINUTE !!! ( knowing he'll never see this !!! LOL❤️❤️🌹❤️❤️
I can't help but notice that the Brydon billing is twice the size of his guest.
a wise move imo
Great show as per usual. Rob can I ask you what you've got on your feet?
I think they're felted wool slippers.
@@BG-il2ym very nice!
I believe he favours the longer sock these days.
Nice slippers Rob!
How have you not got more subscriptions/thumbs up/comments with all the utter crap UA-cam that get more 🤔
One of my fave comedians Rob 🙌🏻
I always wonder this too! The 'professional' content isn't getting anywhere near the realms of some of the stuff I watch. They'll need to start sorting through unsolved murders!
I would love to see Rob interview Bernard Cornwell? I think Rob would do a great chat…

h, Roger Moore on WILTY would've been DELIGHTFUL!
Thought it was Jimmy Kimmel in the preview image.
WILTY colleagues to the show!
That obesity line was killer man.
Hi Rob sand rabbit my self where as your a baglan boy I understand i got an mbe sometime as you had obe our town dont do to bad lol
Lovey darling
Just goes to show any no talent can do anything in life, so thanks for that David
Walliams needs a mike.
Did you arrange to wear matching watches or is it just a remarkable coincidence?
Is rob wearing a wig or has he had hair replacement therapy?
Surprised how boring David is. Couldn’t hear what he was saying
This guy's still around?

Ouch! But you're dead right about the sound. I think the clapper bit is deliberate, haha!
Two fond friends poking affectionate fun at each other. What if one of them had been offended? Haven’t they read the rules of woke?
