Just goes to show that music is not prejudice. 👍
Love them I'm grilling and listening to them right now 😊😊😊
I'm 66 ,Japanese,I listen Chicago music every day !😊❤
Souless without Terry Kath. Anything after Chicago III is just trite pop,
Almost 70 years old and when I hear Chicago I am a 18 years old again. ..
Exactly!
Not 18 but a few (?) years more. I'm several years your senior.
me too
Haha heck yeah man 👍👍
Well, I was about 50 yeas younger.... It feels great!
The best!!!!! Doesn't matter how old you are. My daughter is 28 and we listen to this over and over again. One of our faves.
I am 66 years old and a like Chicago since I Was a Child. Great band, beautiful music forever 👍👏

My daughter's all time favorite group. She passed away in 2014 at the age of 43. I remember her playing Chicago all the time, we loved them together,. Putting them on the stero and dancing in the front room. I loved them too. I now play them for sentimental reasons, ,Chicago I now play to remind me of her. I love and miss you my sweet daughter. Chicago's songs listening to them reminds me of all my loving memories of you. You were so happy then and very loving. God bless you my daughter, mom loves and misses you so much.
Hugely sorry for your loss. But thanks for sharing, your courage in sharing as it can't be easy. My youngest daughter and I had a trip to Yellowstone park and we listened to Chicago's greatest hits and since then Chicago is that musical bond between us. Music does bond us together and Chicago is one of those bands that when you hear them, it immediately takes you to a place. Again, sorry for your loss, but I understand the bond you have and wanted to share mine as well.
Prayers for you 💘
Similar to losing my brother to cancer, he turned me on to Chicago in 1969, he played trombone in the HS jazz band. I was playing bass at the time (still do) and got attached to Ceteras bass and vocals. Good memories.

To anybody reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the dark thoughts, the overthinking, and the doubt exit your mind may clarity replace confusion. may peace and calmness fill your life.🙏
Thank you 🙏 I needed to read that!
With all due respect, I’m pretty sure that about 90%+ of humanity would agree with your claimed intention to bring inner peace to any and all of mankind. I can’t put my finger on why, but somehow your comment seemed so desperate and like the proverbial “red herring”, was meant to obfuscate your own inner malevolence, which would be ONE reason why your comment seemed to cheapen the ideal of goodwill towards all of mankind. Sorry. May peace be with you.
@@andrewhigdon8346 Your comments were not taken in vain but it's the originality you espout. You have called an ace an ace and a spade a spade.. Another trait, common in everyday life

Same to you 👍
Praise God
I’m 75, first saw them in ‘75. Love ‘em!
I'm turning 75 and l still get chills from hearing Chicago! From Waukesha area but had a sense of pride for the only Rock pop band to use brass instruments from the heart ❤️ land ! Thank you Chicago for one of life's pleasures !
I'm 71 and feel the same
Unfortunately I've waited too long to see the originals in concert.
Chicago will always be in a class by themselves. Exceptional musical magic and talent!
At 53 my friend, I only hope I can catch up on all the greats that came before. No matter what style you like, no better than a talented band. I only wish Terry Kath made it this far, but I guess it would be too Bill and Ted's? Just too good, to close to heavenly.
Saw Them at Cerritos Performing !!! Wow !!!
Ditto Ditto Ditto
I am 68 from Shorewood. My favorite of the era.
Never get tired of listening to them
I am 65 years old and love Chicago seen members come and go. No one is better than Terry Kath. God bless Robert Jimmy and Lee are still with us in our original members.❤
I've been listening to Chicago since I was 16 years old 50 some years ago awesome 😎
Patricia Fisher 5493 yeah Patricia you know your music don't you girl Chicago is the greatest and they always will be they've had a lot of great hits one right after the other girl 🎸🎶🎸🎶🎵🎶🎵🎸🎵🎶🎵🎵🎸🎸🎸🎸🎵🎶🎵🎶🎸
Listening to CHICAGO in live concert is awesome with all that BRASS 🎺🎷🎸🎹🥁🎤🎷🎺🎸🥁 and INSTRUMENTS with singing.
I just went to their concert in Las Vegas Feb 21. 2024 at the Venetian Theatre. As usual, They always have an amazing performance. I loved this band.!Their music is timeless.
Lucky you!😮
I am speechless. Was listening while working. I am watching it now and am floored.
Iam 62 years old and I am colorblind and Chicago rocks big time never can get enough keep on keeping on I love yall 💗 xoxos
How about that us 70 year olds have great taste. Chicargo have been in my head throughout most of my life.
Chicago is a Classic Band that Never goes out of Style ! The Best by far ! 🎼 🎵🎶
CORRECT!
It has been almost 24 hours since I saw them.
Only complaint, whoever was mixing sound,
had the Chicago Brass section potted down
too much. They followed the Brian Wilson
band.
Kinda like Sandy Koufax (or Randy Johnson)
pitching a doubleheader. 2 bucket list items,
in 4 hours. (Sandy and Randy pitching a game
each, in a doubleheader?)

Ive been listening to this group since I was a child. now at 62 yrs old I still listen to them daily love their music
Yes, i agree
I ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ 💕 LOVE THE CONCERT AT GREEK THEATER!! ITS 👏 🙀 😯 AMAZING !!
I'm a 64 year old Black woman and I have loved Chicago since I was a teen. I grew up in Harlem and my sister and I listened to an array of music on the radio in our bedroom. Today I am a retired teacher who has a masters degree and I am a homeowner in an affluent neighborhood in New Jersey, but Iove my 70's music an my 80's music. These guys were true artists that I will never see again in my lifetime and I know that I am blessed to have grown up with these amazing artists. Not only Chicago, but the Bee Gees, Todd Rundgren, Steeley Dan, Ann Murray, Barbara Streisand, England Dan and John Ford Coley. I love Burt Bacharach, Elvis Costello and Barry Manilow too! I love my Black artists very much, but I have to pay homage to the White Boys who had so much soul and gave love and inspiration to my life as a young girl growing up in the 60's, 70, and 80's. I truly was best to have been exposed to beautiful music when music was worth listening to. They just don't make music like this anymore and they will never understand the feelin because the world was different. Music has nothing to do with race. Beautiful Music is UNIVERSAL and Transcends Time!

Not too many bands give you the chills. "I've Been Searching So Long" is over the top. Thank You Chicago for sooo many years of great
entertainment.
I agree with that.....
I can vouch for the chills. I felt it and nearly made a tear as I wondered how the music died, and we’re left with intolerable noise that makes me angry!
**********************I miss the music….**************************
only saw them one time~~~ Carnegie Hall !!! NYC early 70's Yeah!!
Yes❤️❤️❤️
But your Chicago fix is ready to bless you when you tune into Leonid and Friends from Russia with Love. find them on UA-cam. They are alive with Chicago tunes.
Listening to Chicago I must close my eyes and reminance. Terry Kath RIP
You can't think of Chicago without remembering Terry.

Good yes, but we know who are the greatest ever band who started the band era & it starts with 'B'.
Hi check out Leo and Friends, Chicago cover Band you will not be disappointed...
Is Chicago still playing and recording their great music? SYLVIA-FL
@@ChannelMaster720 yes was at a concert in Denver in 2018 they were amazing!! I saw them 40 years ago in 1978 in Portland!! They had lots of projects going still in 2018! Timeless!!
I completely agree, masterpiece after masterpiece, remembering the days when we would listen over the radio in the backyard on a Summer night, the best days of our lives.
I'm strolling down memory lane in Sept. 2022, listening to these classic soft rock bands. UA-cam has all the bands I use to listen to in the late 70s. Now thanks to the wonderful people that upload to share these classic groups. Now on to Journey, and Bon Jovi, , Eagles etc. Thanks again 👍🏾
I was introduced to
this band in 1973 by my host American sister during my exchange student year. Since this was the first year of the rest of my life, Chicago is the soundtrack of it. It's still today!!!!! Love you guys!!!❤ 50 years afterwards, you're still here with me down bellow the equator line.
Like the Eagles Chicago was well practiced, orchestrated every song to have both an emotional and musical appeal.
I am beyond 65 and still enjoy their music. It takes me back to my late teens and the young woman I loved so much! My youth exuberance and excitement for life. It is a nice break (Only the Beginning) but I got to get back to work.
same for me, back to younger years. Nice songs, great band!
My first Chicago concert. Was in love with their music ever since. The more I listen the more I recognize their superstar talent across the entire band. What other band has so many front men where they give each other the space to shine and they all shine so brightly.

I loved them before I went to a concert but after I was obsessed .. just fantastic beautiful music I can’t get enough
I was in fifth grade when Saturday in the Park came out! Even at that young age I recognized what a great song that was. I’ve been a fan ever since.

Thank you Chicago! You will always make me so happy! Nothing can destroy the love you continually bring to the entire world! Thank you!
Rare to have a composition of so many music professionals on one stage. Three gifted singers, some members being eloquent in more than one instrument, not one wrong sound, no long talking pauses between the songs, songs played very near to the studio version, wide spectrum of wonderful arrangements in each of the songs, just perfect music from the finest. Great musicians.
Bravo!
I must agree. This is a great group of very talented individuals!! The first time I saw them was 1972.
op
Couldn't agree more.
Robert lamm has such a great singing voice. Totally underrated. He can harmonize with anyone. I wish he sang more lead.
Without Terry or Peter, he needs some help.😎
My true intro to this excellent outfit is
“Live at Carnegie Hall”.
I got the vinyl set for my 15th birthday.
They Coloured my World.
Underrated? Seriously? He sang some of the greatest songs in my lifetime
This is just timeless music! Grew up with it and Chicago is one of the best - if not the BEST! All members with amazing talent! Thank you Chicago for all the great music!
Great concert, I do like the line up here... The time when Jason, Bill and Dawayne were in...the best period for me! Thanks so much for posting! ✌🖕🤟😺
Couldn't agree more - Dawayne's musicianship was awesome - and loved Bill and Jason...
This is my favorite soundtrack I watch it over and over again Chicago will never die
Chicago, The Eagles and Earth Wind and Fire are my favorite bands among many great bands.
Three of the best from the 70's...
You just said all my favorite bands Chicago the Eagles Earth Wind and Fire Let's don't forget about the Bee Gees Steely Dan Santana mandrill War ambrosia Kool & the Gang Player Tower of Power and the list goes on and on man when I hear that kind of music I'm in another world and I'm away from all of this mess up today they were Ground Breakers they were talented and they were about their craft and it shows outstanding just outstanding I will love them all forever and until I close my eyes😍🥰❤💞💯😎👍👍👍🙏
Add Tower of Power..
Growing up in the 70s with Chicago, got me through some great Love's I'm my life, and also broken hearts.

Love Chicago!!! A professional band, well worth the awards it has won throughout time! A jazzy rock band none other has ever been able to outplay or outlive with too many tunes to numbers all #1 hits. All professional musicians!!! ❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰
Well said!!!! Bravo!! Bravo 😁👏😊
THE BEST band in history of mankind. You will never hear any band this good for the rest of your life.
Simply Amazing! Still Listening in 2021.... Chicago Forever!
Scottie, I agree with you! I have and will always listen to Chicago, no matter who the band members are. Can those critical of this iconic group grab their instruments and sing on stage for decades after decades, 9-10mos of the year and perform as well as their 1st tours? I read somewhere Chicago hasn’t missed a performance. In sickness or feeling under the weather, the show must go on! Please do not insult the members who give their 150% on stage 😀 !
@@gingerwong3986 Amen Ginger, if you were Chicago band ember you've worked hard and played for s long time Unless you're a child prodigy who minored in Chicago the band and its music. I was a bit worried when I first saw the young guitarist until I got to the 3rd song and I resigned myself in to believe if Terry Ca ive log enough to be on stage with this version of Chicago h would most likely sound the same as this young shredder gone jazzman rocker . Still rocking to Chicago's Lullaby
@@wades_world_lederman_style Many ppl may not be aware these guys probably picked up their 1st instrument at 8 or 9 yrs of age & haven’t put it down since. Each lead guitarist has his own “style” & Dawayne Bailey was very different from Terry Kath. Both were excellent. I liked how Dawayne shredded his guitar & felt he brought youthfulness to the group. I feel with Jason & Dawayne, Chicago was at it’s tightest, but that’s my opinion ☝️. I’ll see them this summer with a whole new line up.
@@wades_world_lederman_style Hi Wade! I just saw this Iconic group- sat in the 2nd rowq & could count the guitar strings on their guitars. As you know, there was a new line up, and the new members will carry on Chicago’s legacy. Chicago did not disappoint & I throughly enjoyed the concert!

OMG I am so glad to find this concert on UA-cam!! I loved CHICAGO back in the day when i was in HIGH SCHOOL !! still lov e their music!!!

RIGHT ON
Saw them live. Pure excitement. Awesome performance
I was in the Air Force and stationed in Japan in 1971. I had the pleasure of seeing them in concert in Tokyo. Many years later I had the pleasure of seeing them perform at Red Rocks outside of Denver. Sounded the same. Great!!!
I saw them in San Antonio in 1969 way before technology in audio advanced. They played every instrument into microphones or amps and to this day I’ve never heard anything more sublime, just like the flautist seen/heard here. I was at many concerts during this time from Santana to Joe Cocker yet Chicago remained my favorite. I was a young petite girl so guys loved putting me on their shoulders dancing. Too much fun plus it made it possible to actually see the band instead of everyone’s chests lol. Absolutely amazing night.
Love, love, love this group. My all time favorite hands down! In addition to The Eagles, Doobie Brothers, Earth, Wind, and Fire. So many great memories.

One of my favorite bands of all time and thank you all and God bless you
I always loved "Chicago's" music with the brass players, guitars, drums, bass players, key board players and vocalists. I never knew any of their names, just knew they made great jazz, blues and rock and roll. Anyone who knew anything about music could sing, sway, dance or just listen to this colorful band's great sound. SYLVIA - FL
The horn section always orchestrates their sound to a full registration.
My all-time jazz band I knew all their names but forgot at age of 67. The comments just refreshed my memory on their names but one of the members died in the early 80,s I did follow them closely. Went to see them in Sun City middle 80,s. With late hubby of one year glad I finally saw them with him here regards from South Africa
I love it when Robert lamn songs lead on Chicago songs. He is my favorite Chicago musician and he is also an amazing piano player
My mom turned me on to Chicago when I was a kid and I still love hearing them it's music like this that gives me goosebumps!
It is now 2022 and I still love this group of very talented musicians. I could listen to them all the time. Their music takes me back in my life when things were very good for me. Love this group. Are they still together? SYLVIA-FL
I played Chicago t my children all their life. The last 2 concerts y 30 year old twin daughters took their husbands to? Chicago! I raised them well, I'd say! I'm still listening to this day. Their recording of the 1970 Tanglewood Concert is the tour where I saw them live for the first time. Have spent many evenings on the lawns with my babies listening to Chicago.
It's not the same band anymore. Half of the guys in this video aren't even in the band anymore. Bassist/vocalist Jason Scheff, keyboardist/vocalist Bill Champlin, guitarist Dawayne Bailey and drummer Tris Imboden all have left the band years ago. From what I've read online, sax/flute player Walter Parazaider is no longer touring with the band either due to health issues. So that's the lion's share of the band in this video no longer together. Only Robert Lamm (keyboards/vocals), Lee Loughnane (trumpet) and James Pankow (trombone) left with a bunch of newer musicians. Not to say that whatever current lineup wouldn't put on a good show, but it's largely a different group.
Listen to Leonid & Friends. They carry on the spirit of Chicago.... as Russians
Bill and Jason are missed.
Long live Chicago!
I am 74 and love it!
I am 63 and still love there music ❤❤❤
Last night I twitted and bragged about seeing Chicago in the 90's. Found out today they're doing a concert right down the street tonight. What a 😃 great coincidence
Jason Scheff was really in his prime here, bass wise and vocal wise. Champlin, on the other hand, was beginning to meander all over the place vocally. Lamm was his reliable self on the few songs featuring his vocal, and of course the horn section was stellar as always. Strange seeing Tris Imboden with hair after getting used to seeing him for so many years later slinging drumsticks with a shaved top. Time flies.
Hard-Core Chicago fan from the very "Beginnings". They never really recovered from the loss of Terry Kath, but other than throwing in the towel and calling it quits, they persisted.
I enjoyed Champlin's studio work with Chicago, but his "In Concert" performances became more and more about HIM and less and less about doing the job he was hired to do, which was to (as best possible) re-create the vocals and style that Terry's loss left them with. He more than "earned" his firing (IMO), esp as he became more belligerent and braggadocious about his refusal to even attempt to recreate Terry's style.
'' YES '' Just Absolutely Great Concert Found On '' UA-cam '' Thank's Alot !!
I didn't really discover Chicago until 1982 when I was age 18. It seems they had a 'comeback' then...with "Hard to Say I'm Sorry'..I will forever link that song with starting university and my first real 'love'. Peter Cetera was his own voice; and I followed him after the break up..some incredible music! But Jason Scheff is who I most remember as the voice of 'Chicago'. I'm 58, and this takes me back to some very good times; thank you! :)
When I first came across Chicago, in my teens, all I heard was the horns, and it turned me off, but when I revisited them in adulthood, I was hooked! Love them!
Fantastic Job!!..i was wondering how they could just keep going and going...what a concert..hit after hit..just amazing!
I've been searching so long,Jason sung it with a heart,so amazing, love it..congrats Jason for your wonderful performance for the whole concert..
I'm 63 and I love Chicago and I always will .
Gotta love how he dances w that bass
Dwayne Bailey's lead guitar tone is absolutely off the chain Killer! A truly gifted musician/vocalist who inspired many of us from the mid 1980's Wichita KS music scene. To this day, he's still a total Badass!!
Absofrickinlutely!
And Dwayne was kicked out by Robert. They didn't get along.

I love Chicago,, they were awesome when I was growing up,,In 1967 I was in the 7th grade,,I was playing guitar and singing out in front of people, chasing women, i thought i was a big shot, with my 4 cousins,,we played a couple of their tunes,,I still think Peter Cetera was one of the greatest singers Chicago had,,I played in several different bands growing up,,but those early years bring back so many memories of romances and great times,,back then was such a great time for music and different bands like Ambrosia, that could really harmonize, the Eagles,,with great harmony, even going back further, Johnny Rivers,,poor side of town,,Baby I need your loving,Daryl Hall and John Oates,, but Chicago really has stood the test of time, they're music will never die out,,neither will these other groups I named,,and I'm still playing the guitar,,messed around with the saxophone also,,
Those were the great times,.. we had great music, great bands, That Music will never die,...
Jason is a true vocalist!
“Chicago” - блестящая команда!!!! Потрясающая!!!!!! Браво !!!!
Спасибо Вам просто за т, что вы их любите! Это мой любимый бэнд! Особенно этот концерт! То что они сделали ни кому не под силу!
My wife and I of 47 yrs went our third date to see them in 1973 at pirate's world in Dania Fla. It had rained so hard that the floor seats were flooded and only 50 to 75 of us stayed and sat on the bleachers on the side close to the stage. They still played a full show for us in their wild new costumes. Terry was off the charts and so was Peter and all the rest. Never forget it. Love the originals and all who came after. 🙏 to your Dad. 💓
You saw Chicago with Terry Kath and Peter Cetera? That is so awesome! You're lucky 🙂. Wish I could have been around at that time!
Congrats on a long marriage My Wife and I are at 47 also.
Esta banda es realmente impresionante. La conozco de los años 80's, pero no fue hasta que me hice de sus primeros trabajos, y posteriormente casi toda su discografía, donde me di cuenta de lo fantástica que es su música. ¡¡¡Grande Chicago!!!
The best performance of Chicago! Jason on the top! Love it so much! OMG!
Yeahhhh its nice concert
I grew up with them and I still miss Terry, the best lead guitar, and his way to sing.
¡Extraordinario concierto! He visto muchos shows de Chicago con muchas de sus formaciones pero en este destacan todos, es perfecto. Y ni qué decir del guitarrista... un fenómeno!
Saw them here in Las Vegas earlier this year. They are the greatest! Love them dearly! Hope they come back in 2019! I will be there.
