Christ “died for all” (2Cor 5:14) and the price paid was enough for none to be lost. However, “offering himself once to take away the sins of many, he will appear a second time, without sin, to those who wait for him for salvation.” (Heb 9:28). You will only be saved if you are among those who “wait for you for salvation” (Heb 9:28), and this implies not being in love with the enemy. The sin of the world was resolved through the work of the cross, but everyone's sins must be forgiven. If it is true that on the cross Jesus died to take away the sin of the world, it is also true that there “he bore the sin of many” (Is 53:12), not of all. By believing in Christ, you will enjoy the same benefits promised to Israel in the new covenant: "I will forgive their wickedness and remember their sins no more." (Heb 8:12). But if you persist in unbelief, "there is no more sacrifice for sins, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and a fierce fire that will consume the enemies of God." (Heb 10:26).
