i have one problem , when i draw a trendline on the daily , and then i draw another trendline on the 4 hourly , i want to know how can i see them separately ? fore.g. the trendline on the daily should not show the trendline of the 4 hourly when i am on the daily , thanx ... u know depending on the timeframe , i see what i have drawn on that particular timeframe , hope my questions amkes sense ?
How can you change the volume bars at the bottom of the chart so display acual values of volume for each candle. You can't see weather they show 50k or 500k the way it is by default and the way u have it..
How do you apply the indicators to different timeframes. Let’s say I only wanted my MACD to only show on my 1h and 15m and not on my daily or weekly. How do I do that without hitting that little eye button every time I switch time frames?
Hey Noor, you can open two charts at the same time with different time frames, and apply different studies to it. That's one work around. You can also right click chart, go to drawings tools menu and uncheck "sync drawings to all charts" - but that may not affect the indicators. That's what I would try, let me know if it works. - George
Great video, do you use the BATS data and if so, is it good enough for day trading? Do you do all your charting, decision making through TradingView, then literally use Interactive Brokers etc to place the trade? Or do you use Trading view for scanning ideas and then watch the charts/L2 in Interactive Brokers etc. I'm still learning and in the process of chosing a charting software/scanner/broker platform etc
Hey K, I use TradingView for swing trading options longer term with IB, for more active day trading the charts on TV are too basic, so I use Sierra charts for order flow trading. Hope this helps, and let me know if you have any follow up questions. Have an awesome day. - George
Hi Sea Rae, I'm actually using a different tool that draws over your screen on any application, great tool for tutorials and webinars and it's called "Magic Pen". Thanks for watching and hope you enjoyed this video. - George
I have a question. I was messing around with the settings. I wanted to customize it to my liking. But soon I realized that the upper left indicator name is missing. I can't see the name nor the buttons for hiding it, changing settings or even removing it. They all are gone. How can I bring that back? I don't know what to do. Please help By the way, there's another question. I was looking for the user made indicators and saw one that combines several indicators. But it has a tiny red lock next to it. When I load it, it doesn't show anything. I think I need permision. How do they do that? and is there any way to use them? to go around the lock? I have the free tradingview account and the number of indicators is very limited. It's easier when and indicator combines BB and MA's and other stuff.
We can say creating custom slides means (Indicators). if you've gone through the documentation of trading view charting library there is a section of create custom studies. If you can explain that. That would be greate.
I am referring to Creating custom studies. If you can explain that section and create one that would be great. It will help us to clrearly undersatnd the charting library
Hey Olaedo! If you right click on your chart and select "Remove All Drawing Tools" that will get rid of all the drawings on your chart. Alternatively, you can right click on the chart and click "object tree" and that will bring up all the drawings on the chart so that you can delete them as you wish. I don't believe there is an option to batch delete drawings. Cheers - Mark
Another option is to hold control while you click all the drawings you want to delete - then let go of control and hit delete on your keyboard. :) - George
love the speed you go at it - quick and precise, perfect for short attention span folks.
Haha thanks Amy - I'm in the same camp as those folks lol. :) Happy you enjoyed the video, we got more awesome content coming.
thx , lets see next one:)
