One really important thing to note (for anyone viewing this in the future) is that instead of 10 to 20 mg of sample for 13C NMR, you can still use 1 to 5 mg and increase the D1 delay time from ~1 second to 10 seconds in the acquisition parameters!!! This will help you see quaternary and carbonyl carbons -- as the problem is typically not due to the lack of abundance of 13C in the sample but the slow dephasing/relaxation of these types of carbons. This is very important when you can't produce large amounts of your sample... for best results, leave this run overnight, and you will have great spectra if you include the trick about removing residual solvent as well.

Definitely good suggestion
Great to know these important tricks! Thanks for sharing this
You are welcome
very important videos vaiyya. Thanks a lot.
Can you please suggest how to remove grease residue in sample to get clear NMR.. in 5 mg liquid sample (dissolve in Petroleum ether)
Please watch the video. Then you will get the answer.
Sir, for 400mg sample to remove residual methanol peak how much mm Hg vaccum in rotary evaporator required? And how much time?
That you need to adjust with your rotavap
Thank you so much . Could please explain Mnova NMR . ?
