All Shotgun’s whether Air or Gun powder are meant to be a up close and personal experience for the target, not really for long distance. But it will definitely get their attention. I really love that Shotgun, now I want one!
@@shaneludwig4847 You can definitely expect better groups from a shotgun though. I just put the new barrel on for the follow up video, just waiting for the chokes to come in. My 870 would have an incredibly tight pattern at this distance compared to this. The barrel was rifled, im hoping the next video is much better with the smoothbore.
Dude is gonna take the whole head off. What i dont get is why bother w multiple projectiles when a single slug would prolly get better velocity and accuracy?
*Try putting 25 drops of non-newtonian fluid (oobleck- corn starch & water 50/50) on the shot. We use this trick for Geese hunting and the shot starts spreading out normally after it's about 250/330 feet out from the barrel. We get geese out to about 750' away with this tweak. It also acts as a SLUG for shooting bear at 300 Feet or less. Shot stays in one giant lump from the initial shock. NOTE: when you make the oobleck use 20% bleach in the water so the corn starch does not start to rot.*
Does this really work?? I mean like in a 12 gauge conventional shottie? I've been a long time waterfowl hunter and never have I heard of such a thing. Lol
@@357dayton *Non-Newtonian fluid (Oobleck) on your shot will give you 3X longer range but be warned if a Goose comes in too close you will blow it to pieces since the shot will be in one big mass!!! FOR LONG RANGE SHOTS ONLY! Yup! It really WORKS. It will cost you 2 bucks to try it out, what do you have to lose? Shoot a large paper target first so you can get an Idea of the spread pattern. Also make the 'Oobleck' with the exact same formula EACH-TIME or you get different results every-time. Just make sure you keep the gun powder DRY! I treat my shot about 2 minutes before shooting with a Syringe. If you want to make a batch of shells in advance you will need to open the shells and put the gun powder in a 2mil thick baggy heat-seal it and then reseal the shell after re-loading the shot with Oobleck. STORE and TRANSPORT THE SHELLS SHOT SIDE DOWN so the Oobleck does not run all over the primer for long term storage. Drip some hot wax over the stop of the shell to spot Oobleck from leaking out. I usually make them while I am reloading old shells. Good for those impossible 300 yard long shots LOL. Aim carefully! I use a green dot sight on the Weaver rail for these babies and it hits true and hard every-time! NOTE: Use in Semi-Auto shotguns only just in case you get a Oobleck barrel jam (I never had one yet). NOT FOR USE IN PUMP "gun powder" SHOTGUNS. TOO Dangerous, Over-Pressure danger with no way out!*
Thank you! I did a follow up to this where it performed MUCH better! ua-cam.com/video/pVoH0FxOWGk/v-deo.html I still have some work to do, but it was a big improvement.
@_AnAmerican_ Not really something I do often, but I will make sure to inspect the 72 cal smoothbore one thats coming lol I was probably too distracted from the video going over the swap.
The Corps of Discovery lead by Lewis and Clark carried one high powered air rifle to impress the tribes on the Upper Missouri. They killed big game with it. They never suggested it was the only one to make the tribes believe they were greatly armed.
I call BS. They carried an airgun because it’s easier to get air than it is to get Black Powder when you’re out exploring and there is no local Walmart. They could have been at the mercy of price gouging trader’s and possibly compromised in the process.
Cool. I learned something new today!😎 I have to wonder now what was used for air? My guess is piston setup..🤓 I have to remind myself that the world didn't start when I was born. Things did exist before the 60's.😅
Sodas???? Oh! Pop cans! Also, the OSB isn't "plywood" but it makes a good target. Lewis & Clark brought an air rifle with them on their voyage. It fired multiple rounds and impressed all the Indian tribes, who tried to trade for it.
I've had so many people say OSB isnt plywood that I had to look it up. Its considered plywood, but its definitely not a traditional "ply" wood. The Girardoni is pretty awesome, Id love to see a reproduction introduced
Dude!!! That thing is awesome, was surprised at how loud it is for an air rifle, and the recoil you took, for an air rifle!!! I just stumbled onto your vids, I had no idea these things existed, which is bad because now I want one. Cool stuff!!! I gotta see it with the bigger barrel, and that other one in full auto!!!
The 72 cal is one of the craziest things I have come across, haha. The Blitz will be a lot of fun to make a video on. Ive been doing Full-auto Friday shorts with it for a little bit, UA-cam cant make up its mind on whether or not they want to restrict my videos lol. PCP airguns are a lot of fun, tons of variety, budget options that still can hold their own. The range of power is incredible as low as 5ft/lbs or with a new release thats coming soon, 3000ft/lbs+
@@toxicmatrix1337 the thing about the blitz is that youtubers seem to love it and not run into many problems, but when you look at user reviews anywhere on the board, you get a whole lot of negative reviews.
@@thomasseeley8124 People ran into magazine issues when they first came out. I think thats been resolved. I have almost a dozen mags, all work flawless. The moderator is an issue, I think with how the blitz functions, it gets damaged over time. They recommend the DonnyFL Ronin and that you may need a new spring. I think the moderator puts excess tension on the spring and causes premature wear. Optics can get in the way just a fraction, it will not feed properly with the least amount of obstruction. If the mag touches the optic, its not going to work. Aside from that, I cant really think of much else. People run into leaks but thats pretty common, a gauge needs tightening, degas screw, etc.
Dude!!!I I am a shotgun loader been doing it all my life. I'm going to suggest something you might think it's weird but it will help your grouping stay closer together buy some sheep's wool and tear a patch off that will cover the back of the pellets you are using. The shock hitting your ammo all at once is throwing everything off a 1/4inch thick wad of sheep wool will cushion it enough that it will help your accuracy it can be cork or cardboard I like sheepswool and have better performance with it. Just try it load your projectile then the wool behind it close n shoot. The air from the gun is like the powder going off
Definitely, I actually grabbed a ton of different wants to try out. I have a diablo 12, so I have been playing with the powder card and wads from that a bit. With the new ammo I am trying in the 72 cal version, it has been much better. Going to be trying out a ton of different options.👍👍
@@toxicmatrix1337 Me too! And some idiot in the cape used an air rifle to shoot at some tree climbers. Now I’m hoping Healey doesn’t come up with more bad laws.
Years ago my Dad tried splitting OOBs with a knife then inserting wire fishing line, then squishing with pliers, to make "chain shot." But it didn't work well. He was working on 16 gauge shot gun shells.
You can fill direct with an HPA compressor as well, but the transfer tank is the fastest method though. A fill on that 1 time to cover all day sometimes vs filling the cylinder on the PCP over and over from the unit.
What was the $700 air rifle you mentioned at 2:26? Loving the videos. I have a few nitro pistons and I’m looking for a pcp now. Figured I’d start lower end and acquire the scuba tank and other equipment for a more pricy pcp later. Thanks for the videos. I really want the Rattler, eventually
That is the Hatsan Blitz. Prices are all over the place for that thing. Right now its 800 on pyramyd air, others have it at 1000 and sometimes its on sale for 650. lol
@@toxicmatrix1337 look I know you’ve made a lot of videos. A lot of pcp’s. What is your favorite? So far? Going off of precision and power. Thank you for responding. 🙏
I would love it if this could ship directly to my front door. Unfortunately, laws in Jersey have changed due to a few bad apples. But you can buy as much weed as you would like because the government now gets their share. Enjoyed the video.... I'm 53 years old, and I can't purchase a pellot gun unbelievable. As if most violent crimes are committed with legal firearms. Thanks, NJ politicians!
I watched the video and my first reaction was to apologize, but in my defense it is a 16” rifled barrel, firing prototype ammo. Looks like I need to build a choke or find smooth bore barrel stock.
I got your choke, beautiful & precision piece...definitely need to reach out for a smooth bore barrel to swapp onto my 32" Zeus soon...please get some stock, in stock!
Id love to retry with the smoothbore and choke. If you need the 72 cal tested, I would be glad to do that as well. I do like the different shot, pellet loads, I dont think they need any changes. I believe a revisit with the different barrel/choke, doing the same tests will be night and day. 👍👍
This is a great video. The 1st shots were, after all, bird shot and for hunting small game rabbit quail squirrel you dont want so much shot in them you can't eat them. So, with the bird shot shells, I would want an even larger pattern. I would never consider them for self - and home defense. I would like to see the rounds that would be used both in hunting larger game and defense shot into ballistic jell. At hunting and ranges, that would be more like home defense. Thanks for the great video.
Am super surprised you did Not have a wad or sabot get crooked in that muzzle break. 😮 Like firing Rem accelerators ™️ in a M1a. No sabots through a muzzle brake..💥💯
This is Great! Love the testing! Can you also, if possible, include SPL measurements, both with and without the silencer? This thing sounds as loud as a firearm lol! Also, after testing various shotgun style loads, could you put in a single slug for comparison? Thx!!!!
Thanks! I am going to redo this with the 72cal smoothbore version and choke. This barrel in the 58 ended up being rifled. I need to grab a meter, the one I have isnt really good. Unfortunately in this caliber I only had the shotshells. I do have a bunch of videos with the 72 cal slugs, they are monsters
I think a choke would definitely help but also the muzzle brake may be affecting the spread. Also if it’s a rifled barrel that probably has an affect also. I’m not familiar with air guns but very familiar with shotguns.
The gel I use is the same density the FBI uses, you would not want to be anywhere down range of this. You could load rock salt, ive been trying out different wads and seeing what patterns better. That would be interesting to see.
Can you use compressed air from a regular compressor? Or do you need something like CO2 or special compressed air? I'm kind of interested, but it seems information is all over the place.
It rains a lot here, loads of stagnant water pools in the woods to spawn a ton of bugs. I have a bug bag perimeter around my yard but I think I need some propane bug catchers.
They raided an airgun company that makes moderators. Technically, they care in some respects, but I was talking about the NFA and cost/restriction compared to firearms.

In Louisiana, anything that shoots a projectile via propellent, including an air rifle, is classified as a firearm if you are prohibited from firearm ownership.

Sometimes, however, "cool" you personally think something is, it's unwise to share with a large group of people looking to undo, the very rights you currently have. I agree with it being a great way to protect our family and what we all have left completely. As well as being a great informative video But the more attention something gets, the more likely that somebody out there is willing to take that very right away. Unfortunate "title" to video. Cheers 🍻...
Ignorance only lasts so long though. The one thing that is going to set things off, probably wont be a video, but rather a person using one in a crime. Theres one company that makes airgun moderators, "suppressors", essentially. Someone used one of their airgun parts on a firearm in a crime and the company was then raided by the ATF. These moderators are still not even classified as, "suppressors", by the ATF. That in itself is something to note. The states that want to classify these as firearms, cant. They send in the paperwork, but the feds cant process it as a firearm because it isnt a firearm. On the other hand though, if people are concerned these videos are going to cause an issue, my mentality is to get them into the hands of everyone who wants them before its restricted.
Kinda American way of thinking about things is screw the government anyway, there's so many guns in private hands that they would almost have to declare war on the citizens in order to disarm the country and it would be long, miserable and brutal
One thing, might be the type of casing, the pellets and slugs are in. It's like a capsule, and it may have some sort of effect on the spread of the shots. Maybe try firing a single slug, and see what sort of energy you get from 1 instead of 2-3. Other things like 'wadding,' behind the slugs, may add to the energy.
For these, you can get your own shot or ball ammo and make your own, youd save a good bit of money. For the larger ammo, if you get molds, and cast them yourself, thats a huge savings too. Kind of the nice thing about these, if you make your own ammo, only other thing you need is air. I do need to revisit this with a proper barrel, this one was rifled, thought it was a smoothbore at first.
You can only diesel spring piston guns. With the air being precharged, it doesnt produce the heat from compressing the air required to ignite the oil. You can swap the air for helium though, you apparently get a significant increase in power, but it is a risk from what I read.
@@toxicmatrix1337 Oh that is totally not true. You very definitely can diesel PCPs. That's why most of them come with warnings about not using petroleum-based lubricants. The heating isn't as dramatic as with a spring-piston gun, but on a well-designed air gun the bore pressure will slightly exceed the tank pressure briefly due to the inertia of the moving gas. That plus the substantially higher partial pressure of O2 from cranking in 200+ atmospheres of pressure is more than enough to do the job. I've got a couple older PCPs from the early 2000s in .35 and .45 and their listed foot-poundage output relies on dieseling. Lubing the bullets with Bore Butter works best in those as the Wintergreen oil is volatile enough to ensure consistent dieseling regardless of environmental temperature, and then the lanolin provides about the right amount of extra pressure (for the two models I have at least.) And then the beeswax does a good job of lubricating the bore. On warm days, Crisco will do, but you have to warm it up to about body temperature first, so that's messy and inconvenient. The problem with trying it in a lot of the newer models is that they tend to be precision engineered for whatever their tank pressure is and running more through them is likely to blow out some of your seals. And yes, it's definitely dieseling in my guns. The air tanks get cold, the barrel gets warm.
@@laurenceperkins7468 Everything I've looked into says that its not possible. The reason for not using petroleum based lube, is because its going to degrade the seals over time from what everyone tells me.
@@toxicmatrix1337 There may be other reasons to not use petroleum as well, although most airguns these days seem to use nitrile seals which won't care particularly much. CO2 powered guns definitely won't diesel since there's not much oxygen in there to burn anything. But the theory everybody works under is that reducing the pressure in the tank cools the air off, and therefore it can't be hot enough. That's true so far as it goes, but the air that is already on the downstream side of your valve is not cold, and the spike in pressure warms it up. Plus then the cooled air from the tank regains most of its original temperature as the pressure equalizes, plus the inertia of the moving gas drives the bore pressure slightly higher than the tank pressure for a brief period of time. On top of that, from a chemistry point of view, at 200 atmospheres of pressure you have 42 atmospheres partial pressure of oxygen. As a general rule, the higher the pressure, the lower the required ignition temperature will be. Also, the larger the container and the better mixed the fuel and air are, the lower the ignition temperature. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if the newer generations of air guns are deliberately engineered to avoid dieseling since unforeseen pressure spikes break things. But put ten lubricated rounds through my old Sam-Yang .45cal and the barrel is decidedly hot by the end of it. With unlubricated bullets it gets colder as you shoot. It might also make a difference that I'm shooting fairly heavy bullets, not the typical wasp-waisted airgun ammunition, so there's quite a bit more dwell time between the pressure spike and when the bullet starts moving.
@@laurenceperkins7468 Have you chronographed the velocity? If you are getting ignition, you should film it. The video would get 100k views minimum. I'll borrow it and film 😉
The only complaint I have with the Blitz is that the 16 round magazine empties before you even finish squeezing the trigger. 30 round ain't much better.
@toxicmatrix1337 The 16 round ones aren't bad. Can set those by hand. The 30 round one I have to use a socket and wrench. I heard there was a proprietary tool, but haven't been able to track it down. I do plan on picking up a few more 30 round, soon.
When you get to the power ratings of various firearms, the noise level is pretty significant. Some of the smaller calibers will easily break the speed of sound, that crack from doing so is going to be pretty loud. These do make great moderator hosts, if you stay subsonic, but my main reason for having them is fun. They make you a better shot too, they run clean, very accurate, ammo is usually pretty affordable until you get into big rounds. Cool thing is you can cast your own ammo and save some money. With only lead and air needed, simplicity is nice.
@@advairsoft its kind of funny when it happens from a tiny caliber. 177 at 1300fps, all you hear is the valve on the gun but then its loud as hell from the crack lol. Airforce Condor SS, its a sweet setup. Super quiet, I run heavier ammo and still have to detune it so its subsonic.
This video is nothing short of evidence to avoid air rifle toys and getting a real firearm. Greater reliability, usability, accuracy, range, capacity. The only thing these air rifles offer is ease of purchase. That doesn't count for much for those who have no problems passing background checks.
These give firearms a run for the money on accuracy, these are incredibly reliable too. I have 33 round mags for the FA airgun I showed in the video quickly, belt-fed is a thing too. Vast majority of people arent able to use firearms in their backyard, some people travel hours to get to a range. Theres a lot more to this than options for felons.
@@jeffhunt5964 The spread issue was more than likely due to the barrel. I am going to be retesting with the 72 cal smoothbore and choke. If things go well, I will put it up against a 12ga. This produces 1500ft/lbs, it should be relatively close with shot. The 3 inch magnum slugs will get away from it for sure though, but the 72 cal with slugs is a monster still.
Or, and this may be controversial, just get one because they are fun. Not every purchase has to be about your ability to defend your family from the Golden Horde.
@@jeffhunt5964you clearly missed the part where you can shoot slugs out of it as well, I have a Seneca .357 big bore pcp air rifle and I run .357 (9mm) 127gr solid flat point slugs out of it and it’s fairly fucking accurate, don’t judge a big bore air rifle off the shot capsules but using actual slugs.
Interesting. I was a bit Meh on the spread but the Jell got my interest. How is the gas stored? A cylinder like some of the gas guns in .22 or a pumped cylinder? I can cast my own rounds. Womder what a brass slug would do....
You need an HPA compressor, a transfer tank(if you have a shop close by that can fill it) or a 4500psi hand pump. I use a big compressor to fill essentially a scuba tank, but with a different valve setup for PCP airguns. I wasn't aware when filming that the barrel is rifled, I thought it was a smoothbore. The company that sent it out for me to test makes a smoothbore kit in the 72 caliber, I figured it was setup the same. I'm dying to retest it, the gel test was still pretty significant, I think that would improve too, but the spread should be night and day. This thing is an absolute monster with the slugs through it. That much lead flying is a freight train. If it works well as a shotgun too, that would be really cool.
@@toxicmatrix1337 I have a compressor. :) How many shots per fill? Remember, Lewis and Clark used air rifles on their expedition. Had someone else pumping the tanks by hand tho. :D
@@mindofmadness5593 I was topping off after 4 or 5 rounds, it will keep going though. From max fill, 3-4 rounds and its down to 3000 psi. After that it kind of hangs out a bit at that range for a few more rounds. The first ones use a ton more air though. With the 600cc tank on the 72 cal slugs, I run over a dozen rounds per charge.
You have to be careful with airgun ammunition. Lots of them the barrels aren't hardened enough for more than pure lead ammunition. Even copper jacketed is a no-no, let alone solid brass.
Please note, you don’t need an FFL to purchase guns in any state unless you plan to sell the gun. The biggest problem, is some guns require you to ship to an FFL company, as some companies are with our government and don’t want you having guns without some record.
@@TheRoadhammer379 not sure what you mean. An FFL is a license to sell weapons as an arms dealer. If it is shipping to your door, then you are buying it from a dealer who has an FFL. Also, these are air rifles, which are not classified as firearms.
With these, you want to keep them strored under pressure. If you fill them, then empty the tank, the seals have a chance of failing when its aired back up after sitting empty for an extended amount of time. If the pressure drops over time there's a leak that needs to be addressed, an o-ring might need to be replaced, gauge or screw needs to be tightened.
This thing with slugs is relatively close some 12ga loads. It will knock 25lb steel target stands over at 100 yards. It has the power youd expect from a firearm, this test was a little lackluster with patterning since the barrel is rifled. Im hoping to follow up and put it up against a 12ga if I get the 72 cal smoothbore and choke kit, as well as retesting the 58 with the smoothbore setup.
I could show you a cheap paint ball gun that is more dangerous than a shotgun and takes no modification to the gun simply a sabo 🎉 however it would be for self defense inside of your own house as well 😉

The reason this didnt perform as well as it should have, was due to the rifled barrel. Im going to put the 72 cal smoothbore up against a 12ga at some point. This has more power than many shot loads, just needs to be setup properly. This thing sends a freight train of lead down range with the giant rounds, it hits harder than anything else I own, regardless of the ft/lb difference. The effect from the size of the projectile is like a plow.
I just think some people are afraid to admit that these air rifles nowadays are getting pretty damn bad as and they don't like that soon they'll prob be better than a firearm.

i really want one of those piston air guns, as having to refill air tanks would either be loud with a compressor, or exhausting with a hand or foot pump.
@@luislongoria6621 still have to fill them up as well. though i am thinking post apocalypse hunting of small game where bow an arrow is too big. already have one of the break action cocking pistol cross bows at 90 pounds. however that requires a hard case to protect it and has an awkward shape. also have to wax the string and replace it every so often. those piston air guns need far less routine care, and if careful don't break as often. of course sling shot as the last resort.
The unit I have is relatively quiet for the size of it, filling in my basement you cant hear it upstairs. With the door I have leading outside, you walk 30 feet out and it cant be heard even with it right by the open door. You could probably do decent with a handpump if the cylinder size isnt outrageous, probably like 200cc would be okay. Some of the smaller calibers get a ton of rounds off per fill.
@@toxicmatrix1337 great for the here and now, but not so great when you gotta bug out, and noise is a death sentence ;). i already got large game covered with a recurve bow. have to settle for a slingshot for small game until i can get something better, and keep the slingshot as back up. have considered the pocket shot slingshot and slingbow system as it even has the bow fishing kit, just the 200 ish price tag a bit much.
Many questions come to mind about this as a home defense weapon. To me, first and foremost is the amount of time the cylinder would stay charged while the weapon is put away in the home and if leaving the cylinder charged is bad for the seals and components of the shotgun because you don't want it uncharged in an emergency when it takes 30 seconds or so to fill it. In a life of death scenario, 30 seconds can be a lifetime. If nothing else, it looks to be a fun thing to plink with at the range.
For these airguns, you want to leave them with air stored. You can have them topped off at max pressure, but I usually leave mine around 3000 to 4000psi. Pressure should hold, if it does drop over time, a leak is present and needs to be corrected. You'll get drop offs when you fill, heats generated from the fill, and you'll lose about 100-200 psi when it cools. Slower fills will help prevent the loss, when filling transfer tanks, some people put them in water to cool as its filled.
You do need to check on them since they do tend to run down slowly over the course of months. No seal is perfect after all, and valve designs to minimize leakage conflict with valve designs for rapid discharge. But they're designed to be stored charged since if the tank runs completely empty you'll get moisture and dust migrating in. Same reason you shouldn't run your propane tank all the way dry. Big thing for home defense is that they work on, at *most* 1/10th the pressure of a typical firearm. So you need a much larger package to get the same amount of power. That's... inconvenient. But still better than just a sharp stick.
@@michaelcardona3678 The Bulldog Bullpup? I havent fired this at a 4x4 but im sure it would rip clean through with a slug. With 4 or 5 rounds the 4x4 would probably split in half.

Cool stuff, but come on.... The price for the ammo is ridiculous.... WTF!!!!
For these, you can get your own shot or ball ammo and make your own, youd save a good bit of money. For the larger ammo, if you get molds, and cast them yourself, thats a huge savings too. Kind of the nice thing about these, if you make your own ammo, only other thing you need is air.

Those are great for plinking around with or even hunting, but im not going to rely on an airgun when it comes to protecting my family.
Can you diesel the buckshot rounds and get a little more velocity.

Its not far off from certain muzzleloaders prices. The 72cal produces 1500ft/lbs. Night and day vs cleaning black powder.
Then don't buy one. But if you want a full auto option at lower price point and legality matters to you, it's certainly well worth the price.
Could you kill or incapacitate an intruder with one is my question? Or, would you just piss him off?
@@jasonbender2459 Yes. The gel I use is what the FBI uses to simulate tissue, that would be pretty devastating.
imjust asking, if you have to use ear pro why airgun? thats the idea the be almost silent?
When you get to the power ratings of various firearms, the noise level is pretty significant. Some of the smaller calibers will easily break the speed of sound, that crack from doing so is going to be pretty loud. These do make great moderator hosts, if you stay subsonic, but my main reason for having them is fun.
They make you a better shot too, they run clean, very accurate, ammo is usually pretty affordable until you get into big rounds. Cool thing is you can cast your own ammo and save some money. With only lead and air needed, simplicity is nice.
@@toxicmatrix1337 right on didnt think about sonic crack thanks!
@@toxicmatrix1337 50 feet and terrible spread. A 410 shotgun will outperform it in every way and for less than half the cost!
@@laurenceperkins7468 Its even softer lead too. The barrels definitely aren't as tough as a firearms.
Please note, you don’t need an FFL to purchase guns in any state unless you plan to sell the gun. The biggest problem, is some guns require you to ship to an FFL company, as some companies are with our government and don’t want you having guns without some record.
EVERY FIREARM PURCHASED IN STORE OR ONLINE SHIPS TO AN FFL. Private transactions are not included, stop spreading false bullshit
@@TheRoadhammer379 not sure what you mean. An FFL is a license to sell weapons as an arms dealer. If it is shipping to your door, then you are buying it from a dealer who has an FFL. Also, these are air rifles, which are not classified as firearms.
hey quick question, can airgun air tanks be kept pressurized? for spontaneous sudden need of use?
With these, you want to keep them strored under pressure. If you fill them, then empty the tank, the seals have a chance of failing when its aired back up after sitting empty for an extended amount of time. If the pressure drops over time there's a leak that needs to be addressed, an o-ring might need to be replaced, gauge or screw needs to be tightened.
@@toxicmatrix1337 Thank you
Not even a true shotgun its just a air rifle
This thing with slugs is relatively close some 12ga loads. It will knock 25lb steel target stands over at 100 yards. It has the power youd expect from a firearm, this test was a little lackluster with patterning since the barrel is rifled. Im hoping to follow up and put it up against a 12ga if I get the 72 cal smoothbore and choke kit, as well as retesting the 58 with the smoothbore setup.
I could show you a cheap paint ball gun that is more dangerous than a shotgun and takes no modification to the gun simply a sabo 🎉 however it would be for self defense inside of your own house as well 😉
Still a canon
It’s a gun…
Shooting shot…
@@adamkerns-isley8634whatever dude, that just shows how little u actually know about 12ga shotguns. The US used em to clear trenches an the Germans cried it was a war crime. A 12ga loaded with #00 3 inch shells is devastating and ur not getting that performance from a paintball gun.
You didn't tell us what kind of gun it was and where you could buy it at I would like to buy 1
AEA Zeus. Custom ones are available at Texoma precision pellet and accessories. Bluegrass big bore has the standard versions available, free shipping there if you use my promo code: Matrix
All you have proved is that BB guns can never replace a firearm
The reason this didnt perform as well as it should have, was due to the rifled barrel. Im going to put the 72 cal smoothbore up against a 12ga at some point. This has more power than many shot loads, just needs to be setup properly. This thing sends a freight train of lead down range with the giant rounds, it hits harder than anything else I own, regardless of the ft/lb difference. The effect from the size of the projectile is like a plow.
Proven not proved, also you clearly should pay more attention or at the very least Watch more videos showcasing the power of big bore air rifles!
I just think some people are afraid to admit that these air rifles nowadays are getting pretty damn bad as and they don't like that soon they'll prob be better than a firearm.
@@poolhalljunkie9 Id already take the Gauntlet 30 over a 22lr, the accuracy is incredible, hits harder with heavy grain ammo and pretty much zero cleaning by comparison. For power sake, the Zeus with slugs... My god LOL!
Will these guns hold a charge for several days or weeks without damaging it?
@@stuwest3653 You want to keep these charged after the initial fill. If they go back to empty for an extended amount of time, it may leak when you charge it back up. Once filled, they should maintain pressure, if it doesnt a seal needs be replaced, a gauge or bleed screw needs tightening. If it still leaks after that, it would need to be serviced.
@@toxicmatrix1337 Thats good news for those that want to use this for home defense. Thanks.

Why did you click on it ?Why did you watch it ? Have you ever created anything and put it out there for the world to see , other than your crappy opinions?
It's not useless lol. The accuracy issue is more of the way the shots are staged in the shells. They'll naturally tend to veer...
This is very useful info, because I will now prefer to use a single slug...

i really want one of those piston air guns, as having to refill air tanks would either be loud with a compressor, or exhausting with a hand or foot pump.
That or a scuba tank. Reserve air tanks are the most portable

@@firearmssanctuary2448 I want to try one of the "rifle" style slingshots, but it looks like almost all of them are chinese, which I am not a fan of.
YOU HAVE A REAL SHOOTING GALLERY MY FRIEND. A DIFFERENT KIND OF HIGH. NOT EVEN BIRDS FLY BY. SMART BIRDS.
Thank you, lol!
I don't muzzle brakes are recommended for shot shells. Could be one of the factors for the extreme spread.
Is it dangerous to leave the tube charged with air? Or is this something that you would have to fill up before use?
For PCPs, you want to leave them stored with air. You could leave it full, I usually leave mine at around 3000 psi and then top off before I use them.
Benjamin bullpup went through 4x4 clean what can that do??
@@michaelcardona3678 The Bulldog Bullpup? I havent fired this at a 4x4 but im sure it would rip clean through with a slug. With 4 or 5 rounds the 4x4 would probably split in half. Using a 16" barrel the Zeus makes around 800 FPE, the 32 inch barrel reaches about 1500 FPE. I have a part 2 of this video with a 12ga smoothbore and choke. In the follow up video, some rounds stayed whole and acted like slugs, it was pretty devastating.
