That dirt cheap it was a Conn's they sold all kinds of stuff and where the academy is that was a Kmart because right behind the store was the Cherry Lane twin Drive-In movie theater it was awesome till it went dark circa 1985 yes I have been in that store it's a hot mess but the people that work there are nice
The Dirt Cheap, store looks like a hurricane went through, and a tornado both at the same time. I have seen neater, Garage Sales, Kmart Store Closings, and Yard Sales.
And I thought my local Goodwill was junky! The auto part section had me cracking up.
I couldn’t work or shop in a store that was in such a disarray like that. Clutter gives me massive anxiety 😥
Even though that store is not going out of business it looks like it's going out of business the way it looks kind of ramshackled 😆 happy holidays to you and your family nothing but the best for you guys and everyone else in 2022 can't wait for more awesome videos
Correct, that's a former kmart, I want to say conns was there at one time too, ooo and the Dr pepper shake is already back at whataburger!

That place BETTER. be " Dirt Cheap" for that mess!!!! They get this stuff from overstock they would make money if it was organized! ( and cheap with prices on things) 😜🤣🙄😬 Thanks for the walk through it was fun!
If I ever get the chance to visit a Dirt Cheap I swear I'm gonna need some oxygen 'cause I'll be laughing so hard. That place makes Ollie's look like a high class store! At least everything at Ollie's is clearly priced.
My nephew worked at that location. He didn't stay there long. And I see why. Lol

I am guessing the store previously was most likely one of the following based on the design and color scheme:
* Fry's Electronics
* Circuit City
* TJ Maxx

If you ever happen to be in MISSISSIPPI, there are two Dirt Cheap stores you would really enjoy! There's one in Philadelphia (yes, there IS a Philadelphia in Mississippi, but this place is NOTHING like the Philadelphia in Pennsylvania, and is a small town) in the central part of the state, which you might enjoy because it's an old WALMART store from the 70's (back then, Walmart was known by the name WAL-MART DISCOUNT CITY) which closed in 1994 but still looks like an older Walmart both inside and out! Also, there's a Dirt Cheap BUILDING SUPPLIES store in Hattiesburg, on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, which was very briefly an ALBERTSONS supermarket in the late 90's and early 2000s, but still has the Albertsons exterior design! This old Albertsons is attached to a dead mall called Cloverleaf Mall, but I don't think (I could be wrong though) the Albertsons had a mall entrance.

What used to be there before dirt cheap came along was a Conns Home electronics/Home appliances store.
@@donnitacoble3952 Yes I'm aware that it used to be Kmart. I used to go there all the time growing up but I thought he asked in the video "what was it BEFORE it became dirt cheap" Go back and watch the 0.38 second mark where he asks about it.
I don't think I'd buy anything from that store just judging by how the Christmas trees were looking in the boxes

I visited a Dirt Cheap store 3 years ago, back in 2018! The closest one near me here in Texas is in Nacogdoches! I remember I bought me a watch and a hat! It was during the summer of 2018 when I shopped at the Nacogdoches, Texas Dirt Cheap store! I went with a group of my friends from where I work!
