Glad it helped, thanks for watching! If you're in the mood for some tunes, check out my new math song that came out today! ua-cam.com/video/0Oro28Xkzbg/v-deo.html On the topic of the Fibonacci sequence, here is another video involving some Fibonacci math which I think is pretty cool: ua-cam.com/video/3mfuguNIghI/v-deo.html
First of all, get them letters OUT of my numbers!! 🤣🤣 This is one of those rare instances where the CONCEPT seems really simple, but the explanation is so convoluted and exhaustive. Thanks for the video tho!
thankyou but if I start at zero and not 1 the answer would be different right?for example when it says add the 4th fibonacci number then the answer is 3 but if you start at zero the answer will be 2. Im confused so what is really the correct one huhu
Hi! I don't know if I'm correct but I've seen other videos here on UA-cam state that: F0 = 0 F1 = 1 F2 = 1 F3 = 2 F4 = 3 F5 = 5 Therefore, I think F0's fibonacci number is always 0. The correct answer to your question is that you must always start at one and not at zero. 😅
When you look at these numbers when starting with 0 , 2 is the 3rd number , 8 is the 6th number 34 is the 9th number 144 iels the 12th number So every 3rd number is an even number Every 4th number is a multiple of 3 Every 5th number is a multiple of 5 Every 6th number is a multiple of 8 Every 7th number is a multiple of 13 and so on¹
I suck at math, but esoterially, polygons with points correlated to the fibinocci sequence, can add isoceles triangles to their flat edges, and hollow out the pentagram in the middle, And the same ammount of star points will intersect with a circle as their polygon's sides. This is SACRED geometry. I'm pretty sure the non-fibinocci pointed stars, will not intersect or correlate... But I don't know math
The 6 is what number it is in the Fibonacci (F) sequence. If 1 is the starting number, then when you count down the row of numbers 8 will be the sixth one. Therefore, F6 = 8

@wrathofMath Hi @minute 1.56 please explain Why F. Subzero equals 1 & F, one equals one also...then n is greater or equal to zero but then the formula u use to find the F 6 u use the formula on top instead of the bottom formula..in other words my question is if u were to use the bottom formula star counting from zero to find F6 u would get a (7) instead of a number "8". But if u use the top formula and start counting from 1 u get the right number (8).. But if n is greater or equal to zero then u should be able to use the bottom formula and start from Zero... Sounds inconsistent and why is Fsubzero =to 1 And F1 also equals to 1????
If ur trying to find F6 using the 0,1,1,2,3,5,8 ...then Fn=F3+F2 then F6 equals to #5 but if u use the sequence on top 1,1,2,3,5,8...then F6 equals to#8 Which don't make NO sense because how can n>_ be equal or greater than zero at the same time???and yet get two different answers 8&5 how can a number be equal to zero and at the same time be greater than zero???
Like I understand the concept, thank you. but let's take a bigger number likes 100, u need to count till the 99th? i dont think its the right approach to it
Thanks for watching, and are you asking how you find the later Fibonacci numbers, like the hundredth, by hand? The short answer is that you don't. If you want a bunch of Fibonacci numbers, write a program, use a computer, look them up. If you must get them by hand, then yes you need to go through the process of computing them normally, though there are approximation formulas you can use.

Hi! I don't know if I'm correct but I've seen other videos here on UA-cam state that:
F0 = 0
F1 = 1
F2 = 1
F3 = 2
F4 = 3
F5 = 5
Therefore, I think F0's fibonacci number is always 0. The correct answer to your question is that you must always start at one and not at zero. 😅

I'm trying to do a coding assignment and needed to make a fibbonaci sequence function. Thank you so much for your help.
Oh i’m here for the coding assignment also.

1:57 shouldn't n be greater than or equat to 2? I mean how can u get F of negative numbers?
Just did an exercise on Python programming on doing the Fibonacci Numbers. It was quite interesting to do.
The explanation is excellent
Such a great explanation love the channel name wrath of math 😂
Does it also work w negative numbers?
Simple and helpful thank you.
Glad it helped, thanks for watching! And let me know if you have any video requests!
thank u, this was really helpful for my math project.

Felt that. Shit like this makes a million types more sense then algebra.
Thanks for this clear explanation.
I have questions;
What is domain of sequence? Is it natural number or whole number I got really confused
oml you explained so easily thankyou
I have a question where did you get F6?
The 6 is what number it is in the Fibonacci (F) sequence. If 1 is the starting number, then when you count down the row of numbers 8 will be the sixth one. Therefore, F6 = 8
Where did you get that f0?
What if the n is n = 2? Does it start in 2?
1
