    Tisa's makes nice weapons, own 4 of their 1911 platforms and they all are fine shooters without the colt greed & poor quality control.

    So it's a Girsan Hi Power with an Inglis name.....wish Girsan would come out with a P-08 Luger clone.....

  • @Procket12
    @Procket12 5 місяців тому +4

    This is not an Inglis Hi Power clone, this is a clone of the L9A1. They're not the same. Don't call it an Inglis and claim it's "Historically Accurate" if its not going to be. Otherwise you're pushing some False/Deceptive Advertising bushwah.

      They’re made in turkey by a company who but the inglis name and had it stamped on a grisan. Don’t be so gullible and do some basic research. He literally said they purchased the trade mark and contracted to have them made, probably by the lowest bidder. Don’t by junk.

      @@justlookingaround Do you own anything but an opinion on this? It says made in Turkey right on the frame and I don't believe there is any misleading content about that. The Turks have their QA issues but no more or less than any other manufacturer in this market space. Girsan v. Inglis: Girsan has that offensive safety warning on the frame, ceracoat finish, and magazine disconnect safety. SDS/Inglis doesn't have the billboard safety warning, has a better finish (black chromate over nickle plating), and has a better trigger b/c it doesn't have a mag disconnect safety. I have both the SA-35 (the safety detent was so poor it was sent back to the factory, which did resolve the issue per se, but not entirely,) and an Inglis L9A1. IMO the L9A1 is just as nice as the SA-35 for a couple hundred bucks less. Cocked and locked is comfortable with only a very positive safety lever. And the Girsan, Inglis, as well as the SA have mushey safety attenuation(every HP variant I have handled seems to have an inferior safety feel compared to the 1911+ models.) Unfortunately to achieve this positivity any of these HP models including OG FN Browning HPs need customs springs and tuning, so given one's expectations this model might come across as junk in inexperienced hands. I think the money one spent to deactivated the Mag safety and correct the safety detent on Girsan MC P35 pushes the cost up to around the $700 SA 35 Mark. For Jingoist the SA 35 is the only way to go. The SDS Inglis has a third party Distribution Interest similar to Cimarron line of products. Tisas of Yurkey is manufacturing the MC P35 and and the L9A1. I would prefer the 3rd party distribution the Cimarron and Taylor model as it simply is another level of QA. In the United States the distributor; European American Armory imports all Girsan product lines. The Inglis name was removed from Whirpool's corporate banner in the mid 1980s and relegate to a moniker for small househld appliances. ☮

    Reports say there are 3 models....base....nickel.... case-hardened look. As I enter the website...only the priciest case-hardened version is shown. What about the other 2 ? I see no mention of them on the website. Are they avilable?

    My all time favorite semi auto pistol is a Hi Power. Love my Beretta 92X, love my 10mm Colt Delta Elite. But a Hi Power was simply made for my hand. Fits like a glove and points naturally.

    Nice, but the Springfield Armory SA-35 Hi-Power eliminates the magazine disconnect that makes for a better trigger pull. Free falling magazine, for faster reloading, and better sights. Military parkerized like finish. Better thumb safety.The original Hi-Powers were made for military use. The Springfield Armory SA-35 Hi-Power is what the original Hi-Power should have been.
