Her transformational cover of J Cole's rap song "Middle Child" is excellent as well. I'm also a big fan of her cover of John Mayer's "Slow Dancing In A Burning Room". Just a friendly reminder that she pronounces her name FO-zia rather than Foo-zia. There's an 11 second UA-cam video on the ladybird3 channel titled "how to pronounce FAOUZIA" in which Faouzia says her own name 6 times. 🙂 I'd link it for your convenience, but sometimes posting links in UA-cam comments seems to not be allowed and causes comments to never appear.
Well, there’s another video where she explains that it’s actually FOO into its proper Arabic annunciation. That’s longer than an 11 second video. But she allows the FOH version. Both are OK.
@@Rosannasfriend Yes, I actually watched the longer video you speak of for the first time this afternoon. FOO-zia is basically the pronunciation her parents intended for her name and surely how her family still addresses her, but it seems that Faouzia made the conscious choice to be known as FO-zia professionally.
She is actually in Singer 2024 chinese show. Check her cover of Desert rose from this show or love on the brain or grenade she was absolutely awsome❤❤❤
I was in the hospital when you uploaded this so I didn’t get to watch it our comments until now. I love how you can be so professional and knowledgeable in your comments but at the same time, let yourself be a total fanboy! Yes, it doesn’t take long to get her in your top five or even top three list! LMAO. She’s that good! She supposed to sing “reflection“ tonight on the competition“ the singer“ in China. I’ve got my fingers crossed that she’ll deliver another legendary performance! What she did last week on that competition with the song “grenade“ by Bruno Mars.
Wow, you must REALLY be impressed with Faouzia if she's in your top 5 of all time after having heard only a small number of songs. It must be hard for you to resist delving into her catalog on your own rather than holding off for occasional reaction videos! Admittedly I rarely delve deep into artists, but Faouzia is my favorite discovery of the past nearly 20 years.
Beautiful reaction. As I can see, she made you stop breathing. That tells all. You can see her transformational cover of J Cole's rap song "Middle Child". Another unexpected beauty. Thank you.
❤❤❤ So beautiful, great reaction and analysis, thanks a lot! Btw., as I'm here already for Faouzia already just let me make sure RAYE didn't fall off your list...☺Brit Awards '24 live medley please as an introduction, thank you so much! have a great day and enjoy it, peace and love from Bavaria! 😍😍😍
Thank you for your reaction, she is an incredible talent for lyrics, music and being able to emote while singing. Other ones to check out, for sure Minefields ft. John Legend. Other's of hers that aren't as often reacted to, but have such beautiful composition to them are I Know; Thick and Thin; and 100 Bandaids. She also took J. Cole's rap song Middle Child and made it into a song, that one sounds amazing as well. Another song to check out that she did with another artist is I Dare You (to Love) by Kelly Clarkson, there's 2 versions, one with her and a number of other artists that got together with Kelly during the first bits of Covid lockdowns and sang the song in different languages, and then one with just Kelly and Faouzia singing in Arabic.
If you'd like to analyze another cover by Faouzia, a rarely reacted to performance of the Jacques Brel classic "Ne Me Quitté Pas" is an excellent example of Faouzia as a polyglot. You can check it out here -- ua-cam.com/video/CRrTblp9Cck/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
how can I say this , Dimash is very very very good but I dont really like him singing I don't know why , I find it meaningless to show what u can do with ur voice just for the sake of it , I dont relate to the lyrics that way , I like faouzia because she has a great voice especially her lower register, her songs have great lyrics that I can relate to , her approches when covering songs...
I don't like the great majority of the songs Dimash performs. I loved his first 3 songs/performances on Singer 2017, but it's been severely downhill for me since then. Faouzia is much more appealing to me.

While this is a cover, Faouzia wrote the second verse to suit her interpretation of "blue". I think you'll agree that she nailed it.

Yes I believe she prefers to be pronounced FO-zia and she always says 'Hey this is FO-zia."

Yes please! Desert Rose is soooo goood 😭😭😭
You should listen to Middle Child, she changed it from rap to singing, amazing performance

Great to have you back dude! Thought we lost you. Great song to react to, please do more of Dimash and Faouzia moving forward, thanks!

I'm SO happy that you found this! Her covers are as good as her originals.
I had only heard her "Blue" cover 2 or 3 times and I am appreciating it more each time I hear it. I always loved the original as well.
😊 I like this song, but I liked it more in what she transformed this song, because she made it her own song. 🥰
😊 Yes, react and analyze more songs of her, and I do recommend Minefields with John Legend.
You really need to watch her „desert rose” from singer 2024, and born without a heart. Your welcome!❤
I love his!! ❤🔥🔥🔥

I was waiting for born without a heart so badly 😓
That's a great combination of song, performance and video.
