@@genesises You can see the observer selected in F2, so you get the impression of the observer being part of your army while it contributes nothing. Same risk one runs with things like lurkers and tanks as it inflates your army count. Also unlike the tank and vikings, I don't think Observers in hold mode has a different icon to help you identify either.
