[Splatoon GMOD] Squidtales chapter 1

- Heya! I'm Gink The Inkle!
Squidtales is about an inkling whose name is Gink, he arrives at Inkopolis without knowing nothing about the world where he appeared... Then he meets the Cap'n Cuttlefish, Gink becomes Agent 3 and that makes the aventure start!
This is a series that I am developing in GMOD.
Since I'm not very satisfaced by the results in the animation quality, I will probably switch to SFM in the future in order to improve it (it lets me moving the models better and I have acess to all bones, in GMOD I'm a bit limited).
I know that the first part was clunky and odd, but the quality later improves a bit, while I was doing this I was also learning!
Anyway, all constructive criticism is welcome! I really want to improve the quality to the best as possible and what could be better than some reply from spectators? I just need to learn some other things like how to do a proper Humanoid-Squid transition...
Also the story is finished a long time ago, I hope to bring the whole thing to life!.

Well! I'm impressed! The first chapter of Squidtales had a much larger impact than I expected! The reception was quite positive and I'm really happy about that! Now... about the future of the series, I want to improve the animation quality, so for that I'm starting to learn a bit of how SFM works, the good news are that the animation quality is a lot better there in every aspect!, the lighting, the resolution, also every movement goes smoother! I liked it a lot, but I'm a noob using the program.
I don't really know how much time will take to animate the second chapter on SFM since is a new world to me, I already did a little 2 seconds test animation of an Inkling girl waving at the camera in SFM and the results were great! but it was more difficult than I expected, I will upload it soon as proof that I'm trying to work on the animation :) .
Anyway, I would like to heard what do people think about the situation... should I continue for now on GMOD? Or should I try to animate the second chapter on SFM? Eventually I will switch to SFM for the animation, but the transition will take some time... it takes a lot more of work on SFM than GMOD. (Any help learning SFM is appreciated!). Also, I will do little videos just for practicing purposes! (One I'm thinking is a "Why did Flight won over invisibility?"

Um, gink flight is much better than invisibility. Um, gink you shoud stick to GMOD for now.

Alright! I guess I will be doing some more little videos on SFM and then I will continue the second chapter on GMOD!

ooooohhhhhh I understand why It’s becaus when an inkling or octoling touches water they kinda melt in splatoon
So basically it’s the plot for the first Splatoon game...I LOVE IT!
Yep, It will be a bit modified, but I will be careful to keep most important details untouched!

Wow, that’s amazing! Have you started GMOD? Cause I think your part of the next generation of splatoon GMOD. Not to mention the story was well thought out.
Volume 88888 Hi! Thank you! And yeah... This is my first animation on GMOD, the story is more or less finished already but now comes the part when I need to bring life to it and animate, I don't know if I will continue to use GMOD or SFM... Probably the latter in order to improve overral quality, there a lot of things to improve here but I will fix them in chapter 2 :)
Well I am trying to give the splatoon gmod community a lot f respect, because this year 3 of splatoon GMOD community members have quite the community. So it would be really nice if you could make more GMOD videos, but if it’s too stressful for you don’t have to make any more GMOD videos. If you are going to make more GMOD videos then probably a good idea is to tell people to be patient. Maybe before a GMOD animation you should make test animations to see if people will like it first and so they would give you feedback. SFM I don’t really know about. I don’t watch a lot of SFM, I am sorry :( But good luck on your animations.
Oh I see :/... well, since I'm just starting I think I may do some random stuff on GMOD and the main series (Squidtales) on SFM, there are some many things that happened to me on Splatoon 2 that I will represent in GMOD animations xD.
The only bad thing is I have little to no experiencie in SFM so I'm not sure how much time it would take to make chapter 2 there... Some friends tells me that they want to see it on SFM so I will try that, you can notice a lot of aliasing here and a resolution of just 720p, on SFM I plan to bump that up to 1080p with full anti-aliasing, also add to that a lot of better lighting and better moves on the characters models and it will look fantastic!, that's where I'm pointing.
Oh, and I will upload some test videos just for people to know that I will not be dead xD

CrinqeYT Thanks for the feedback! Yeah... I had an issue with the squid sisters's skin tone, but in the first part the enemy is made that dark on purpose!
