Iam from Ontario Canada retired now we had a john deere round baler 330 at that time there was no kicker, I was able to put the bales anywhere I wanted to and we also had lots of hills.That baler you are using has lot of the same features. It could make a really well packed bale ,it was one of best balers they made. The bales were 4x4 so we were able to roll them around up stairs in the barn as well store them out side, did around 700 a year, never had a break down ,ran it for 15 years ,sure helped because before the round baler we did around 15000 thousand small square a year.

Hey, nobody remembers that bale that rolled all the way down that slope, into the corn field and smashed a big swath of corn down. I wasnt smerking at all when you drove the skidder through the corn like Moses through the red sea to retrieve that thing. Im not watching to see if you do it again...😮

Great video, baler is a perfect match for the 7510. It's a good idea to carry the partial bale to the next field to finish it off just don't leave any hay in the baler overnight or when it's parked. I have no facts to back that it's just what I was always told.

Hey Aaron,,been awhile since I commented, so here we go. 1st,,perfect tractor/baler combination. 2nd,,what rolling bale? Didn't see a thing,,lol. 3rd,,i worked for MDMA in Menomonie year's ago(pre tractor central),,always a great company to work with. Dont see that baler leaving the farm.
For your ground conditions have you tried a large square bailer.
There is a attachment thT turns the bale onto it's end when it comes out. That might help to stop them rolling off.

I enjoy your videos alot. I have been watching farming videos for a couple years and I am envious! I would probably only leave my property 2X a month for gas and groceries. Sonne farms has a round baler that holds 2 bales on the rear, slides 1 one to one side than the other which means they can determine the best place to leave their bales. Also, using a tri cycle type tractor on that steep hill seems like an awful chance on rolling over, wouldn't using a tractor with 4 wheels spread apart be safer? I'm sure dad knows best, just 1 persons opinion. I will keep watching your videos.

If yall decide to keep it check and see if you can get the optional accumulator. Then you can drop the bales on a level piece of land. Like the one Sonne Farms has.
I have seen a new Massy bailer and it was on a flat field doing 10.5 mph. It was there brand new one just out this year.

Lol Aaron leave the kicker on. Trust me speaking from experience our Farmers relatively flat but it does have a few rolling hills and we do some custom bailing on some rolling hills you're going to want that kicker to keep the bail away from the door when you close the door. You are used to blowing me up the pipe and making square bales, if you're going to run a round baler you will learn how to drop bales on the side Hill that you won't get them rolling away for you. Trust me I know
Here in the flat lands of Kansas my round bales don't roll away. I'm not sure how I'd get bales out of my machines in an area like you have.

If you drive a little faster, the bale gets a bit denser. You can drive mich faster with a round baler than with a small baler.
does bale kicker cylinder = bale head pickup cylinder ??? I'm just sayin LOL I know it's a demo but food for thought if you pull the trigger on on of these
when making the comment about using ear and eye protection i meant when using the gas powered blower to blow off the hay chaff those blowers are loud

The cab has tempered safety glass and is insulated for noise. I guess glasses if working on the baler. The inside of the cab is as loud as driving a truck.
Umm, you don't farm, do you? Cabs reduce the noise quite a bit, but many people still run open tractors for many jobs. Everyone appreciates your suggestion, though! 👍
I know that green bailer looks good behind that green tractor but u really need to try a new holland bailer.....

That’s technically not a kicker. It’s just a ramp a kicker is a long arm that actually pushes the bale out of the way of the door.
IF you buy that baler, insist on a fire extinguisher, and a few extra roller bearings in the deal. And always keep the bearings on hand. They don't seem to last long, figure on replacing some after the first 2000 bales. The fire extinguisher will be handy when the first one goes out....🙄👎🔥
Don't understand why you don't do big square bales instead of the rounds just because of the hills
The cost
Ever priced a big square baler vs a round baler? There's a whole list of reasons why a round baler is a better fit for them and most farmers
At least 3X more $. And net wrapped round bales can be stored outside, and don't lose much in waste until after the second year, but big Square bales almost have to be stored inside or wrapped in film.
With your hillside wouldn't it be better with a big square bailer?

Maybe you guys need to look into an accumulator option like sonne farms has. So can carry them to the bottom of the hill

Yes, but they can hold the hay till he gets to flat ground and then drop it off
@@charlieconnor1490 I'm not sure that will work well. They have some hills almost everywhere. It might not pay.
