- Piers Morgan urges the Princess of Wales to come forward and ‘explain’ and ‘complain’ - if the royals are to win back public support following the recent Mother’s Day picture debacle.
Despite the late Queen living by the motto of never complaining or explaining, he said the modern monarchy had to adapt to calm the feeding frenzy surrounding Kate’s illness.
He said no one apart from the Prince and Princess of Wales could quell the situation and fend off the mounting royal crisis.
Piers Morgan was joined by TMZ's Harvey Levin who said the whole situation could show that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could be right.
Royal Editor of the Evening Standard Robert Jobson clashed with commentator and comedian James Barr, who unveiled a 'Free Kate' t-shirt and debated how much could actually be trusted from the Royal Family's press office.

You have no right to privacy when your a public figure living off the public. A President Prime Minister or Working Royal should all be subject to letting us know there health condition just like any regular employer would ask. And if you need 3 months off there's some explaining to do.

I know this is a day later following broadcasting this episode of your show but I felt I had to somehow let you know how utterly disappointed and devastating I am at listening to to you giving your opinion on the health etc. of Catherine , Princess of Wales. For years I have followed you, not always agreeing, but thought you had more integrity , professionalism and humanity than what you are portraying this week. It is devastating news to hear of the diagnosis of cancer for her. No wonder they preferred to keep any news regarding her illness to themselves. It is their right and privilege and certainly not yours, mine, the ghouls who troll the internet and the guttersnipe media to decide if and when anyone outside their family need to know. With three young children to prepare for this news, timing needs to be of the utmost importance. Imagine them going to school and hearing all sorts of stories about their mummy. My sister died of cancer in her late forties leaving an 11 year old daughter. It was devastating. My eldest son was diagnosed with colon cancer at age of 37. He died two months after his 40th. Birthday. I was devastated and continue to be haunted by the fact that I had my breast removed from cancer and I survived. So Piers, you do have some grovelling to do to gain back my respect. 🇬🇧🇨🇦.
