    I love how you give productivity tips and yet you are so calm and you don't advertise this grind grind grind mindset. That is what I get from your videos. We can achieve things by being calm too. Thank you! I really needed this.

      Hey Thank you! I’m glad it’s helping you out.
      I definitely tried the grindset years ago and realized it’s just not healthy and sustainable long term.
      And this approach has worked for me for years now. And far better tbh.
      Hard work is needed, but doesn’t have to be draining. 👌

    you are such an inspiration to me, you say things I always felt in the back of my mind but never payed attention to them, like I just feel like jumping out of bed in the morning and start working on my goals and not have to meditate, yoga etc, etc because this feels best for me, to just start doing. I appreciate all the work that you do with yourself and sharing your wisdom with us. 😆😆😆

    How Do You Add In Your Practice Time When It Comes To Learning A New Language or Instrument, And How Long Do You Practice A Day?

    • @vaughngene
      @vaughngene  3 місяці тому +3

      I just go at it until I feel like the momentum is slowing down.
      Then I take a break or switch to something else for the time.
      But I like riding the wave in general. That’s just how I work.

    Great video Vaughn. I was just wondering if you could implement the idea you presented in this video, with an Eisenhower Matrix. How would that look?

    • @vaughngene
      @vaughngene  13 днів тому +1

      I don't really have an Eisenhower Matrix (not on purpose at least).
      But if I did,
      my delete column would be the biggest.
      I am a big fan of discarding anything that isn't THAT useful in that current time. Including guilty habits (like social media), or even redundant YT video tutorials.
      I just pick one and take action.
      Less options for me means way more results..
      I also don't schedule much, as I prefer to cram things into by urgent list and take breaks when I feel the need to.
      If I schedule, I tend to procrastinate a lot.
      I delegate what I can.
      More important than anything,
      I take things one day at a time so it's less to think about.

    I have a 9-5 and family commitments and have limited time in the evening. Do you suggest just concentrating on one interested for 3 hours each evening or splitting the time into say 1 hour x 3 different interests per evening?

    • @vaughngene
      @vaughngene  2 місяці тому +3

      I’d say pick one and “exhaust” it a Sense, and if you start to check out mentally for the night,
      switch to the other.
      And maybe on some days you alternate with 2 per day. Like juggling.
      I think the longer more concentrated sessions will give you more results. But you’ll still be consistent.
      Like if your interests were named,
      A B and C
      Monday A and B,
      Tuesday B and C
      Wednesday C and A,
      Thursday A and B again, and so on.

      @@vaughngene thanks mate. I'll give that a go. In another video you mentioned adding games back into your life. What video do you talk about that?

    • @vaughngene
      @vaughngene  2 місяці тому +1

      I don’t think I mentioned it in detail yet, moreso removing things.
      But I glance over it in this one.
      I’ll link it below,

      I’ll talk about adding in leisure’s more someday.
