Why simple images won't sell in stock photography? Here is my thinking of it.

Agree with you, but flowers pictures still in demand but need to shoot variety of wildflowers and unique flowers sp. with their information with good quality

Well, I agree that flower images are in demand, but there are just so many flower images out there, that it is hard to get a lot of sales from that. If you can shot unique flowers, than yes, maybe you can make some money. But like most people do, just go out on a meadow and shoot flowers, that just won’t work :)

Definitely common garden flower pictures very hard to sell, need some unique flowers wide shots and macro shots also🙌

It won't be too long that heritage items that lend a time period's Zeitgeist to an image will become increasingly valuable.

Well, these simple images can be easily generated with ai, but also there is tons of content like that online, so I would not shoot that anymore.

Is there a way I can sell kids drawing on Shutterstock?

Yes, of course, you can. You can just sign a Property release for the drawing and attach it to the photo when uploading.

⁠advice, sell your own website. Big companies like Getty images, shutter stock rip u off!!! U be leave with peanuts

AII is taking over stock photography already.. shooting pictures instead of creating them is the old way. The new way is AI.. why would anyone buy a really expensive computer, pay to travel to take photos instead of just typing it on the pc and getting an image that's likely way better looking.. stock photography is changing very fast and regular photos are being replaced with AI photos because they're so eady and cheap to make. It's like when farmers switched to tractors from pitch forks.. upgraded, easier, faster.

Well, there are multiple sites that offer free images. Just use google search :)
Two that I know of are Unsplash and Pexels.
