One of my favorite things about this compared to the sims is that the character actually still looked like the same person when you went from male to female. In the Sims 4, the faces look very different depending on if you switch from male to female. So features that look really good or unique on a sim can look bizarre and distorted on their opposite-sex children. Like, a girl can't get her dad's nose even if she literally inherited it from him unless you edit. This is why most of my sims that I intend to reproduce have "same face syndrome" - I pick a face that can look okay male or female instead of trying to make interesting sims. Assuming there's genetics here, it would work out much better.

I think teens are definitely in development because in a cottonsocks playthrough in Blissbay she looked at some of the premade families and one of them had a teenager in it.
I really hope they end up adding the other clothing categories, like at least sleepwear and with hope something for customizing work clothes. But overall I just feel like I need more outfits in one category, like sims 4 has 5 possible outfits you can save for one category and I'd love that so much(especially since so many outfits look amazing)
I wonder if you can choose categories in your dresser. I expect you also have to buy them in a shop first. I’m actually excited to have a different way of doing things. After 23 years and 4 Sims games, it’s getting repetitive. I need a completely different life sim experience.
They cannot trademark creation processes. Also this kind of character creation existed back a decade ago in EVE online too. It's very detailed and you can basically create almost everything.

I am so excited for this game. I will have to upgrade my pc for it, but i really don’t mind. A lot of sims players are saying the game won’t be successful since a lot of players who insist on using ten year old laptops to game won’t be able to play but that is such an insane way to think about it 😭 if sims players continue to refuse to upgrade their hardware, that’s only going to encourage maxis to keep cutting corners. Don’t criticize them when sims 5 comes out with no open world, barely updated graphics (not saying it has to have a realistic style, but it can be stylized while still having higher quality models…), no important base game features, etc since they’re building the game for players who still want to hold the game back for machines that werent even built for gaming. They won’t be able to innovate to accommodate for you and you shouldn’t criticize them when there’s barely any improvements in the next installment.
Kind of an inconsiderate take, maybe keep in mind a lot of kids/teens or people who don’t have tons of money to spare spend their time in the sims. Keeping players with older tech in mind is important, thats why graphics settings exist. I hope INZOI Incorporates a potato mode for those who need it. It’s not player tech that is limiting EA/Maxis, it’s laziness , greed and lack of foresight.
@nagisa9147 player tech is still part of it. It's not just graphics that require a updated PC but also the gameplay systems themselves. There's a lot of GAMEPLAY stuff cut from the sims solely BECAUSE their minimum specs are low. Even on potato PCs, games that are open world won't run great without majorly cut corners.
I hope the realism doesn't stop at the graphics...I would like a very detailed gameplay where you can explore all aspects of life, both pleasant and unpleasant.A gameplay where you can even get into trouble if that's what you want!
The Sims making all negative experiences not just opt-in but like, forcing you to trigger them really puts me off. Every single story/session I play is this perfect idyllic little thing, which is great, but I'd love some drama that I don't have to create myself. Having to create it all myself cheapens the experience.
The issue with the graphics is that a lot of people won't be able to play without upgrading their systems. The specs are kind of demanding for casual gamers

I've never been an alpha player because of cc mixing weird with Townies and it takes forever for it to make it fit in the world (absolutely no hate to alpha cc users, yall have my heart) but it fitting InZOI makes me excited. I can finally see the cool hype of alpha type stuff
Apparently you won’t. It’s specs are higher then sims 4 but others have said it can run on average specs pc similar to sims 3. It looks like it’s heavy to use because it’s using a different engine but if you have a decent graphics card it should still run pretty well
I am absolutely blown away. Not only is the character creator so customizable, the tools are intuitive and the UI is very clean and easy to use. As someone who gets overwhelmed by options, this is a feature I really appreciate. The Zois look like actual people and they did such a beautiful job on even the smallest details. Looks like they gave the character visuals a face lift since I last saw. Was worried that it was gonna have an uncanny k-pop-y look but now it looks nice. Inzoi will fulfill the "realism" life sim while Paralives fulfills the "cartoony"
Not having teenagers is a BIG no for me in this game I mean they're way more important for the game than toddlers Ill still play it it seems amazing but they REALLY need to get working on teenagers
it still under development, sure that life span will come with an update, as same as how sims 4 came without toddler, the toddler later added through an update. I think it because they doesn't want the teenager look like young adult by physical appearance (like certain game)

They can keep developing. I'll probably watch let's play but right now the lack of teens and toddlers will keep me at a no. I felt the same way about LBY, prettier graphics doesn't change my mind. I love family gameplay and just baby and 'child' isn't enough.
omg this is awesome! I'm not much of a CAS person but love these details. I'm waiting to see how build mode works before getting into this new life sim. If they let us have spiral staircases, able to section off walls into parts such as full top and full bottom or half top half bottom, manipulate wall height per section instead of the full build to allow for garages then I'm sold.
Omg I literally cannot wait for this. I was hoping that when Unreal Engine came out that the next step for the Sims would have been this choice but they keep wanting to stay cartoonish but I don't care about that anymore because now we have inZOI and inZOI is what I had envisioned for the Sims. I don’t think you should say it’s "confirmed" there’s no teens, especially without checking with the developers. I’ve watched a lot of gameplay videos and there’s definitely teenagers in the game, you just can’t make them in the character studio yet idk why. But I’ve seen teenagers in other people’s videos!!!
As a not big fan of alpha style myself i have to admit this looks amazing, sims 3 was too ahed of its time but now that we have the right technology to make this and to do it well i have to say I’m starting to really like this ultra realistic looks in games
The only thing i want to point out but maybe i missed them or their werent show in the video is that i didnt see piercings… i know it’s not that deep 😅but i love to give personality to my characters with piercings, also ofc i agree with u that we need more outfits categories, i want to be able to customize the sleepwear and at least party of event outfits as well as cold or hot weather

I hate alpha cc in the sims because they don't fit sims world but I've always wanted realistic sims and now I can have it! After I upgrade my PC but still.
I’ve also been simming since 2001. I’ve experienced the continuous improvements in graphics with every new Sims game. (Well, except 4 really. That was a downgrade.) I expected the Sims 5 to look like this. Imagine my disappointment upon seeing the stupid Project René Sims.
Its motion captured animations...thats why it looks so realistic. Its 100x better than sims for sure. But mo cap is the secret and has been used for many years before in many games 😂

The weight changes showing on the face is absolutely wonderful, I've never been satisfied with how games depict body weight and after seeing this I finally know why! We can finally have characters that look like real people! I'm hoping they will have features for scars and deformities as well, but if not not then hopefully we can mod them in.
I will probably only play this game for the Character Creator (at least for now) because as someone who writes stories, this will be an amazing companion when making characters T.T I am loving this already and I am so ready to download and makes tons of Zois!
The "desired life" feature being compared to TS3's Lifetime wish in addition to there being a color wheel in both make me think inZOI took inspiration from at least TS3 and TS4, but primarily from TS3, given the color wheel, lifetime wish, the way the detailed facial features work. There's probably lots of TS4 similarities too, one of them being the detailed facial features, as that reminds me of both TS3 and TS4, in both similar and different ways to one another. There's more, but not things I can be bothered to write right now, nor do I instantly recall them - watching more of the video would help
I played similar games to PUBG, which is also made by Krafton, and they have similar character creators, with the adjustable push-pull face parts and realistic look and it looks like Krafton took it to a much higher level. The character creation already got me hooked and I am hoping for the improvements in the future, inZOI looks very promising especially in the customization in both character and build mode I can't wait. East-Asian devs are just crazy with this and I'm glad they're finally jumping into the life sim game scene.
This is pretty typical quality for Korean-style MMO character creation, right down to the lack of afro textured hairs LOL. Looking forward to how they improve this as I’m not quite sold yet, but it does look amazing for early access.
I think I saw 2 afro textured hairs in the trailer, but that is nothing 😬 They did darker skin well though, although I'm not sure what the darkest shade is.
I'm so excited for Inzoi! I do wonder how the traits will affect gameplay, it seems like a good system, I do wish however that there was some more negative traits, cause they all seem very positive. I also feel like I need to play around with the body customizations, it seems to be a little limited and not the biggest variety of body sizes, but maybe that'll change
I remembered they made some hairstyles were you could shorten the hair. I wonder if that's put in the create a character 🤔 because i thought that was a amazing feature.
I don’t know if this is a super unpopular opinion but this game feels way too good to be true to me. Hyper realistic graphics, beautiful and fluid animations, it looks more to me like what you’d see in a pre-rendered cinematic trailer than an actual full video game. I think I’ll believe it when the full game is out and it’s not riddled with bugs and/or performance issues. I’d also be interested to see how the animations look with larger body types
There is gameplay out from some other youtubers, but def. I wanna see everything so far we have just 1 town in demo and not all features avilable yet. We have a demo soon but only zoi creator.
I want height sliders 😢 Heights are very important. Damn now I want Life By You. It had so much potential especially it was moddable and modders can surely improve their appearance.
I really don't think constantly comparing this to Sims 4 is completely fair - this is a brand new game, with a newer engine. Of course there is things you CAN'T do in Sims 4, it's an older game at this point. I'll still be playing Sims 4 when this is out, because they are different games..not comparable. I do think this is great for competitive sales for sure, but it's just simply not comparable..the only thing to compare is that it's a "life sim" but this game is so different to how you play the game.
It’s the only other simulation game out there, and EA needs competition. So yes, it’s fair to compare them. Since EA had a monopoly, they haven’t improved the game much. The Sims 3 was a leap forward after The Sims 2 with its open world, but The Sims 4 felt like a downgrade. Despite that, I still love The Sims.

RE: the pull and drag thing - it has a patent at the US patent office. However, all of the characteristics of that patent except one (the highlighting) was used by Nintendo in the start screen of Mario 64 nearly 30 years ago. The patent would not survive challenge and if it wouldn't cost me $2000+ dollars to challenge it I would have gotten rid of their patent myself. It would cost them more since they probably have several patents. Seriously, look up that patent and the Super Mario 64 start screen. It's U.S. Patent no. 10,275,947.
This game looks insanely good! I love hyper realism however I'm sure my old computer couldn't run this so I'll sadly have to pass on it. Love the color wheel and all the detail. This could put other sim type games out of business for sure!
What the heck this is SO COOL! The FILTERS omg they really went above and beyond. So much time and effort went into the creation of this game. This is so exciting!
The one thing that's stopping inZoi from buldozing The Sims is the system specs. And I'm saying this as someone who grew up with The Sims and actually wants to see it survive.
Overall this looks amazing. The only thing that stood out as a bit odd/off were the glasses. I noticed that the black square ones he put on her clipped through her ear as well as sat a bit too low on her face.
I was hoping to see more of the face and body tweaking, I struggle with it on Sims 4, definitely prefer sliders, and I wanted to know how easy it is to get your intentions across when pulling on the face in InZoi.
For the outfits, I noticed you said they dont have categories for the type of outfits. Like summer, winter, swimwear, etc. Im thinking, is there an option to save your customized outfits and you can use those on occasion whenever youd like? I think that would make the most sense for a developing game like inZOi. especially seeing how the UI is set up, that would make the most sense. And it also makes me wonder if that is the case, if you could be able to put a name on those outfits? But maybe that's just a lil step too much.
I wonder if you can create more than one person in a household or is it just creating one person and then adding whoever you meet in the world. I also wonder if you can create Zoi’s or persons for yours to meet in the world. Idk if this was confirmed somewhere. But I’m excited nonetheless !!!
The cas customization screen and graphics kinda reminds me of Detroit become human when you first open the game and the girl robot is talking to you. I’m loving the customization choices, I can’t wait to its released😜
There is no planet where the “cartoon” mode in InZoi looks anything like paralives and the main reason is InZoi is photorealisim and Paralives is not. Your can’t throw a filter over realisim and get Paralives and that is ok. This is not shade on InZoi if you want photorealisim you buy InZoi. It is quite beautiful for a photorealistic game. But Paralives is MEANT to be impressionistic not photo realistic. Its not some mark Paralives missed, its not what they were going for. You can’t accomplish that classic painting look Paralives has with what looks like a cheap instagram filter. (And its kinda an ugly filter tbh and degrades the game).
In your previous video I asked to see about male stuff, like beard and bodyhair, but I guess Ill wait until the free demo Create a Zoi, come and see if this game has potential for me or not. Good video showcasing some aspect of create a zoi though!

It looks good but those traits, along with selections that followed it are all biased one way. It's all positive aspects (for lack of a better word). There's nNothing for the shy, the introverts, the unambitious, the lazy etc etc. The creation of characters looks excellent though.
Even if EA trademarked the push and pull features, Inzoi made it different. EA isn't the only one that has the push-and-pull feature. Even if it's trademarked you can still use it but you have to make it completely different. Inzoi made it different by adding facial points for the push-and-pull feature.
When InZOI was first shown, my brain went. Oh, a Cyberpunk life simulation? Seeing character creation doesn’t disappoint compared to the Sims or to my first thought. I am curious to see what we can do when InZOI is fully released.
in a lot of asian mmos, the dragging character creation system is quite common. in chinese mmos and mobile games too, and ofc korean ones. no way that EA can copyright that
I’ve never been an Alpha player because I find it either creepy or just takes a lot of time finding a combo of skin details and etc just to get them to look right. So, this is really selling me on getting the game. I hate combing the internet to find good guy clothes. And now I can make my own punk or Alt texture looks. I’m excited.

even then, they can’t. male and female sims have different presets, and sliders can only get you so far.

Not having teenagers is a BIG no for me in this game I mean they're way more important for the game than toddlers

Still in early access they could be still working on them, which is why they’ve not put them in
it still under development, sure that life span will come with an update, as same as how sims 4 came without toddler, the toddler later added through an update.
I think it because they doesn't want the teenager look like young adult by physical appearance (like certain game)
I play teens frequently and love designing them.
@@BotolPetjahThat's fine, I didn't play Sims 4 until they had toddlers. I had everything I wanted in Sims 2 and didn't move until I thought I could play with all the life stages I wanted. They can keep developing. I'll probably watch let's play but right now the lack of teens and toddlers will keep me at a no. I felt the same way about LBY, prettier graphics doesn't change my mind. I love family gameplay and just baby and 'child' isn't enough.
I have to disagree that the cartoon mode looks anything like Paralives. It's just a line filter (possible inverse hull) on the model.

omg this is awesome! I'm not much of a CAS person but love these details. I'm waiting to see how build mode works before getting into this new life sim. If they let us have spiral staircases, able to section off walls into parts such as full top and full bottom or half top half bottom, manipulate wall height per section instead of the full build to allow for garages then I'm sold.
Omg I literally cannot wait for this. I was hoping that when Unreal Engine came out that the next step for the Sims would have been this choice but they keep wanting to stay cartoonish but I don't care about that anymore because now we have inZOI and inZOI is what I had envisioned for the Sims. So I can't wait for this to be out for normies like me to play. So thank you so much for the review. I've been watching others but I always wait for yours as well. SO EXCITED for this!!! 🎉
I don’t think you should say it’s "confirmed" there’s no teens, especially without checking with the developers. I’ve watched a lot of gameplay videos and there’s definitely teenagers in the game, you just can’t make them in the character studio yet idk why. But I’ve seen teenagers in other people’s videos!!!
As a not big fan of alpha style myself i have to admit this looks amazing, sims 3 was too ahed of its time but now that we have the right technology to make this and to do it well i have to say I’m starting to really like this ultra realistic looks in games
The only thing i want to point out but maybe i missed them or their werent show in the video is that i didnt see piercings… i know it’s not that deep 😅but i love to give personality to my characters with piercings, also ofc i agree with u that we need more outfits categories, i want to be able to customize the sleepwear and at least party of event outfits as well as cold or hot weather
I've been playing the sims since version 1, never in my life I thought I'd see a game like this. Finally the future of sim gaming arrived. EA sims are dead. Imagine the mods possibilities, it's going to be huuuuuge!!!
I hate alpha cc in the sims because they don't fit sims world but I've always wanted realistic sims and now I can have it! After I upgrade my PC but still.
I’ve also been simming since 2001. I’ve experienced the continuous improvements in graphics with every new Sims game. (Well, except 4 really. That was a downgrade.)
I expected the Sims 5 to look like this. Imagine my disappointment upon seeing the stupid Project René Sims.
Its motion captured animations...thats why it looks so realistic. Its 100x better than sims for sure. But mo cap is the secret and has been used for many years before in many games 😂
I hope this game is more than just 'hyperdetailed character creator' and actually has gameplay.

The weight changes showing on the face is absolutely wonderful, I've never been satisfied with how games depict body weight and after seeing this I finally know why! We can finally have characters that look like real people! I'm hoping they will have features for scars and deformities as well, but if not not then hopefully we can mod them in.
I will probably only play this game for the Character Creator (at least for now) because as someone who writes stories, this will be an amazing companion when making characters T.T I am loving this already and I am so ready to download and makes tons of Zois!

The "desired life" feature being compared to TS3's Lifetime wish in addition to there being a color wheel in both make me think inZOI took inspiration from at least TS3 and TS4, but primarily from TS3, given the color wheel, lifetime wish, the way the detailed facial features work. There's probably lots of TS4 similarities too, one of them being the detailed facial features, as that reminds me of both TS3 and TS4, in both similar and different ways to one another.
There's more, but not things I can be bothered to write right now, nor do I instantly recall them - watching more of the video would help
I played similar games to PUBG, which is also made by Krafton, and they have similar character creators, with the adjustable push-pull face parts and realistic look and it looks like Krafton took it to a much higher level. The character creation already got me hooked and I am hoping for the improvements in the future, inZOI looks very promising especially in the customization in both character and build mode I can't wait. East-Asian devs are just crazy with this and I'm glad they're finally jumping into the life sim game scene.
This is pretty typical quality for Korean-style MMO character creation, right down to the lack of afro textured hairs LOL. Looking forward to how they improve this as I’m not quite sold yet, but it does look amazing for early access.
I think I saw 2 afro textured hairs in the trailer, but that is nothing 😬
They did darker skin well though, although I'm not sure what the darkest shade is.

I'm so excited for Inzoi! I do wonder how the traits will affect gameplay, it seems like a good system, I do wish however that there was some more negative traits, cause they all seem very positive. I also feel like I need to play around with the body customizations, it seems to be a little limited and not the biggest variety of body sizes, but maybe that'll change

I remembered they made some hairstyles were you could shorten the hair. I wonder if that's put in the create a character 🤔 because i thought that was a amazing feature.
I don’t know if this is a super unpopular opinion but this game feels way too good to be true to me. Hyper realistic graphics, beautiful and fluid animations, it looks more to me like what you’d see in a pre-rendered cinematic trailer than an actual full video game. I think I’ll believe it when the full game is out and it’s not riddled with bugs and/or performance issues. I’d also be interested to see how the animations look with larger body types
There is gameplay out from some other youtubers, but def. I wanna see everything so far we have just 1 town in demo and not all features avilable yet. We have a demo soon but only zoi creator.

I want height sliders 😢 Heights are very important. Damn now I want Life By You. It had so much potential especially it was moddable and modders can surely improve their appearance.
I really don't think constantly comparing this to Sims 4 is completely fair - this is a brand new game, with a newer engine. Of course there is things you CAN'T do in Sims 4, it's an older game at this point. I'll still be playing Sims 4 when this is out, because they are different games..not comparable. I do think this is great for competitive sales for sure, but it's just simply not comparable..the only thing to compare is that it's a "life sim" but this game is so different to how you play the game.
It’s the only other simulation game out there, and EA needs competition. So yes, it’s fair to compare them. Since EA had a monopoly, they haven’t improved the game much. The Sims 3 was a leap forward after The Sims 2 with its open world, but The Sims 4 felt like a downgrade. Despite that, I still love The Sims.

RE: the pull and drag thing - it has a patent at the US patent office. However, all of the characteristics of that patent except one (the highlighting) was used by Nintendo in the start screen of Mario 64 nearly 30 years ago. The patent would not survive challenge and if it wouldn't cost me $2000+ dollars to challenge it I would have gotten rid of their patent myself. It would cost them more since they probably have several patents. Seriously, look up that patent and the Super Mario 64 start screen. It's U.S. Patent no. 10,275,947.

This game looks insanely good! I love hyper realism however I'm sure my old computer couldn't run this so I'll sadly have to pass on it. Love the color wheel and all the detail. This could put other sim type games out of business for sure!
What the heck this is SO COOL! The FILTERS omg they really went above and beyond. So much time and effort went into the creation of this game. This is so exciting!

The one thing that's stopping inZoi from buldozing The Sims is the system specs. And I'm saying this as someone who grew up with The Sims and actually wants to see it survive.
Overall this looks amazing. The only thing that stood out as a bit odd/off were the glasses. I noticed that the black square ones he put on her clipped through her ear as well as sat a bit too low on her face.
I was hoping to see more of the face and body tweaking, I struggle with it on Sims 4, definitely prefer sliders, and I wanted to know how easy it is to get your intentions across when pulling on the face in InZoi.

For the outfits, I noticed you said they dont have categories for the type of outfits. Like summer, winter, swimwear, etc. Im thinking, is there an option to save your customized outfits and you can use those on occasion whenever youd like? I think that would make the most sense for a developing game like inZOi. especially seeing how the UI is set up, that would make the most sense. And it also makes me wonder if that is the case, if you could be able to put a name on those outfits? But maybe that's just a lil step too much.

The cas customization screen and graphics kinda reminds me of Detroit become human when you first open the game and the girl robot is talking to you. I’m loving the customization choices, I can’t wait to its released😜
There is no planet where the “cartoon” mode in InZoi looks anything like paralives and the main reason is InZoi is photorealisim and Paralives is not. Your can’t throw a filter over realisim and get Paralives and that is ok.
This is not shade on InZoi if you want photorealisim you buy InZoi. It is quite beautiful for a photorealistic game. But Paralives is MEANT to be impressionistic not photo realistic. Its not some mark Paralives missed, its not what they were going for. You can’t accomplish that classic painting look Paralives has with what looks like a cheap instagram filter. (And its kinda an ugly filter tbh and degrades the game).
Trust me eventually all sims 4 players will buy this game

Teens are a thing just still in development. In the trailers you can see them in uniforms and backpacks as well as looking slightly shorter.

It looks good but those traits, along with selections that followed it are all biased one way. It's all positive aspects (for lack of a better word). There's nNothing for the shy, the introverts, the unambitious, the lazy etc etc.

Even if EA trademarked the push and pull features, Inzoi made it different. EA isn't the only one that has the push-and-pull feature. Even if it's trademarked you can still use it but you have to make it completely different. Inzoi made it different by adding facial points for the push-and-pull feature.

in a lot of asian mmos, the dragging character creation system is quite common. in chinese mmos and mobile games too, and ofc korean ones. no way that EA can copyright that

I’ve never been an Alpha player because I find it either creepy or just takes a lot of time finding a combo of skin details and etc just to get them to look right. So, this is really selling me on getting the game. I hate combing the internet to find good guy clothes. And now I can make my own punk or Alt texture looks. I’m excited.
