Wow! I have just recently taken interest in J. S. Bach music, and wondered how was it possible to compose so much groundbreaking brilliant music at his time, and what an extraordinary person J. S. Bach must have been, an orphan at 9 years old, and father of 20.... I have also wondered why hasn't anyone made a blockbuster movie about him, - like the one about Mozart. Perhaps because we simply don't know enough about his life? So many questions arise following this "interview"...
Think of it, all musicians owe a LOT to composers like Bach ... He "heard" the music, yes, a thread connecting to the divine, but he also took the time and effort to convey it and make it accessible to generations to come. Deepest gratitude to you Johann Sebastian Bach!
Great observations... I think when we "wake up" to the fact that we are all connected to the Divine, it will make more sense to make a movie about him! I'm happy you enjoyed this.

I believe you as soon as you mentioned that Bach wrote for himself. That is true. Mozart once said after reading his piece for the first time that he didnt write it for the audience but for himself. This is little known information.
